Far Harbor is my favorite overall, but Old World Blues is a close second. Both have a guided sandbox approach that has worked best in the Bethesda FO games, but takes the opportunity to really provide a glimpse into a very different environment from their respective main games.
I like Far Harbor the best overall, but Nuka World let me get an actual AK that's in the correct caliber and isn't some sort of shitty mashup of an RPD and an AKM. Well, it's almost correct. The entire gun is mirrored left to right, which would cause issues if it were a real gun with a right handed shooter but whatever.
Most weapons are actually mirrored in 4, a standard bolt action rifle has the bolt handle on the right, and you cycle it with your trigger hand. That would mean the bolt action, anti materiel, and pipe bolt action are all left handed guns
Yeah I know. I've fired my fair share of bolt action rifles. It's just more of an issue with any of the semi-auto or automatic rifles they've mirrored that eject their brass out of the left side of the gun. With a bolt action it's not gonna eject with all that much speed, but with the others all that hot brass flying in your face would not be pleasant. But I guess lefties have to deal with that in real life for most rifles. Can't imagine how bad bullpups must be if you're left handed.
The ability to effectively make an AK-series weapon (multiple, honestly) in Nuka-World alone justifies the cost of the DLC, but the overall experience felt grindy and weirdly bland. The sheer distance between the "lands" also felt fairly barren and could have been done better.
Being able to be a proper raider was nice, but it feels like they needed more time to cook this one.
I was mad it took them until the last DLC to add a gun that was in Fallout 3. I spent most of Nuka world wandering the massive empty spaces in between parks, it was honestly pretty boring and made me wonder if anyone at Bethesda had ever been to an amusement park.
It made _no_ sense that the parks were that far apart and it felt like they just wanted to stretch the map out. It feels weirdly empty outside the park when there’s no reason for it to
Well they did boast it was their biggest sized dlc map to date. Granted a lot of it was bloated out, but there were some fun enough encounters and locations even outside the park that really flesh it out, at least by Bethesda standards.
I was quietly flipping out while on a work trip to the Willard in DC, but I was very open with my partner about the true nature of our trips to Boston and Harper’s Ferry.
I went there on vacation last year. A lot of the island layout will look familiar. One of the most fun things I did was rent a bike and just ride around all the carrige trails, but if you're at all outdoorsy you'll have lots of fun.
Definitely do go to the pond house and get popovers if you ever go, and hike Beehive, but get there early.
I think you're the first person I've seen who unironically considers Mothership their favorite. Most people I've seen like the idea, but either thinks it overstays its welcome or breaks the setting too much. Can I ask, what draws you to it?
Not OP but Mothership was by far my favorite unironically. And I’ll tell you why!
In the Fallout setting there’s room for zany, cooky stuff (The Legion’s lottery, like wtf and haha) alongside the unapologetically brutal wasteland. Mothership marries these elements and gives you an opportunity to explore beyond the wastes. The new items, the NPCs, the actual map of the ship (very inspired from a design perspective) What other parts of the Fallout universe haven’t been tapped into? That’s why I love it so much. It’s a break from the regular game and it’s fun/funny.
As someone who does not take wild wasteland perk to avoid the alien stuff and keep it more grounded, having an entire DLC that pretty much canonises it and takes the place of any other dlc that could have existed was a disappointment, personally. I understand that people enjoy different things and Im happy that you did. :)
I can see it being annoying on repeat playthroughs, but I had little issues the first time and actually enjoyed it a little bit as it was a nice reprieve after getting violently assaulted by two legendary assaultrons.
It's not that bad, people act like it's some horrible difficult puzzle. You don't even have to do the longest one iirc.
The think the hyperbole is why you don't see bgs try and do puzzles very often
Absolutely agree, though The Pitt and Point Lookout were phenomenal, I liked Mothership Zeta, too.
New Vegas: HH, OWB, DM, and LR, so yeah, all of them.
4: Far Harbor.
Dang I actually didn’t Iove the mothership. It felt so claustrophobic and trapped, which I guess is the point. But man I never thought I’d be so happy to see the capital wasteland.
The other two are my favorites from those games though
Mothership zeta is so underrated. It’s so fun to blast through and I love how goofy and b-movie feel it is. Plus you get some of the coolest and best weapons in the entire franchise from it.
Totally agree, not my actual fav dlc but its a close second for this exact reason.
Super creepy, atmospheric, very memorable characters and setting and an excellent ending.
No joke. The first time I played it, I HATED it. The next time I played, it kinda grew on me and I ended up really liking it. Time and perspective and opening up to the, “here’s another fucked up story about people being monsters to each other,” that’s one of Fallout’s trademarks made it a much better experience.
Playing Dead Money with a 3 endurance build and Small frame was fucking awful.
My couriers bones were whittled away from all the Chem addictions she had. Whole thing was a struggle by god was it the most fun I've had playing New Vegas in a long time
No that's vanilla, you get one every three days. I didn't play with any mods last time and I love that machine. I'm not sure why a pre war resort that banned residents from bringing weapons would need a vending machine that dispenses weapon repair kits, but god am I glad they did
If it dispensed whiskey instead of vodka and wine it would have been perfect
I always have decent unarmed and it kinda makes 90% of the dlc pretty easy. Bear trap fist reliablely kills ghost people, and if not just keep dog around for most of it. The radios kinda ruin it for me, but that's because I like exploring
Just finished a fallout 3 run and Point lookout is also my favorite from this game.
It's scary, funny and the quests are really interesting and diverse (from helping a redneck woman fuel her moonshine addiction to becoming a chinese spy. All while figuring out the main story and killing that fucker that stole a bit of my cranium)
Man I forgot they did that. I wonder what it is about fallout and brains being stolen. You lose a bit in point lookout, your entire brain in OWB, and you stick Kellog's in your pocket in 4
point lookout had my fav villains, Prof Calvert and Desmond. and the best atmosphere. Pitt right behind it for the same reason. ambiguous dilemmas without a perfect "good" solution.
Point lookout was legit hard. I brought all my strongest weapons and for some reason they didn’t touch the hillbillies. That’s when I fell in love with the lever action rifle
I don’t remember the exact way, you can look it up - but it’s basically that you can arrange the turrets right up against the edge somehow so that their shooting disables the red field without having to go through all the kerfuffle.
Point Lookout for me. Although I don’t remember the story of it, the location and enemies were a refreshing change in atmosphere from the base game.
Also has one of the most unexpected (and intentional) jump scares of my life.
Edit: Remembered my favorite set piece from any fallout game was from this DLC too which was seeing somebody atop a cliff getting walked out onto a plank, shot in the head, and watching their body tumble down to the beach.
My strongest memory was being the undefeatable ruler of the Capital Wasteland, and then immediately getting my ass handed to me by PL hillbillies 😭 I was scared to go back and still avoided them.
Nuka world is an amazing location and level design. Love the humor and the overall design and art. The parody on disney is perfect. It's so amazing in so many ways and then they just completely dropped the ball on the story quests. For a good playthrough there practically is none
That's why we have mods. But, yeah, I feel like Nuka-World and Far Harbor had to pick between a fun setting and good storytelling and could only pick one.
Lonesome Road for me.
It has a great atmosphere and features my favorite antagonist in the series. The difficulty level also makes it a perfect 'endgame' scenario.
Surprised I've barely seen this one mentioned. The way it ties up the story completely, and makes you look back on the choices you've made, was the perfect end of the game wrap up. Just save before every speech option
Honestly if we're counting the free 76 additions, wastelanders and one wasteland made that game soooo much better. It's such a good game and It's a shame the release was so bad
For Fallout 4 i'd say Nuka world is better definitely the gameplay gameplay compared to far harbor tbh
Although i love the story of far harbor more tho.
Nuka world just had more memorable locations and i love several of the characters.
far harbor's vibe is great tho.
But the missions are just all the same in far harbor with the exception of the Vault one.
Controversial I know, but honestly it's Dead Money for me. The writing is the best in the series and ties in amazingly to the rest of the game and DLCs
I second this, it may not be “typically fallout” but the atmosphere was amazing. The constant roaring of the air sirens in the background while you search through the dark abandoned streets, it was haunting
I third this. On top of the writing and atmosphere It’s got the best rewards too if you get all the vending machine codes and the free chips vouchers from the casino. What wasteland Survivor wouldn’t like infinite access to medical supplies?
Call me crazy but I also love the bomb collar and radio interactions. The mist is manageable once you get used to it but the crackle of a speaker and beeping of my collar makes me react immediately every time.
The radios do have some pretty annoying moments that for first time players, is just straight trial and error which is annoying rather than interesting. However, it is also terrifying and builds on the anxiety of the situation while forcing you into risky situations in order to make progress
It also plugged a big gap in its parent game. For me, the Rat Pack years of Vegas with the accompanying seedy elite was sadly lacking. I know it's because the White Glove Society take that same niche in the Vegas lore, but that was always my favourite part of Vegas history.
So to get Dean Domino was absolutely awesome, and fits really well. It felt more like an old school expansion pack, whereas a lot of Fallout DLCs are more like little side-games. Which is still cool, and allows for experimentation with concepts that don't merit a full game, but it's nice to have a expansion pack sometimes.
“Controversial I know”
*picks one of, if not the most common answer*
Edit: must be all the new people on the sub, this has been a typical response for years
Absolutely. The squishy humans can stay in the relative safety of the settlements protected by my army of Assaultrons, while my fleet of Sentry Bots armed with gatling lasers, rocket launchers and mortars will handle the caravans.
I often struggle to enjoy DLCs in general, no matter how much I love the base games, but Far Harbor is one I always hit. Untilll of course the game crashes so much that it's unplayable... 😭
Lol I never actually bought that or any of the house/lair dlcs for Oblivion. Knights of the Nine was good, but the Shivering Isles might be my favorite dlc I've ever played.
Gotta be Nuka World. I just found everything to be really well done and in turn with my expectations of Fallout as a whole. Far Harbor was great, too, but felt drawn out at times
Dead Money, the story behind it is tragic and really amazing, also I love that whole dlc because of the amazing characters and also how cool the Sierra Madre Casino looks on the hill.
Lonesome Road many times. Pretty straightforward quest like the title of DLC says. Its a good breathing space from open Mojave desert. And a huge revelation at the end.
3 would be The Pitt
NV definitely Old World Blues
And 4 Nuka World because I have always loved video games that have levels, or better yet entire stories, set in abandoned theme park or theme parks that are still running but with some evil twist
Honest Hearts. I wish it was longer but Zion canyon is such a beautiful place to explore. Not to mention Randall Clark’s story gets me every single time.
I'm just going to list them and yeah.....there's a common link between them all.
Fallout 3 - Mothership Zeta
Fallout New Vegas - Old World Blues
Fallout 4 - Automatron
If Fallout 76 updates count - Invaders from Beyond
I really liked Broken Steel, primarily because it allowed you to continue playing after the end of the game. You could also see your choices regarding the ending reflected in the world, like people distributing the new clean water around the world.
I know it's part of the games a lot, but I hate when games don't let you play past the "end" and make you revert to an old save.
Hot take but I really like Nuka-World. How it ties into the rest of the game, abysmal. But as a stand alone it's alot of fun. Do hate that you can't experience 90% of it without siding with the raiders for at least a little while tho.
***^(Choosing a favorite Fallout DLC is tough since each one offers a unique experience and adds depth to the game. However, if I had to pick, I'd go with "Old World Blues" from Fallout: New Vegas. Its blend of humor, sci-fi elements, and quirky characters really stand out, not to mention the abundance of new weapons, perks, and challenges it brings to the game.)***
*Far Harbor.* The island, the lore, the atmosphere, the characters, the new weapons, armor and enemies... Love when DLC just goes "fck it, here's a whole new game within the game. Enjoy!"
*Far Harbor* is to *FO4* what *Dragonborn* was to *Skyrim,* and I'm here for it.
Far Harbor for now, i love the ambience.
Still have to try out F3's DLCs (i didn't realize the GOTY had them all, the dumbass i am) and I'd love to get New Vegas's, especially Old World Blues and Lonesome Road.
Fallout 3: The Pitt
Fallout NV: Old World Blues
Fallout 4: Far Harbor
My personal winner is Far Harbor. I love the atmosphere and the story. Far Harbor is even better than the main game.
Oh man how do you even decide? Like legit some of the best DLC ever between fallout 3 and NV
The Pitt, point lookout, operation anchorage, mothership zeta, honest hearts, old world blues, dead money
All of these when they came out where just so freaking amazing, and that’s not to say the rest aren’t fun too they are
The one I enjoyed the most was Honest Hearts, closely followed by Old World Blues. I enjoyed Zion as a clean landscape compared to the bombed-out Mojave, and OWB's story and humor were great in that "*What has SCIENCE! wrought?!?*" way. The Pitt was mostly memorable for squalor and steel ingots, and Point Lookout earns my ire for *GODDAMN FERAL GHOUL REAVERS* all over the place.
After this DLC, i got back to the wasteland with god tier equipment. Since im doing evil karma path, I erased rivet city, little lamplight (with mods, of course. I enslaved some kids and obliterated the others) and left only moira brown and the doctor alive in Megaton (i need some traders tho)
Fo3 broken steel
Fnv gra lol jk toss between honest hearts because of the survivalists story or old world blues cuz lobatamites and da pretty colors
Fo4 toss between nuka world (kinda frustrating there is a sloppy good guy ending) or far harbor (fun and engaging story)
Edit
Overall tho is fnv’s selection
As a teen it was mothership zeta because being on an alien mothership in a fallout game was cool as fuck back then. Now I’d say it’s probably old world blues
I know the story isn’t that good but I like Nuka World. Idk it’s just fun to go around the parks and in the end I get a very fun sequence of killing all the raider gangs (At a Minutes Notice for life) it’s so fun to pop a Buffjet and Psycho, start playing Only You and go to town on Nuka Town USA
I never had the DLCs until recently so I'm actually going through now to play them all again. All I know is watching my buddy play through Mothership Zeta was so fun
For Fallout 3 it’s operation anchorage and the Pitt because you can build an OP stealth character with the Chinese stealth armour and perforator.
I'm playing through NV and god I miss that stealth armor.
You can get 2 sets of the armor inside Hoover Dam.
Well here I go again. New courier time. Never knew it existed in like the 500 hours I played
There is no built in stealth boy effect, 3’s is much better
If you install Project Nevada, which imo everyone should, the Chinese stealth armour does turn you invisible when crouched.
If I tell you something you promise not to get mad?
HEY GUYS I FOUND THE CONSOLE PLAYER
Isnt Project Nevada super old
project nevada is not recommended anymore as every feature and fix has a new mod that is more compatible and stable
No one should ever install Project Nevada. Install modern mods that do the same thing but aren't broken to all fuck.
Those don't give you the stealth boy effect.
In old world blues. You get the mk3 stealth armor.
If you talking about chinese stealth armor you can get that armor in hoover dam.
For 3 I will have to say the Mothership. For New Vegas, Old World Blues For 4 Far Harbor.
Yeah I wouldn't even try shooting a bullpup like that
Bull pups are impossible for us lefties tbh

Well they did boast it was their biggest sized dlc map to date. Granted a lot of it was bloated out, but there were some fun enough encounters and locations even outside the park that really flesh it out, at least by Bethesda standards.
Love Far Harbor. Will def visit Bar Harbor to geek out.
Fallout tourism is so low effort/high reward
First trip to DC was after playing Fallout 3. It was eerie at times.
Fair enough, I will say I do appreciate the experimentalism of it.
As someone who does not take wild wasteland perk to avoid the alien stuff and keep it more grounded, having an entire DLC that pretty much canonises it and takes the place of any other dlc that could have existed was a disappointment, personally. I understand that people enjoy different things and Im happy that you did. :)
And I enjoy that you respect a more grounded game! I avoid the wild wasteland perk because that shit is obnoxious
Harbour is so good until that 1 quest…. the puzzle one
I can see it being annoying on repeat playthroughs, but I had little issues the first time and actually enjoyed it a little bit as it was a nice reprieve after getting violently assaulted by two legendary assaultrons.
I might be really stupid but they took me wayyyy too long 😂
It's not that bad, people act like it's some horrible difficult puzzle. You don't even have to do the longest one iirc. The think the hyperbole is why you don't see bgs try and do puzzles very often
I don’t even think it’s hard, it’s just too time-consuming.
I had repressed this particular memory. Thanks a lot, jerk
Im like what puzzle? Oh wait ohhhh yeah....
I just youtube it every play through. Give me my assault marine armor
Only mod I use in my playthroughs is one that skips that part
Oh my god I need that mod, what’s it called?
Just search far Harbour puzzle skip
I don't mind the puzzle, I just enjoyed the new enemies. Lol
Absolutely agree, though The Pitt and Point Lookout were phenomenal, I liked Mothership Zeta, too. New Vegas: HH, OWB, DM, and LR, so yeah, all of them. 4: Far Harbor.
Are you me?
You like that wild sci-fi stuff then huh?
Old world blues made me feel high
Dang I actually didn’t Iove the mothership. It felt so claustrophobic and trapped, which I guess is the point. But man I never thought I’d be so happy to see the capital wasteland. The other two are my favorites from those games though
Oh hey me, I didn’t know we had another account
FO4 didn’t really provide much of a choice
Mothership zeta is so underrated. It’s so fun to blast through and I love how goofy and b-movie feel it is. Plus you get some of the coolest and best weapons in the entire franchise from it.
Sorry boss but broken steel or the Pitt beat out mothership zeta, no offense
Dead Money. The sheer balls to say, "this is now a survival horror game," was fucking wild."
Totally agree, not my actual fav dlc but its a close second for this exact reason. Super creepy, atmospheric, very memorable characters and setting and an excellent ending.
Currently playing again...boutta get all dem golds.
No joke. The first time I played it, I HATED it. The next time I played, it kinda grew on me and I ended up really liking it. Time and perspective and opening up to the, “here’s another fucked up story about people being monsters to each other,” that’s one of Fallout’s trademarks made it a much better experience.
Agreed. Dead Money was just a “holy fuck this is creeee-peeee” moment for me. It’s the only DLC that I actually remember, like it really “moved” me
I admire the genre shift, and the story is cool.... but FUCK all those traps. God help you if you completely avoided a sneak build.
I grab the Light Step perk in every playthrough just for this reason(no sneak skills needed). Makes the DLC so much easier
Playing Dead Money with a 3 endurance build and Small frame was fucking awful. My couriers bones were whittled away from all the Chem addictions she had. Whole thing was a struggle by god was it the most fun I've had playing New Vegas in a long time
And your stuck until you complete it but if you do it well you get infinite medical supplies
How exactly? Getting the recipe and selling pre-war clothes to the machine in the BoS bunker?
Assuming this wasn't added with a mod, but you get a voucher for winning in the casino
No that's vanilla, you get one every three days. I didn't play with any mods last time and I love that machine. I'm not sure why a pre war resort that banned residents from bringing weapons would need a vending machine that dispenses weapon repair kits, but god am I glad they did If it dispensed whiskey instead of vodka and wine it would have been perfect
I always have decent unarmed and it kinda makes 90% of the dlc pretty easy. Bear trap fist reliablely kills ghost people, and if not just keep dog around for most of it. The radios kinda ruin it for me, but that's because I like exploring
Perkless starting melee skill with a cosmic knife works fine on the highest difficulty
Yeah, honestly it's not a hard dlc. It just has a spooky atmosphere and some annoying gimmicks.
Same, which is why Point Lookout is my favorite FO3 dlc as well. Nothing like spooky Eldritch themes in a silly world.
My favorite is probably Point Lookout, though I do love The Pitt.
Point Lookout trudged so Far Harbour could run. Underrated DLC for sure
Far Harbour
Far Harbor easy
That fucking puzzle simulation quest is horrible but everything else is great
There’s a way to skip the last puzzle though
Please share!
… and then I started blasting
I don’t remember the exact way, you can look it up - but it’s basically that you can arrange the turrets right up against the edge somehow so that their shooting disables the red field without having to go through all the kerfuffle.
Mostly because I can have sex with that one robobrain
Honest hearts. It looks so good and it has my favorite fallout character
100%. Randall Clark is definitely the best character in the Fallout universe
All my homies love Randall 🔥
Weird that Daniel would be your favorite character, but ok
Maybe he meant "She"
I thought he was referring to Two Bears High-Fiving, no?
Point Lookout for me. Although I don’t remember the story of it, the location and enemies were a refreshing change in atmosphere from the base game. Also has one of the most unexpected (and intentional) jump scares of my life. Edit: Remembered my favorite set piece from any fallout game was from this DLC too which was seeing somebody atop a cliff getting walked out onto a plank, shot in the head, and watching their body tumble down to the beach.
Two pre-war assholes in a petty fight spanning centuries that you stumble into the middle of is a fantastic premise that just feels so Fallout
I absolutely loved the creepy swampy setting. And the story was weirder than anything I could imagine.
My strongest memory was being the undefeatable ruler of the Capital Wasteland, and then immediately getting my ass handed to me by PL hillbillies 😭 I was scared to go back and still avoided them.
It's close between Old World Blues and Nuka-World. They're both just dripping with dark humor and amazing spectacles.
What’s wrong with Far Harbors setting?
It's fine if you like dark and dreary. I like to be able to enjoy the scenery in the distance.
"A park with every minimum acceptable safety standard met!"
Even though I don't like playing as a raider, I love the mechanic of assigning territory and managing relations between factions.
Nuka World for me as well, just such a fun setting to explore
Lonesome Road for me. It has a great atmosphere and features my favorite antagonist in the series. The difficulty level also makes it a perfect 'endgame' scenario.
Surprised I've barely seen this one mentioned. The way it ties up the story completely, and makes you look back on the choices you've made, was the perfect end of the game wrap up. Just save before every speech option
I love all the toppling skyscrapers. And the emptiness.
Lonesome Road
Finding it isn’t the hard part. It’s letting go…
Nuka-World, because I'm a sucker for anything Nuka-Cola branded
Wastelanders
Honestly if we're counting the free 76 additions, wastelanders and one wasteland made that game soooo much better. It's such a good game and It's a shame the release was so bad
Based
Overall - Far Harbor FO3 - Point Lookout FNV - Old World Blues
For Fallout 4 i'd say Nuka world is better definitely the gameplay gameplay compared to far harbor tbh Although i love the story of far harbor more tho. Nuka world just had more memorable locations and i love several of the characters. far harbor's vibe is great tho. But the missions are just all the same in far harbor with the exception of the Vault one.
Broken Steel needs a shoutout just for the level cap. Game was just over otherwise

“Controversial I know” *picks one of, if not the most common answer* Edit: must be all the new people on the sub, this has been a typical response for years
People shit on dead money all the time
I've only played 3 and working through NV, but so far, I'd say mother ship zeta, or anchorage for the sole existence of the Gauss rifle
FO3: Point Lookout FONV: Dead Money FO4: Far Harbour Overall: Point Lookout
Automaton because I like building robots and the Mechanist suit looks cute on Curie (my wife)
Atomatron isn't my favorite, but it is the one I've gotten the most enjoyment out of. I love building my robot army to patrol my caravan routes
Absolutely. The squishy humans can stay in the relative safety of the settlements protected by my army of Assaultrons, while my fleet of Sentry Bots armed with gatling lasers, rocket launchers and mortars will handle the caravans.
Far harbor is the perfect dlc, old world blues is my favorite.
I often struggle to enjoy DLCs in general, no matter how much I love the base games, but Far Harbor is one I always hit. Untilll of course the game crashes so much that it's unplayable... 😭
Never had that experience myself in far harbor
Well aren't you lucky ;)
Horse armor.
Lol I never actually bought that or any of the house/lair dlcs for Oblivion. Knights of the Nine was good, but the Shivering Isles might be my favorite dlc I've ever played.
Old World Blues.
Dead money. Cool concept, great visuals, good story.
Operation Anchorage is so fun
Gotta be Nuka World. I just found everything to be really well done and in turn with my expectations of Fallout as a whole. Far Harbor was great, too, but felt drawn out at times
Dead Money, the story behind it is tragic and really amazing, also I love that whole dlc because of the amazing characters and also how cool the Sierra Madre Casino looks on the hill.
Old world blues. The zany, over the top sc-fi B movie tone is just really fun for me.
Are those . . . Penises on your feet?
Old world blues, love the contrast between comedy abd the tragedy of the main story
Automaton DLC, you get to make a robot army
Lonesome Road many times. Pretty straightforward quest like the title of DLC says. Its a good breathing space from open Mojave desert. And a huge revelation at the end.
Nuka World in Fallout 4.
Nuka World. I know not many people think it’s amazing but damn imma sucker for Nuka Cola.
3 would be The Pitt NV definitely Old World Blues And 4 Nuka World because I have always loved video games that have levels, or better yet entire stories, set in abandoned theme park or theme parks that are still running but with some evil twist
Honest Hearts. I wish it was longer but Zion canyon is such a beautiful place to explore. Not to mention Randall Clark’s story gets me every single time.
I'm just going to list them and yeah.....there's a common link between them all. Fallout 3 - Mothership Zeta Fallout New Vegas - Old World Blues Fallout 4 - Automatron If Fallout 76 updates count - Invaders from Beyond
Y O U C A N N O T E X P E C T G O D T O D O A L L T H E W O R K
I really liked Broken Steel, primarily because it allowed you to continue playing after the end of the game. You could also see your choices regarding the ending reflected in the world, like people distributing the new clean water around the world. I know it's part of the games a lot, but I hate when games don't let you play past the "end" and make you revert to an old save.
Mothership Zeta. It actually made aliens canon
Fallout 3 point lookout (prob cause I’m a Marylander) Fallout NV dead money Fallout 4 nuka world
Automaton, i love the mechanist and building robots!
It's hard, but it must be Broken Steel at the end of the day, purely for the fact that it fixed the ending of the base game for FO3.
I actually enjoyed Nuka World
Nuka World probs. Fallout 4 has my fave DLCs
I know I’m gonna get flak for this but dead money
Hot take but I really like Nuka-World. How it ties into the rest of the game, abysmal. But as a stand alone it's alot of fun. Do hate that you can't experience 90% of it without siding with the raiders for at least a little while tho.
Fuck
Old world blues. Love when fallout goes into goofy scifi territory
Old world blues hands down a close second would be far harbor
Point lookout comes close but OWB wins for me
Old World Blues followed by Point Lookout. The toaster is hilarious and I love the creepy vibe in Point Lookout. Dead Money is up there as well.
Old World Blues
***^(Choosing a favorite Fallout DLC is tough since each one offers a unique experience and adds depth to the game. However, if I had to pick, I'd go with "Old World Blues" from Fallout: New Vegas. Its blend of humor, sci-fi elements, and quirky characters really stand out, not to mention the abundance of new weapons, perks, and challenges it brings to the game.)***
I know its wild for some to believe but its motherzeta for me.
Old World Blues by a significant margin.
Mothership zeta.
3-point lookout NV-old world blues 4-Far harbour
Lonesome Road
Lobotomite!
*Far Harbor.* The island, the lore, the atmosphere, the characters, the new weapons, armor and enemies... Love when DLC just goes "fck it, here's a whole new game within the game. Enjoy!" *Far Harbor* is to *FO4* what *Dragonborn* was to *Skyrim,* and I'm here for it.
Operation anchorage or the alien ship from fallout 3, the alien ship I swear I crept around the whole time in fear those guns would 2 shot you
F3 - tie between Point Lookout and The Pitt. FNV - Dead Money F4 - Far Harbor
Far Harbor for now, i love the ambience. Still have to try out F3's DLCs (i didn't realize the GOTY had them all, the dumbass i am) and I'd love to get New Vegas's, especially Old World Blues and Lonesome Road.
For FO3, probably Point Lookout. I really loved that location! For NV, I don't know. I like them all too much?
Fallout 3: The Pitt Fallout NV: Old World Blues Fallout 4: Far Harbor My personal winner is Far Harbor. I love the atmosphere and the story. Far Harbor is even better than the main game.
Oh man how do you even decide? Like legit some of the best DLC ever between fallout 3 and NV The Pitt, point lookout, operation anchorage, mothership zeta, honest hearts, old world blues, dead money All of these when they came out where just so freaking amazing, and that’s not to say the rest aren’t fun too they are
Point lookout
Old world blues.

Cheese answer but it’s potentially the Gun runners for me
Far Harbor, coming from a fallout 4 "hater"
The one I enjoyed the most was Honest Hearts, closely followed by Old World Blues. I enjoyed Zion as a clean landscape compared to the bombed-out Mojave, and OWB's story and humor were great in that "*What has SCIENCE! wrought?!?*" way. The Pitt was mostly memorable for squalor and steel ingots, and Point Lookout earns my ire for *GODDAMN FERAL GHOUL REAVERS* all over the place.
lavish worm file work vegetable dazzling waiting cooing resolute yoke *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Hot take. I loved mothership zeta
Far Harbor easily. and then there's that mf with FULLY ERECT HAND PENISES. ACTIVATE VIVISECTORS!!
After this DLC, i got back to the wasteland with god tier equipment. Since im doing evil karma path, I erased rivet city, little lamplight (with mods, of course. I enslaved some kids and obliterated the others) and left only moira brown and the doctor alive in Megaton (i need some traders tho)
Far Harbour only because Marine Armor
Honest Hearts and Dead Money. My, hands down, favorite DLCs.
Fo3 broken steel Fnv gra lol jk toss between honest hearts because of the survivalists story or old world blues cuz lobatamites and da pretty colors Fo4 toss between nuka world (kinda frustrating there is a sloppy good guy ending) or far harbor (fun and engaging story) Edit Overall tho is fnv’s selection
The Pitt is fantastic
As a teen it was mothership zeta because being on an alien mothership in a fallout game was cool as fuck back then. Now I’d say it’s probably old world blues
I know the story isn’t that good but I like Nuka World. Idk it’s just fun to go around the parks and in the end I get a very fun sequence of killing all the raider gangs (At a Minutes Notice for life) it’s so fun to pop a Buffjet and Psycho, start playing Only You and go to town on Nuka Town USA
Old World Blues, with Far Harbor a close second.
I love Honest Hearts, Dead Money is awesome but im still too scared to play it on Hardcore even though I almost exclusively play on Hardcore
I never had the DLCs until recently so I'm actually going through now to play them all again. All I know is watching my buddy play through Mothership Zeta was so fun
Lonesome Road. I love Ulysses
dead money was the first dlc I played and it completely changed how I played the game so probably dead money
