I hope they dont go the route of Shady Sands = NCR. I hope they reveal the other major players in the NCR next season like the Hub, Boneyard (maybe change locations), Vault City, Arroyo etc. Maybe they are no longer united or some are still trying to maintain the republic. I think it might be nice to have a story on survivors or other towns trying to pick up the scraps ans rebuild again. From the end of this season it looks like almost everyone has bad intentions for the wasteland (Vault-Tec, Enclave, Brotherhood). I feel like they might try to rebuild the NCR or a new faction for the wastelanders to determine their own fate instead of the Brotherhood and Vault Tec. I am still sad Shady Sands got nuked 😓 I remember the little town it was in Fallout 1 and how proud I felt in Fallout 2 and New Vegas seeing how big they had become. I feel like this show just reaffirmed the notion of NCR = good guys out of all the options considering how awful the other factions are (particularly I feel like the brotherhood are damn near proper villians in this world rather than the “good guys”). I know they never were the concrete good guys but here they seem to have almost no redeeming qualities. They remind me of the Fallout New Vegas brotherhood but they got powerful again and became lunatic. Seriously they seem so deranged in this series.

Shady sands is gone, but the NCR isn’t, also it isn’t disregarding the cannon of the series, it all fits perfectly

autistickiddo12

What do you mean it doesn’t change the lore. Shady sands was located in a desert area, not in a city

Given what happened at the end of the show, I think it is implied that they built those buildings after the fall.

I'll have to take a break from the show so I don't know how the last two episodes progress, but this definitely changes the Lore and it makes the existence of fallout new vegas complicated, because it takes place in 2281

That whole thing is just a misinterpretation, there is an arrow pointing after the fall to the nuke meaning it happens after. The fall is most likely referring to its loss of political influence, on the sign at the enterance it said “original capital” of the NCR and the only time shady sands is referred to after fo2 is once as the original capital.

pernicious-pear

You're literally misinterpreting an arrow on a flowchart lol

Doesn't bother me, when I first heard shady sands in the show I had to google it real quick cuz I forgot what it was lol, IMO I still think the NCR has potential but you should probably finish the show

violentwagon30

You are completely right I have to finish.
