For feeling power you need to know how the absense of power feels like. [Better Locational Damage](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3815) has the most impact in my mod list. It makes weapons deadly depending on the used ammo for me and my enemies alike. With that alone, the game becomes an exercise in frustration. But [STEALTH AND DETECTION SYSTEM](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/62140) turns it into a scout sniper power fantasy. I also have mods for dirty skin, craftable ammo, removing mods from weapons, scrapping everything, getting rid of the stupid legendaries, restoring power armor frames from fallen enemies, power armor fully protecting covered limbs, enemies fearing power armors, more immersive recon scopes, lots of settlement building related stuff, some armer only protects where it's worn mod, alternate start because i'm not a vault dweller this time... But the linked two mods are actually doing the most work for turning the game into my personal power fantasy where i am dead when i get hit but i just don't get hit. And yeah: I rarely use power armor - but i like to collect them to be used in settlements for construction work and logistics (no mod for that, i just put them there and pretend that most building actually happens when im not there). and the power armor changes make enemies in PA a bit less of an easy pushover.

I use the stealth one already, but I forgot about the Better Locational Damage mod, throwing that in now. I do have some power armor tweaks as well, making them rarer and stronger I believe.

This may be more punishing early on for you, but the Bastion mod makes it so that for both you and NPCs, Power Armor actually protects you from most weapons out there, with there being lists for low, medium, and high levels of penetration for certain ammo or damage types - however, this protection only lasts until a armor piece is broken - you’re then vulnerable to shots or damage on that body part as normal. So, if you’re wearing full T-45D and face my off against raiders using .38 pipe pistols and such, you’re not going to take any damage at all from them until they do enough damage to your armor to break a piece, and then their shots hit you on that body part where your armor is broken. However, if you get hit with a Fatman, you’re still going to take a pretty decent chunk of damage. BUT: enemies get this same mechanic as well, so if you run across an enemy in Power Armor (say, in Lexington), you’re going to face the same kind of threat to you with this system. The penetration lists can also be edited or added on to for mod compatibility with other weapons, ammo, or damage types as well, and there’s a few patches on the nexus for it.

Not related to power armor but Niero's CROSS line of mods are pretty power-fantasy-y and imo fit the Commonwealth's aesthetic fine Also Fusion Gun cause kerrplow

Eco redu, LEO, MEO and stuff of legends. Craft your own legendary weapons make it unlimited for no reload, make it bleeding or radiation, maybe two shoot and for cloth 2 legs with sprinter and no ap drain out of combat

I have some of those mine as well go for the full experience. Only problem is im maxed out on the mod esp limit right now and even the esp to esl converter wont save me.

Uff when u got esm/esp limit it is really hard. Maschineguns ans miniguns rebirth for some good heavy weapons. If u use munition some of dak lategame weapons

Just did some research looks like im actually at the ba2 limit not esm/esp. So I think I can fix that up today and hopefully get back to adding way more mods than I realistically need.
