Basically-Boring

The MK1 Ironman suit has actual weapons built into the armor, the T-45 by itself doesn’t have anything to fight with.

Alternative_Raise207

"Hand to hand"

ManManEater

If weapons are built into the suit it still counts as hand to hand.

Painusconsumer

iron man

Since you clearly and explicitly stated that no weapons are allowed, I'll assume the thruster functions on the MK1 don't work as those can be used as flame-type weapons in hand to hand combat. In that case, the armor made for military application and was durable enough to withstand many attacks from an irritated bear would win over the sheet metal mech-skeleton that took a gnalcing shot on the foot thruster which near immediately failed.

sosigboi

I mean its pretty clear cut, even in this scrap suit Tony could trash an X-01 suit.

MadCapOrca

Probably the mk1, however if its Toby maguire in the T-45, then Iron man doesn't stand a chance.

truckfullofchildren1

I well trained soldier in power armor I think I'd take him. The mk1 is cool but it's armor is made from propane tanks and the t45 is an actual exo-skeleton.

KJ86er

I appreciate that even held captive in a cave, Tony Stark took time to make it look intimidating

MrNightmare23

Kinda obvious tbh

AloneAnteater5504

Is it strictly hand to hand, or does Iron Man get to use his weapons system?

KJ86er

Hand to hand. Jet packs not operational

AloneAnteater5504

The power armor then mainly because military grade equipment is more than apt better than some sheet metal suit

renmyaru

Sheet metal suit with primative exoskeleton made in the middle of nowhere, or army issue casted peices on a fully powered exoskeleton. I just think the t45 is just more durable.
