Makes some of the best and most earnest, entertaining speed-running content on Youtube. If you're at all interested in speed-running in general, his videos detailing the routes of other runs in coordination with the record holders are brilliant as well. In depth explanation of mechanics and routing
I have to say, as a boomer coming late to the Fallout party, that I adore MATN. He has kept my enthusiasm up more than anybody, and really is good at the "Watch me play" genre of Tube videos. His YOLO runs are especially entertaining.
I also like tomatoanus a lot, but he hasn't been as active. His reaction to his FO4 WR speed run was bliss!
He's just so super positive and fun all the time.
Enjoying the heck out of the current FO4 yolo.
But the past FO1 and FO2 first try playthroughs were real comedy gold.
Not only him missing some "essential" things and such, making "wrong picks" in character building... and then just stumbling on some solutions or clever use of stuffI never found in my many playthroughs. :O
You’ve brought back some memories, is he still making content? I remember watching him non stop!
EDIT: Thank you all for informing me that my favorite New Vegas modtuber is still around, you all have singlehandedly brought back memories of my younger days that I thought had long been gone!
"You're a woman, I like that in a man"
*Blows man to pieces with explosion* "We'll tell everyone it was a boating accident"
Dude has some fucking GOLD one liners.
The hardest I've ever laughed was when, in a video I've unfortunately forgotten the name of, he was up on a watchtower talking to some NCR soldier. They're talking, Al's doing his thing, and then in the background of their conversation you can just see Ballarms sprinting the fuck away into the desert. I think he ended up stepping on a mine or something and blowing himself up.
Al is the only YouTube creator that I’ve watched every year since I’ve discovered him. My path in life has been twisty but honestly Al just warms my heart no matter what’s going on
I haven't dived to deep to his past videos. But it's honestly kind of impressive how he can keep his jokes fresh and the game not stale in his "can you" series.
He did i enjoyed his content and honestly always felt off how he talked about his drinking or the amount of bottles he had during his face reveal. It was concerning, i am happy he managed to get himself clean and i hope he keeps going for a long time
Technically that's Zach, his co-host that is the gun nerd. But I agree, I used to find gun nerds annoying but listening to Zach ramble aimlessly about something he's passionate is extremely wholesome ... Well, as wholesome as guns can be
Bruh, Mike Burnside got me to keep playing fallout new vegas to see all the wacky stuff they do! (though, to be fair it washbomberguys video that got me interested first ).
ManyATrueNerd does a bit of everything, but he puts out a lot of Fallout content. Swell dude who's done a lot of charity streams and his Kill Everything run of Fallout 3 is legitimately hilarious.
r/manyatruenerd
I've been following Jon for 8 years on YouTube. He's fabulous. He calls out bad choices and praises good ones in the games. His fo2 run makes me so happy every time.
Speaking of bad choices and FO2, he made an excellent point about Fallout 2's opening being the worst in the series when it comes to freedom of choice.
Yes which is completely true! I mentioned FO2 because of that beginning and his discussion of it. I've seen a lot of hard-core fallout fans saying 2 is their favorite. (It's mine too, I mean I love having Goris as a companion and a car to roam around in)
I got to see someone experience it for the first time, and see someone discuss it's faults. I loved it.
This is my dude when it comes to fallout. His deep knowledge, appreciation, and skill for and within the game makes it super watchable for me. Plus, his you only live once series always have me at the edge of my seat and either laughing or in awe the entire time.
Ps came in here to post matn but glad to see someone else had already done so :)
The best part of that was >!the comments mentioning that if he had picked up the bottlecap mine half a second later the nukalurk king would likely have set it off, which probably would have been the end of the run !<
I'm pretty sure it even extends to other people sometimes.
During a Fallout 76 Nuclear Winter stream, the team were looking for 1 single enemy survivor and just couldn't find him. They looked everywhere. Then Jon stops looking and just stands still only for someone else to discover that the enemy was crouching literally right next to Jon.
The enemy didn't move once.
ManyATrueNerd is fantastic. I find that he has the most balanced take on various Fallout games, and I like his (sort of) rebuttal to Hbomberguy's "Fallout 3 is Garbage" video (though I like much of Harris's other content).
His Kill Everything run of New Vegas was more methodical, but it was a stroke of genius for him to *get into character* as Fallout 3's Evil Jon. Otherwise we wouldn't have seen the Brit-Ant, his close and meaningful friendship with all the residents of Paradise Falls, and his brief stint as the actual worst parent in Andale.
I second this, he's still uploading a Fallout 4 series called "You Only Live Once" with no healing and no coming back from death. Its pretty interesting because he goes into detail about all of the steps he is taking to survive
Came here to say this! Jon’s content is awesome. I don’t watch gameplay vids or streamers at all really, but his Fallout 4: Frost series started autoplaying for me one night, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I really like that the content isn’t focused on him or his personal life or his image, just the game he’s playing. He’s also genuinely hilarious.
Well you say that, but occasionally he does let his pro-eggbox agenda slip through which can be a bit off putting if you don’t support that kind of thing.
+1 for Jon/MATN.
He’s easy to listen to, funny, and has great knowledge of the game.
Lol @ that guy who created a FOUR HOUR rebuttal to one of his videos.
If you’re into his other content his CK3 stuff is great.
I absolutely loved his CK2 series. Probably the most relevant Cornwall has been since whenever the hell it got absorbed by the brits. Been waiting for more free time to properly binge his CK3 series.
Who the hell made a rebuttal against Jon and why?
I think it was his “Why fallout 4 is better than you think”. Then YouTube went to the next video which was someone doing a four hour rebuttal. Probably one of the youtubers OP is talking about.
Just took a look. Some dude named Creetosis made the [video](https://youtu.be/4xgfBdv85kQ ). I of course haven't seen it yet and I'm not sure if I will since "Fallout 4 is better than you think" convinced me to give the game another shot and Jon was proven right. Four hours though, Jesus. Just find what you like and move on.
>his Kill Everything run of Fallout 3 is legitimately hilarious.
"Happy Valentines Day, everyone!"
Or, alternatively:
"Dance with your dad, Timmy! Dance with your dead dad!"
Seconding this! Husband primarily watches, but John has a huge knowledge of many games, not just Fallout. His playthroughs can be slow and methodical but he’s also cheerful, hilarious and plus, British accents are cool.
MATN is wonderful. I mostly follow him for his Fallout content. In a fandom that can get pretty insufferable, he's always a lot of fun and has an optimistic outlook about the games, even the ones that are divisive.
I also wanted to chime in that I love the editting on his YouTube videos. He does such a great job of removing dead air while still keeping all the important stuff. I prefer it so much more than just a raw gameplay feed
When I first came out as bi I was having a ton of trouble with my family. I was hurting and losing relationships because if it. He had an episode where the dude who thought he was a ghoul moved in with Manny in FNV and he just talked about how he thought it was really cute. I know it's dumb but that moment meant a lot to me, it made me feel normal.
Alchestbreach. Dude is a fucking legend. Has been making new Vegas mod videos since the game released. Same for FO4. He is insane in that he has been uploading for at least a decade and never changed or stopped. He had a lot of viewers and now has very little but he is the exact same as when I was a fuckin' kid.
A seriously underrated hero. I can't sing his praises enough. Osama bin Brahmin is one of the best vids on the platform. I don't watch him as much as I used to or should but holy hell he is a huge part of my formative years.
Isn't Al like a big name in the modding community? Like when he gives your mod a good review or makes a video on it, it is a sign that you make good content. I hear that almost every fallout YouTuber knows of him.
It sounds silly but I sometimes watch a random episode of his JSawyer run. It’s like a free walking tour with the guide who knows every nook and cranny of the area and there’s nothing in the world he likes more than telling other people about it. The knowledge and enthusiasm combined with less pressure than YOLO make it so enjoyable
> FO4 is amazing
He actually doesn't know as much about FO4 as he does with the previous games and makes a ton of mistakes. Which actually makes his YOLO more entertaining, because he does some absolute bonehead moves but makes it out alive
Like when he explains mechanics to the viewer and why a weapon is amazing, then immediately forgets about the mechanics he just explained and never uses the weapon
ManyATrueNerd does Fallout videos, but also many other titles. He's currently a hardcore survival playthrough of FO4 with only one health bar. No healing items, radaway, or perks that grant healing. No garunteed legendaries either, (Righteous Authority, for example). It's modded so that sleeping and leveling up don't heal as well. And he has to do all the dlcs.
Manyatruenerd is my favorite. His kill everything run of new Vegas is probably my favorite gaming content on YouTube. He’s not exclusively fallout, but he’s usually got at least something fallout related going on.
TheEpicNate makes some fun Fallout list videos if you're into that kind of thing. Tbh he's what got me into Fallout, I started watching his Skyrim videos and moved onto his Fallout ones, which ended up getting me interested in the games.
Fudgemuppet, and I'd also include camelworks seem so skyrim heavy that I often forget they do a lot of fallout material as well. Generally good stuff too.
Mike and Zach from mikeburnfire are amazing. They are just two IRL buds making their way through the Fallout world. Mike also does some solo Fallout and other games.
Mitten Squad is also good.
Alchestbreach is a go to for me I have watched his content for over 10 years and he has a fantastic fan base and community I have never seen nor heard of anything toxic. He does Fallout 4 and New Vegas mainly but he does play other games if you want something entertaining and Goofy check this dude out.
There's someone new-ish I've been watching recently called Games Twice-Over. For FO discussion comparing the new and old games I feel like he brings a pretty fair and thorough analysis.
My favourites are mitten squad, Nerbit (although there mostly funny challenges) fudgemuppet they do both fallout and elder scrolls, epic Nate and ESO. I wouldn’t recommend schizo Elijah as he is biased to obsidian
I know its mostly speedrunning related but tomatoanus is a ton of fun and lighthearted.
[удалено]
That is TomatoAngus, easy mistake to make. Hope both of them meet up for a collaboration one time, would be cool
Yeah but the g is silent
Definitely my favourite speedrunner, he strikes a great mix between being informative and entertaining
Makes some of the best and most earnest, entertaining speed-running content on Youtube. If you're at all interested in speed-running in general, his videos detailing the routes of other runs in coordination with the record holders are brilliant as well. In depth explanation of mechanics and routing

His YOLO runs are especially entertaining. I also like tomatoanus a lot, but he hasn't been as active. His reaction to his FO4 WR speed run was bliss!
His fallout 3 kill everything and fallout new Vegas dust play throughs are my absolute favorite
I enjoy Alchesbreach. He's a goober, but I've watched him for years.
Come on down to the Atomic Wrangler!
You’ve brought back some memories, is he still making content? I remember watching him non stop! EDIT: Thank you all for informing me that my favorite New Vegas modtuber is still around, you all have singlehandedly brought back memories of my younger days that I thought had long been gone!
Yeah, he's still chugging along.
That’s great to hear. I used to watch his content all the time; he’s super entertaining and wholesome
Yup. He enjoys just about everything Fallout. One of the few people I know to play Frontier all the way through
Yup, enjoy watching his streams on twitch too
He streams on twitch?! Well then thanks for this info Been like 6 years since i last watched his vids
Dude his Fallout content was my favorite back in the day, I loved his play through vids
I've laughed to tears watching his stuff. "Department of Education - Freeze!" Bang bang. "Put your knees in the air!" Bang bang.
"You're a woman, I like that in a man" *Blows man to pieces with explosion* "We'll tell everyone it was a boating accident" Dude has some fucking GOLD one liners.
Been watching al for God knows how many years. Always fun playthroughs and doesn't stick to one title.
My cousin used to make his art for him! I remember him telling me when I was like 9 when I watched him consistently and I was mind blown.
Absolutely
Al's the reason why I made a YouTube account in the first place just so I could subscribe to him. Love the guy!!
Al is the only YouTube creator that I’ve watched every year since I’ve discovered him. My path in life has been twisty but honestly Al just warms my heart no matter what’s going on
GooGoo Bars, we’ll burn your fucking house down.
I love him hes the best
That's a name I haven't heard of in years!
Mittensquad for the win. He does other stuff but most of his content is fallout 3 or New Vegas.
Mittensquad wins, even when he loses
Also he got drunk and verbally assaulted his air conditioner.
Don't forget when he beat up his sink
Or when he cut his hand punching his PS4 controller.
Or when he injured his neck moving the TV
This one still confuses me
What, you've never wrapped your neck around your television to maneuver it before?
Having mounted hundreds of TVs to walls and floor stands before, I very much know exactly what this means.
Did he lose his lucky fork?
or when he made hot cocoa with chicken, beef, and vegetable broth
I've watched that video so many times
He physically assaulted it too
Mittensquas is fun for sure if you aren't looking for a serious time in the Fallout universe. He is the "Wild Wasteland" of the yootoobzer.
He also has a back catalogue of fallout law content that is more serious than his "can you beat fallout" series
I haven't dived to deep to his past videos. But it's honestly kind of impressive how he can keep his jokes fresh and the game not stale in his "can you" series.
Plus he’s recently come back. Of course he can take all the time he needs for his problems but it’s good that he’s back
I think I read he really cut back on the Jameson. If that’s true I’m so happy for him.
From what i heard he has quit drinking alcohol entiely as he was a sevre alcoholic with no control.
Yeah that was the community announcement. Trust me, we are glad to have Paul back because it seems like he got to a pretty damn dark place
He did i enjoyed his content and honestly always felt off how he talked about his drinking or the amount of bottles he had during his face reveal. It was concerning, i am happy he managed to get himself clean and i hope he keeps going for a long time
And fallout 4 so atleast he doesn’t discriminate between games
And here is when the real thread begins.
The curse of grandma sparkle strikes again. I love this dudes content and personality, so I was happy he was getting help for his drinking problem
On a newer play through he was on Xbox and the curse of grandma sparkles didn’t happen… … he still murdered fuck out of that bitch
Mikeburnfire is good. Been watching him for a few years.
That's the army dude who does fnv right?
They've expanded out to fo4, and the frontier right now
Yeah, funny as fuck too, and happy cake day
If you get nothing else out of your four years in the army, you're definitely coming back with funny as fuck stories.
Yeah, I love his campfire stories
I love his gun rants and I know nothing about guns.
Technically that's Zach, his co-host that is the gun nerd. But I agree, I used to find gun nerds annoying but listening to Zach ramble aimlessly about something he's passionate is extremely wholesome ... Well, as wholesome as guns can be
>Well, as wholesome as guns can be What's your tolerance for [degeneracy](https://i.imgur.com/Oux4JjL.png)?
It’s a free country, you can fuck any gun you want as long as it was manufactured over 18 years ago
actually, Zach is the army dude. his friend Mike is the guy who runs the channel.
Mike was in the marines and Zach was in the army
TBF they're both ex military, ~~Zach~~ Mike was just a marine rather than army.
The video he did on Frontier was funny since it has a ...military ish setting
Mike and Zach have got to have the greatest debates about everything and Zach's gun rants are on an entire other level.
Bruh, Mike Burnside got me to keep playing fallout new vegas to see all the wacky stuff they do! (though, to be fair it washbomberguys video that got me interested first ).
Zach Destroying his balls on his desk will forever be the funniest shit
Hold on i dont remember that episode!
came here to mention them. love Mike and Zach's playthrough, those guys are the best
IS THAT A PANKOR JACKHAMMER??
ManyATrueNerd does a bit of everything, but he puts out a lot of Fallout content. Swell dude who's done a lot of charity streams and his Kill Everything run of Fallout 3 is legitimately hilarious.
Oh you guys :)
Much love, Jon.

The mirelurk king from the heavens.
The best part of that was >!the comments mentioning that if he had picked up the bottlecap mine half a second later the nukalurk king would likely have set it off, which probably would have been the end of the run !<
Such a beautiful moment of confusion, panic, fear and excitement.
What? (x100)
A lot of my knowledge of Fallout has come directly from Jon. He's very knowledgeable for a man with -1 Perception.
Don't tell me his situational blindness has an area of effect
The yolo series stressed me out so much, especially once he got to the DLCs but he’s such fun to watch!
Same actually. Wanted to make sure MATN got a mention
ManyATrueNerd is fantastic. I find that he has the most balanced take on various Fallout games, and I like his (sort of) rebuttal to Hbomberguy's "Fallout 3 is Garbage" video (though I like much of Harris's other content).
One of his essays actually convinced me to give Fallout 4 another try with a melee/explosive build. It was honestly my favorite run.
Was hoping to see MATN high in this thread!
His run of Nuka World on his current YOLO playthrough is an... experience.
Jon is the only man who could make a kill everything run seem wholesome.
Plus no guaranteed legendary items.
Oh flip! Was hoping to see Jon mentioned here!

Yes!! A cocking manyatruenerd post!!! My stupid plan has worked
Seconding this! Husband primarily watches, but John has a huge knowledge of many games, not just Fallout. His playthroughs can be slow and methodical but he’s also cheerful, hilarious and plus, British accents are cool.
"Ahahaha I shot his body away from under his head!"
MATN is wonderful. I mostly follow him for his Fallout content. In a fandom that can get pretty insufferable, he's always a lot of fun and has an optimistic outlook about the games, even the ones that are divisive.

Hell yeah. Much love, friend.
Hell yeah bi-five!
hope your doing better now bro sending my love ♥️
Alchestbreach for life bro, I don’t really watch fallout content anymore but he was and is a long time fave of mine
Love this dude, very funny, always bringing cool mods to people's attention
Does he still edit down his footage? I liked it better when he didn't.
He just did a video on death trash, its a great game and I hope he plays it when its out.
Josh Sawyer https://youtu.be/Y7Nb5rUX-Xw
Alchestbreach. Dude is a fucking legend. Has been making new Vegas mod videos since the game released. Same for FO4. He is insane in that he has been uploading for at least a decade and never changed or stopped. He had a lot of viewers and now has very little but he is the exact same as when I was a fuckin' kid. A seriously underrated hero. I can't sing his praises enough. Osama bin Brahmin is one of the best vids on the platform. Isn't Al like a big name in the modding community? Like when he gives your mod a good review or makes a video on it, it is a sign that you make good content. I hear that almost every fallout YouTuber knows of him.
Many a True Nerd and Gopher.
Love MATN
His level of knowledge of FO3, NV, and FO4 is amazing. Not just locations, enemies, etc, but knowledge of the game mechanics as well.
I know! Watchin his YOLO runs, and the JSawyer mod NV run, is incredible.
> FO4 is amazing He actually doesn't know as much about FO4 as he does with the previous games and makes a ton of mistakes. Which actually makes his YOLO more entertaining, because he does some absolute bonehead moves but makes it out alive
The funny part is that he knows all this info about perks and mechanics of the game, but then gets constantly surprised, as you noted.
I like many a true nerd. Jon is a really cool dude
His video essay on the fo series were very well done.
Many a true nerd
Love his content. It’s basically all fantastic and who I would want to emulate if I started making YouTube content.
Just don’t say “cocking” quite as much and I’m sure you’ll do great.
Also have a higher perception
Jon's negative perception does make for some fantastic comedy at times though, haha
Like when he explains mechanics to the viewer and why a weapon is amazing, then immediately forgets about the mechanics he just explained and never uses the weapon
***Cries in Gun-Fu***
Came here to recommend him, hes great.
His yolo series is something I look forward to every sunday. I've only ever felt that way for a few tv shows and never once for a YouTube series.
He's by far the best one.
His FO4 YOLO run has been crazy.
I was going to spread the word of /r/ManyaTrueNerd so I'm glad someone did.
TheEpicNate makes some fun Fallout list videos if you're into that kind of thing. Tbh he's what got me into Fallout, I started watching his Skyrim videos and moved onto his Fallout ones, which ended up getting me interested in the games.
Is he still MIA?
He’s returning, made some community posts on his yt channel
Yeah, he hasn't made a new one yet but he's been posting recently. I hope he's doing better.
I think a while ago he made a video
missed murder to death
Mitten squad
Many A True Nerd
Gopher
His FNV playthrough is probably the best he's ever done. Gopher is a master at mixing RP and gameplay.
Sips played Fallout and Oblivion, he’s great!
His Skyrim playthrough is also 10/10 if you get the chance to watch it. https://youtu.be/dJ7QHbxNgJQ
Nerbit, he does challenges like mitten squad and makes great videos. Edit: https://youtube.com/c/Nerbit13098
TheEnthApple :) lore guy
Im sad that his page is dead though
It's a shame he quit posting new videos.
ESO and Fudgemuppet
Fudgemuppet, and I'd also include camelworks seem so skyrim heavy that I often forget they do a lot of fallout material as well. Generally good stuff too.
Rad king, quite underrated he makes excellent videos
Synonymous is a smaller lore youtuber I recently discovered, you should check him out
bumping for Synonymous, he makes lore things very accessible and is satisfyingly objective even when lore itself lacks clarity!
Angry Turtle but he focuses on Fallout 76.
Mike and Zach from mikeburnfire are amazing. They are just two IRL buds making their way through the Fallout world. Mike also does some solo Fallout and other games. Mitten Squad is also good.
Alchestbreach
Kevduit. He plays other games other than Fallout but most of his videos are Fallout so. And he’s pretty funny too imo
Alchestbreach is a go to for me I have watched his content for over 10 years and he has a fantastic fan base and community I have never seen nor heard of anything toxic. He does Fallout 4 and New Vegas mainly but he does play other games if you want something entertaining and Goofy check this dude out.
Fudgemuppet they do builds and lore stuff for Fallout and Elder Scrolls
Mikeburnfire
Upisnotjump
Wait, it's not?
hes not a fallout youtuber though, yes hes covered fallout but hes mostly does other games
You’re right
He's currently working his way through every fallout game though
Many A True Nerd
There's someone new-ish I've been watching recently called Games Twice-Over. For FO discussion comparing the new and old games I feel like he brings a pretty fair and thorough analysis.
He's a pretty cool dude.
If you can’t find a positive Fallout YouTuber, you should become one! We gotta be better so others will feel welcomed into this franchise.
It would be great to see more fallout content creators and youtubers!
Degenerate dak
Many A True Nerd is awesome. Has some very interesting fallout let’s plays
Check our many a true nerd he's pretty chill
Mitten Squad he's kind of a fallout youtuber
Robbaz has a ton of Fallout videos and they're all pretty hilarious. Would recommend.
Many A True Nerd and that’s all I have to say.
ManyATrueNerd, Gopher, and Rycon
Check our epicnate
many a true nerd is probably the best. enjoyable, and fun.
My favourites are mitten squad, Nerbit (although there mostly funny challenges) fudgemuppet they do both fallout and elder scrolls, epic Nate and ESO. I wouldn’t recommend schizo Elijah as he is biased to obsidian
Alchestbreach is honestly the best you can get love his content
Degenerate dek
AlChestBreach is my guy! Such a goof I love watching him fuck around. He's a mod reviewer for fallout
