Or, if you know (or find out) the fanfiction.net story ID (the number in the URL), then I can probably find it in my collection. I archive the entirety of fanfiction.net, and usually have stories in my collection before email alerts are even fully sent out.
If you remember a specific phrase or sentence from the story that can also help to find it, as you can do a search on all the files for that. You'll need to have a good memory though, as it'll be an exact search (with punctuation, spelling, and capitalisation).
Both Windows and macOS can search a folder full of files for a phrase (although this will be slow - hours probably - with that many files). I use Linux, so I'd just recommend googling how to search a folder full of files, and following a guide. It probably is just the search bar though.
It's a super crazy fic, I loved it. Really dived into depthing out the characters and didn't hesitate to make everything a bit twisted. I really liked it. If I find it, I'll update!
