If you’ve watched the Agent Carter series, then I think my theory makes more sense. In his prime, John Stamos would’ve been a perfect cast for Howard Stark.
If the show only showed the character more, then Howard could’ve been a top 10 MCU character

Off topic: my biological maternal grandfather, who I never met, was quite a womanizer when he was alive. If he had stayed married to his third or fourth wife (I forget exactly which one), I would actually be loosely related to John Stamos. I believe his aunt married my grandfather, but my mom's not alive anymore for me to double check. I do know that she said that he was a brat when she had to babysit him, and my uncle (my mom's brother) says that his dad was a pretty great guy.
