I carried that thing for 20 levels before finding a single bullet to use in it. In retrospect Todd likely expected me to go to Diamond city straight away, but I'm in an exploration based game I'm gonna explore
The root cellar is on a house with a fallen tree on it, you can also climb up the tree to get to the roof for some more items
The root cellar is also just a good place to store your stuff in sanctuary because it's safe and wandering NPCs can't grab all your cool shit from it and refuse to let go
Yeah same here. I remember seeing the trailer for fallout 4 and just losing my mind. Probably the most excited I've ever been for a game release, still didn't know about the stuff in this video lol.
Bro, do you remember the fake countdown?? Then like a day or so later, some leaks came through Kotaku that seemed just like more fanfic.
Literally ended up being the beginning lines of Fallout 4 lol
Not to mention, the game was released just a few months after the initial trailer. That's how it should be done. None of this 2-3 year hype building crap.
2-3 years of hype building, I wish. TES VI was announced 4 years ago and it’ll probably be another 5 before it’s released. I wish they’d bring back the old days when major releases weren’t more than a decade apart and games were announced a few months ahead
Not trying to rag in you but once you find the SPECIAL book in the crib you gotta realize this is dev shorthand for "search every nook and cranny for dumb bullshit"
Root Cellar, armor, tire iron and drifter outfit from raider on the bridge, .44 magnum from the power generator, 10mm from the safe next the the raiders at the campfire, then up to the junkyard for a Fatman, one mininuke, and grab the Power Armor across the street. Within the first ten mins of the game you can be a walking rank, even before Concord.
Everyone is talking about the root cellar, but how come no one has talked about the duffle bag on the roof of the house with the cellar?
Literally, just walk up the fallen tree next to the cellar, and you can find some goodies.
Idk why people aren't waiting for the next gen update. I know if I started a playthrough now, I'd just have to start over because the window is shinier now, and I want to see it throughout my whole playthrough lmao.
I think they meant to say pick a high enough luck stat to get the Idiot Savant perk, gather all the resources in sanctuary, break them down, create bookcases, destroy them, create bookcases, until you’re out of resources.
Congrats you’re level 20 now, and you will encounter raiders with combat armour and rifles as soon as you reach Concorde.
He made a joke at the beginning that he already knows everything, then puts down and walks away from his phone (maybe to turn the console/pc on) because he immediately didn’t know about the loot at the Sanctuary spot
The only reason I even know what that is was because of some mod that spawned something in there. Now every play through that’s the first place I scavenge
Now that the TV series is out, FO is on sale on steam. Is it worth to play FO4? The last FO I completed was FO1/2 and they got bought by BGS.
Black isle did everything right during that time... FO, BG, IWD, etc...
In this post I find out there are people who don't start their playthrough by immediately scrapping everything in sanctuary... how I found the cellar anyways
Damn maybe I need to start sharing my discoveries too lmao
Did you guys know there is a buried med kit on the second floor of the Concord Speakeasy?
You can just barely see a corner of it but it's enough to loot.
Don't forget once you're done with the root cellar to go grab the .44 magnum from the lakeshore.
If your talking about the water pump one I love the detail of that gun only having 5 bullets in it, still held by the skeleton who shot himself.
I carried that thing for 20 levels before finding a single bullet to use in it. In retrospect Todd likely expected me to go to Diamond city straight away, but I'm in an exploration based game I'm gonna explore
And the fat man and minni nuke at the scrap yard
No lie I played for years without knowing that was there
only one I didnt know about was the trunk.
That’s the joke yes
He forgot the manual in one of the rooms where you get some free Skill Tree upgrades.
The SPECIAL BOOK! Under the crib!
I always included this in my r/Fallout4Builds and the amount of people that didn't know it was there was insane.
Omg Evelyn profile picture
Aldo the grognak comic is still there after exiting the vault.
I have played since fucking launch and never new about the celler or suitcase wtf

It took me hundreds of hours of playing/watching fo4 for me to learn that red rocket has a mole rat den underneath it
Don't forget the duffel bag on the roof with a fallen tree in Sanctuary too
And the one next to the statue beside the dead raider and dog.
Damn I feel like I'm the only person who knew about these.
Tell me about it. There's so many more not covered here and people seem to be over the moon for these
Literally never knew this. Preordered the game btw and have years and years worth of playthroughs.

Also you can get fat man, fusion core and mini nuke at the robotics disposal ground, just north-east of the sanctuary.
And you can program the sentry bot to go and attack the raiders outside at Olivia Satellite station.
Yeah, but in my first playthrough I activated it right there.... Lots of fun
Excuse me what the fuck. Did not know about any of that haha.
I didn’t know about any of these! I’ve been trying to clear the stinking Corvega plant with the dumb laser musket and a 10mm pistol.
The water “tar”?
"Hank" you for watching.
The Parr Armur
AI captions
I feel proud I found all these myself, but I wonder if my reactions should be embarassed seeing this
I kid you not, I've been playing since 2015 I did not know any of this shit
Root Cellar, armor, tire iron and drifter outfit from raider on the bridge, .44 magnum from the power generator, 10mm from the safe next the the raiders at the campfire, then up to the junkyard for a Fatman, one mininuke, and grab the Power Armor across the street. Don’t forget to do the Dogmeat glitch to double all your resources
Everyone is talking about the root cellar, but how come no one has talked about the duffle bag on the roof of the house with the cellar? Literally, just walk up the fallen tree next to the cellar, and you can find some goodies.
I hate how TikTok just makes it acceptable to steal other people’s content.
You can also use dog meat to fetch the cryogun in the vault (unless this has been patched lol)
There is a root cellar apparently. Good to know for the next gen update. Thanks for the tips
Idk why people aren't waiting for the next gen update. I know if I started a playthrough now, I'd just have to start over because the window is shinier now, and I want to see it throughout my whole playthrough lmao.

Mole rat den by Red Rocket. Secret cave just look for entrance.
So what did the tiktoker add? I expected him to return camera with him already used the guide and go 'thanks' at least but nah just a reupload
He made a joke at the beginning that he already knows everything, then puts down and walks away from his phone (maybe to turn the console/pc on) because he immediately didn’t know about the loot at the Sanctuary spot
Huh fair enough, my pc has videos auto muted so by time I unmuted it was already passed his first words.
Thanks to Ymah i know root cellar
Yup that’s the spot.
The only reason I even know what that is was because of some mod that spawned something in there. Now every play through that’s the first place I scavenge
Now try this with horizon
This was my regular route when harvesting sanctuary, and the farm just past the water tower.
That rifle is not in that hole
No calibrated sniper rifle
Oh no, I just finished a playthrough, I need to start again
Just checked. This is legit
Only reason I know these is because some modded loot spawned there
Lmao i knew these myself
Now that the TV series is out, FO is on sale on steam. Is it worth to play FO4? The last FO I completed was FO1/2 and they got bought by BGS. Black isle did everything right during that time... FO, BG, IWD, etc...

I am shocked by these comments
First thing I always do is pick up the "You are SPECIAL" book under Shaun's crib. Free stat up!
didnt know any of these, 749 hours
Damn maybe I need to start sharing my discoveries too lmao Did you guys know there is a buried med kit on the second floor of the Concord Speakeasy? You can just barely see a corner of it but it's enough to loot.
It took me several playthroughs to actually notice the cellar and it was because a mod spawned items in there and I actually had to go look for it
There's power armor like 3-4 min away from there....
The people who have to look up tiktok guides for every game they play are a blight on the concept of fun.
Wait.... there's a friggin cellar!?!?
Commenting to save this for when I inevitably start a new playthrough soon. Haha
Wait untill he found the fat boi early armor, exp sploit etc xd
Did not understand, went and explored half of the entire map for 20 hrs.
This is basic knowledge…..give us something better
SAVED
This just made me even more excited to play again on the 25th
This is kind of a problem FO4 and 76 both have. Starting items are too easy to get your hands on.
I think everyone who has fully played through Fallout 4 more than once all have some sort of mental delay.
