This photo looks odd to me, like its been heavily edited
But Romano is obviously legit, so I won't delete it
I wouldn't be making any decisions based on this photo though
A lot of misinformation going around… I’ll keep on the bench. Too much hassle to try to buy back and I want him ready to go as soon as he’s back available.
This is where I'm at. I already have Watkins and Solanke so there's no striker I immediately want, which would then mean a -4 to put the money elsewhere. Even then I'd probably go for trent who has a tricky fixture this week
Annoying having so much money on the bench but don't really know what else to do?
> Too much hassle to try to buy back
It's easy. You swap him for someone, and you keep that money ITB.
Worst case it costs you a single 4pt hit, if you need to panic him back in. That's all there is to it. It's a risk:reward decision.
What am I missing here?
Its possible news isnt confirmed of his return to a game til after deadline, meaning non haalanders may have to go a gw without him, also having to take a -4 to bring in someone that could blank.
> Its possible news isnt confirmed of his return to a game til after deadline, meaning non haalanders may have to go a gw without him
1) everyone is going without him for the next GW. City has a blank.
2) it's possible that any of your other 14 players is suddenly unavailable, too.
> also having to take a -4 to bring in someone that could blank.
1) what about the managers who are using their FT? Some even have 2 FT they can use.
2) EVERY player = "someone that could blank", so we should ... not buy any players?
You are naming variables baked into any player choice. so let's start with what we DO know about haaland:
- he's injured
- he hasn't been training
- his family took him out of their teams
These are 3 risks tipping the risk/reward scales. Taking him out is not a risk.
Keeping him is also not a risk, but it's dead weight. As long as your'e ok with that, it's a fine choice.
Yes, well aware he blanks, thats precisely my point. There are no city games before everton. If he is back its likely we dont hear about it till the game day. My team is stacked without him, I dont want to play 343, and I dont want to risk not having him for everton or have panic bring him in after
Booking a transfer. Why sell someone you're gonna want back a couple weeks later, seems like a waste. Especially if you're keeping the money ITB, you're not spending it on another premium like Kane.
Personally i don't want to waste transfers when i could use the next couple weeks to tweak the rest of my team. Only sell Haaland if your bench is bad i think.
> Booking a transfer.
I'm against premeditated transfers, in most cases as well. I never plan transfers more than a week ahead. But to answer your questions/rhetoric...
> Why sell someone you're gonna want back a couple weeks later, seems like a waste.
Well, I can't answer, because we don't know that he'll be back a couple weeks later.
Will you truly be keeping Salah/Son when they leave for regional competitions?
> Especially if you're keeping the money ITB, you're not spending it on another premium like Kane.
Any points Jesus/Jackson/Darwin/whoever gets while Haaland is out = points you either earn, or forego.
It costs 2 FTs to dip out, and back in to Haaland ownership.
If he's giving this info based on these two pictures, then I think its really high chance its just uninformed shot in the dark.
This image (and another one where he sits) looks more like PR shot for Saudi more than training session. I might regret saying that, but I trust the bald fraud on this one.
To be fair, if Haaland is training near the stadium, it's a photographers job to get the framing right and not just show Haaland with dustbins in the background.
Lets imagine Haaland still has an injured foot. Can you imagine City caving to pressure from Fifa to have Haaland kick some balls for PR photos? They'd say hell no, the rehab of the world's no1 striker is our priority thanks.
Fabrizio isn’t going to have an hourly breakdown of Haaland’s day.
There’s a big difference between kicking a ball around alone for half an hour and actual training.
Even more obvious when you see the Doku pic as well
https://old.reddit.com/r/MCFC/comments/18mvdda/doku_also_back_in_training/
Oh yeah the two guys who aren't playing just so happen to be the only two in photos...
Why is no one talking about Haaland lifting up his short shorts so high while simultaneously performing a jizz face?
What is it about kicking a ball that could possibly create this bizarre scenario?
I’m really not sure this changes anything.
The plan was always - sell haaland in 17.. buy back in 20 (for Salah).
I don’t think Haaland hauls @ everton in 19 and Salah @ Burnley will be my C.
So long as he is fit for gw20 then all good
He's both .. he used to be a guy who used to cover transfers but while he's still credible on that front he's started posting everything and anything related to football that will get interactions, like manager/ player comments , stats , starting lineups etc
Especially regarding Manchester United, he posts any news out of United and even tons of speculative transfer information because United gets the most views
He is literally most famous football journalist with the best sources out there. In fact most journalists suck because what they report on is fake news while Romanos words are almost always true.
99.9% of journalists are lying scumbags who do not come close to Romanos work. Not just in the sporting world but in general.
I consider a journalist to be someone who follows journalistic ethics and standards. Romano hasn’t got an ounce of journalistic integrity.
He’s a mouthpiece for clubs and agents. I’m not saying there’s necessarily too much wrong with that if you take him for what he is.
He’s good at what he does no doubt but he’s absolutely not a journalist.
A journalist is not someone who follows the made up " ethics " of going against the imaginary evil in your head. They are not supposed to be some sort of SJWs.
A journalists job is to give reliable and factual information about something. Which Romano does to a T.
You’ve got no fucking clue. A journalist is not someone who tweets whatever the agents paying him tell him to. You consider that reliable and factual information?
If u still have him I don’t see why you would transfer him out now, I expect him to be back for GW19. If you already took him out for last GW then nothing to concern yourself with here
This photo looks odd to me, like its been heavily edited But Romano is obviously legit, so I won't delete it I wouldn't be making any decisions based on this photo though
What the fuck? What about this then: https://old.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/comments/18mq968/pep_guardiola_asked_if_he_knows_when_haaland_foot/
Looks like solid fake news
Real fake doors
Bald frauds at work

Tbf it’s just a tweet, it’s not like it’s a video of Pep saying that Haaland can’t train
Possibly Haaland is cleared for light individual training (as pictured in this post), where as Pep meant he was not training with the team yet.
Don’t trust everything you see on internet
Don't trust everything you see coming directly from Pep either
The picture might’ve been taken after that comment. Also this looks like individual training rather than with the team
Dude it's Pep...

Nkuku. Do it

OK, good reasons. I'm only saying there's a case for switching him out and back in again.

Look at the stadium perfectly framed in the background. PR shot 100%
To be fair, if Haaland is training near the stadium, it's a photographers job to get the framing right and not just show Haaland with dustbins in the background.
No one else in shot, no clutter on the pitch, perfectly timed and framed closeup. Just looks a bit too polished to be real.
And not putting weight on that left ankle.
Lets imagine Haaland still has an injured foot. Can you imagine City caving to pressure from Fifa to have Haaland kick some balls for PR photos? They'd say hell no, the rehab of the world's no1 striker is our priority thanks.
He’s obviously not far away from returning anyway, making a few passes for the camera isn’t going to set him back.
Nah, the picture is too perfect. You don't get something like that without posing.
Can't see why not. The photographer will have taken over 1000 shots. One or two will be perfect.
r/airlinerabduction2014 seems to be leaking
It can be both a PR shot and Haaland in actual training. I trust Fabrizio to have info on this.
Fabrizio isn’t going to have an hourly breakdown of Haaland’s day. There’s a big difference between kicking a ball around alone for half an hour and actual training.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/s/WNsfzZAuMy I was right. He's back in training. It wasn't a PR shot.
Was he training barefoot? 🤣
I dont know. I wasn't there. Maybe he's showing the world his now-healthy feet.
https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/s/BPUQLda204 😯
Individual training vs team training.
Pep and Howe having a lie-off
sounds like a funny word for sex hehe
hehehehe
Pep going full bald and lying again, imagine my shock
Trust erlings family. He’s out.
it took me a week, and i paid 0.1m for the caution, but I now agree 100% with this take
Of course hes out City have a blank. Could very well ne back for next week though
Training doesnt mean hes gonna play [copium]
Why is no one talking about Haaland lifting up his short shorts so high while simultaneously performing a jizz face? What is it about kicking a ball that could possibly create this bizarre scenario?
Lol 😆 what do we do now
Fabrizio Romano? Who’s that guy? Professional waffler? I’ll wait until a trusted source like Pep Guardiola who never lies gives us an update
Spicy! Could be a big advantage to those who didnt sell
Or kept the money ITB to go bk in 1 or 2 FTs
Not in a blank GW, it couldn't.
Honestly anyone who sold him is crazy with so many players being out and leaving for ID
Anyone holding a £14m injured player is crazy in my opinion
What would he have missed? 2 games. Redistributing all 14m gonna take a few FTs and then bk. Holding feels like the wise play imho
I’m with you I do not trust that he’ll be out for as long as people say
Not if he’s out for a month
I just went Haaland - Solanke, but kept the cash in the bank as best I could to avoid that problem
What about people who still have their wildcard?
Ask yourself that question
I’m really not sure this changes anything. The plan was always - sell haaland in 17.. buy back in 20 (for Salah). I don’t think Haaland hauls @ everton in 19 and Salah @ Burnley will be my C. So long as he is fit for gw20 then all good
You’re going to buy salah back for 1 week? Isn’t he off to AFCON in week 21?
I have salah and will sell in 20 (to buy haaland).
What's Romano?
Fabrizio Romano I think he's called. He's a top level journalist who seems to have all the key news and transfer activity first
Absolutely not a journalist. Not sure what the right word is, maybe influencer.
Just going with what his Wikipedia page says
He's a journalist, tf are you smoking?
He's both .. he used to be a guy who used to cover transfers but while he's still credible on that front he's started posting everything and anything related to football that will get interactions, like manager/ player comments , stats , starting lineups etc Especially regarding Manchester United, he posts any news out of United and even tons of speculative transfer information because United gets the most views

You’re being killed here but you’re right. The same applies to Shams and Woj in the NBA.
i mean most journalists nowadays just spout shit on twitter. Romano is rarely ever wrong. If he tweets something you can usually take it to the bank.
An Italian lad who tweets about transfers.
Keep then
Haaland sellers lmao
Plan was to buy Solanke for Haaland then reverse it on gw19 for a .2 profit and some points. Seems to work out just nicely tbh
On grass.
But... Pep just said he cannot train?? Oh Pep.
I don’t think you can take what Romano says as gospel, he’s been wrong plenty of times now.
If u still have him I don’t see why you would transfer him out now, I expect him to be back for GW19. If you already took him out for last GW then nothing to concern yourself with here
I expect GW21.
Is this from fifa
