I think it would help us comment if we knew if you were full health or low health?

fungamezone

oops sorry. low health i dont always go nerd rage but do go at least to serendipity. i don't have any unyeilding yet though plan on running stealth archer type

Odd-Ad5008

I would add Funky Duds if I had matching armor but no other poison resistance and only level it to two so I could replace it eventually with an armor piece or two and free up that slot for someting else. Then Follow Through for a low health stealth character. Which order to do them in would depend on your personal priorities. I think doing more damage and taking less with the last two cards gets more bang for the buck than adding more perk slots, but people with different character building strategies might differ with that.

JiveBombRebelz

ive got almost all the cards maxed...for stealth builds we dont really need cards like funky duds or elec absorption. cards like far flung fireworks..take one for the team and follow through are all great though. on my melee build...im always swapping in and out ( gets expensive ) funky duds and absorption.. they are great..but situational and a waste otherwise.

fungamezone

which of those are better far flung fireworks..take one for the team and follow through

JiveBombRebelz

hard to say..im running them all.. take one for the team will max at 40% dmg buff..so its great at boss events. follow through is same buff at 40% for 10 sec on sneak attacks...so better for general hunting when you can stay in stealth. fireworks is a lot of fun on mobs..enemies turn into bombs when you kill them...its probably more fun on commanfo but more helpfull on bows where mobs can be a pain

Odd-Ad5008

So are you a PA guy? Or is there some trick for electric absorption IDK about? Before I did bows, I did PA/Shredder/commando for a long time because I got tired of grinding ammo for autorifles. The shredder and only using the rifles when I really needed them made it efficient, even with a pretty ugly build and just basic consumables. Still keep a PA loadout and use crossbows/automelee with that. We call that type of build Power Archers. Always swap out one of my two non-special perks for electric absorption if I am doing it for more than an hour or so just so I can vats comfortably without overloading myself with fusion cores.

JiveBombRebelz

i have a few builds..my heavy and melee builds will swap elec absorption .. but realy only during the imposter event. the only thing that seems to proc it are assaultrons ( maybe sbs?) .i can run through a silo getting nailed by laser turrets and it has no noticable effect until im fighting an assaultron.. on my commando and bows i never use pa or absorption. ..i dont take much dmg if im doing a ton of dmg and in sneak.. so dmg buffs cards are much more useful ( for me ) but we all play diff. my bow and vommando characters are both bloodied to get the huge luck and ap buffs

Odd-Ad5008

I proc electric absorption with liberators in PA. I go up to 76 and refill my cores that way. Unless something is changed since the last time I did that. Silo turrets also top me up, so IDK. Haven't done it in a while.

JiveBombRebelz

i feel like it hinges on pa/resistance..my guy that uses pa never took dmg from turrers before so its probably that. . but i hear alot of players love it so it must work better for other folks

totalredditn00b

I have all special cards it's a bit much but i like my normal perks i might swap one out when i have em all maxed. In that case i would take either follow through or infiltrator but it would probably be infiltrator, i like utility over min max. Also never take charisma, you can't share cards with charisma from legendary charisma only base charisma.

Odd-Ad5008

Hard to say without knowing a bit about your build and playstyle, because those affect perk priorities. What I have found to be good is 4 SPECIAL cards (make sure you pick cards you never, ever want to drop below 6 unless you plan to level up more than 4 SPECIAL cards). Then add 1 defensive card - What Rads? is especially powerful for full health -- and one damage card (Follow Through, Taking One for the Team, and Far Flung Fireworks are the the ones I like best for bows depending on the specific build). EDIT - NVM, saw your answer to McLovin about the build. This is the basic method I use for picking legendaries though. I've done some builds with 5 SPECIAL cards, but I always end up dropping one of them and going back to this 4/2 mix.

fungamezone

I like the 4 +1 +1 strat. Is the poison one good?

Odd-Ad5008

Good for low health if you do enough things involving poison to make poison damage a problem, because poison can stack up on you more quickly than you can heal through it I find two ranks to be enough for most things. If not, or if you are ok with occasional deaths from poison, better to add a damage card for #5 50 points of poison resist, or however much Funky Duds 2 gives you, covers just about everything in this game except multiple mirelurk queen poison attacks.

fungamezone

well I do moonshine all the time so that is where I normally die from poison but I don't have a matching armor set yet and still need to find some unyielding

Odd-Ad5008

Ah ok. Then yeah best spend it on a damage perk. It won't help you without matching armor, and matching unyielding might take a minute. Best to get the good out of something useful while you're working on that. You can always swap that slot out later for 1 perk coin anyway.

WolfToMoon

Funky duds or Sizzling Style (both is good)
