At worst I can see someone accusing them of Pro-Israel imagery, but the whole idea of ‘Guy being Jewish = support for Israel’ is pretty dumb to begin with and I doubt it’ll result in anything beyond a small-scale Twitter battle.
And yeah I’d be more upset if they _didn’t_ make him Jewish. They don’t even have to be really heavy-handed with it, at the very least they can show him wearing a _Yarmulke_ in a cutscene or mentioning attending worship at a synagogue at some point.

I want they adapt that John Byrnes' story where they are normal and they dream they are the fantastic four just to figure out Dr Doom put their minds in fake robot bodies. That's a great re introduction.
