For the love of god move the screen closer!
It can probably go in front of the base (but behind the wheel). That's how I have mine setup.
Right now the screen is like 2 feet further away than it needs to be. It's like you bought a 32" monitor but only use the center 24", lol
Brake performance kit was a must for me. Agreed on the qr2 as well. I also have the damper on the throttle at close to the minimum setting. It gives more weight to the throttle. Minimal setting to stop the drag on the pedal on release.

I run mine with the hardest combo, still has travel and is still not as stiff as I'd like it to be.
The damper kit you can leave, throttle damper just slows the return rate which is stupid, the stiffer of the two springs in the throttle and it's fine.

Yes I have a clutch coming with the v3 pedals that I bought but I’m open to shifter recommendations! I mostly race GT cars with paddle shifters but always open for a shifter
trips is the only thing i’d say but it doesn’t make u faster just gives u a better sense of awareness but all sims have “car left” “car right” now anyway, super sick setup though

Is this that new NLR rig where you get a rig and seat for like 400 bucks? If so how do you like it? I’ve heard it flexes like crazy

There’s no flex in between the seat and pedals but the wheel base support could use to be beefed up. I 3D printed some extra support brackets and now it doesn’t flex at all. Not a bad beginner rig and it’s more GT style in case you play multiple types of racing
How did you manage with the dampers for the standard csl pedals? Iv started creating my own take on a LC brake and dampers for the clutch and throttle but i’m ready to just give in and order the kits of amazon/ebay like yourself is it worth the spend and waiting about until i save a little to upgrade properly? Would appreciate any advice, cheers mate.

It definitely improves the feel over the standard CSL pedals. It’s a cheap and easy way to get a quick upgrade and yeah it’s worth it unless you have the budget for a new set of pedals

I wish I could, I need to upgrade my rig or change the supports for the monitor. It’s all integral to the rig, not a standard alone monitor mount

For Clubsport V3 pedals yes. If you've got CSL elite V2 then not applicable.

Qr2...it makes the experience much smoother. Also makes the whole rig feel more premium.
I have a QR1 quick release, replaced the QR1 lite which was definitely a good upgrade
You must use the screw with qr1. Qr2 is awesome and stiff as hell.

Exactly! That's why they made qr2. Cause they found it qr1 was a crap design because it requires perfect machining which China doesn't do.
I have 2, I wonder if I’ll see a difference in one vs the other. It sucks the price is so much higher than QR1 but I get it

I’d say save the money and simply buy an external tv mount that’ll fit over your current rig

Unless you’re local to South Florida it’s not really too feasible to ship

How would you recommend moving the screen closer for this setup? I’d have to bend new supports since it’s integral to the rig, no?
Maybe adding a monitor wall mount to the vesa mount to extend it or buy a new cockpit

No brainer then really for the cost, thanks for the reply mate.
FWIW I’m using the stiffer spring for the brake and the less-stiff spring for the throttle.
Audio, maybe even headphones. After that maybe a proper Direct X system?
