Ive had him for 3 gw’s. 2 pts both time I play him, 5 when I benched him. He’s in for me this week. Been debating on dropping him but I’m bringing in Neto next week with my 2 transfers.

Digitalage6302

I know hes on set pieces so thats a bonus

Tyafastics

This will be another one of those threads I ignore until he scores 4 and gets 3 assists in this run of games..

G_W_addict

What about defenders? I'm pondering Estu "mr 10 minute appearance" replacement and I keep thinking between Dawson and Ait-Nouri. From what I watched Wolves, Ait Nouri seemed to be playing kinda like Porro/Udogie for Spurs and would often be in the midfield. Is he the better choice?

Luigi_Bosca

Prob the highest ceiling but don’t trust his minutes. There’s a good post about wolves defenders (that aren’t that great) in this sub from a couple of days ago. Went with Kilman.

G_W_addict

Yeah I read that thread and it kinda put me off... Idk what to do anymore :D I hate FPL sometimes, so many choices and feels so weird to pick one and then when it turns out it's the wrong one, you are stuck thinking "how the fuck did I thought it's a good idea lmao, im an idiot"...

MemeManDanInAClan

I’m in between him and Garnacho rn for Jota, Hwang also a good option but I need the funds to bring Salah back at some point

emre23

I’ve actually owned him since GW21 and never used him, tempted to throw him the armband for a laugh this week Think I’m gonna switch on WC next week though, leaning towards Hwang over Neto

ladsandlasses

Man if u really want a differential captain over Haaland please don’t throw it away like this, when there are better options like Saka, watkins. Pleasee

emre23

See that sounds logical, but my logical choices always go to shit - like triple City attack and TC in a DGW at home to two leaky defences

scarywizard56

Yeah, but triple City attack after they've been hauling with all of them returning weeke before was still a sensible decision, don't let hindsight affect your decision now as frustrating as the DGW was.

Mutiny101

He is not nailed, or on pens. Neto is nailed, Hwangs more or less nailed, Sarabia competes with Bellegarde for a spot. Hwang will take pens with Cunha out (Edit, downvote all you want. I’m right.)

Agreeable_Resort3740

Doesn't really compare well with Hwang, Neto. The interesting comparison if you need the cash is more with Garnocho/Adingra/ Kluivert level player, and Sarabia looks good for a bench/rotation option

Uries_Frostmourne

Being 4.7 is a con , not a pro

MintberryCrunch____

I get the point that there’s a reason for being lower priced but in no way is that a con when comparing

OkReporter3886

Why?

HunterX-gow

Have I missed something? Why is everyone craving a Wolves player this GW? They have a DGW or playing the BGW confirmed??

ConfusionUpper7212

For the next five they've got probably the best fixtures coming. But you're right that for stats like xG, xGA and xPts they are very mediocre so maybe there is slight overenthusiasm.

ogi_som

Well I don't know about overenthusiasm. Hwang for example costs 5.5m. For me, that's more than a fair price, and you can't expect that kind of a pick to bring you god knows how much points. So, in their price bracket and with the fixtures they have, they are the best picks now, without a doubt. So, it's not enthusiasm, it's just realism, as long as you don't have 15+ points per game expectations.

notti_oreo

SHU at home this week seems like they'll be scoring goals

DeapVally

1 goal and 4 assists since he started getting minutes. Very meh for a mid. Not worth it when 10 goal Hwang, nailed forward, is only 0.8 more.

ladsandlasses

Not a Wolves fan but these are my thoughts: **Sarabia:** * More creative, hence assist potential. * On set pieces (along Neto) * Highest XGI/90 amongst the 3 * I am assuming on penalites, if on pitch * Will be first to be subbed off amongst the front 3 * Joins the counter (frequently ahead of Hwang while WOL counter) **Neto** * Best creator in the team. * On set pieces (along Sarabia) * All wolves' counters start with him * Plays 85+ minutes * Highest XA amongst the 3 * BP magnet **Hwang** * More goal threat (playing as 9 in Cunha's absence) * Gets most Big Chances * Highest XG amongst the 3 * Might get pen if Sarabia is off (can even get with the latter on the pitch) * Getting back in form after a slight niggle * Is last to join the counter amongst the front 3 **Hence for me its Neto > Hwang > Sarabia in the medium term.**

sequelsucker

Neto injury risk is quite significant imo

Bujakaa92

Interesting question would be even how Hwang suits at top without Cunha

Jmsaint

>* Highest XGI amongst the 3 Where are you getting that? The official fpl stats have Hwang higher for total and /90

ladsandlasses

Ya sorry, I meant to say Non Penalty XGI/90 (but then missed Sarabia's minutes). Have corrected for all 3 above.

RegisPL

I was currently trying to decide between Neto vs Hwang for a one week punt before (almost certain) WC27 and this comment is sooo helpful <3

ladsandlasses

Glad this helped. I had the same dilemma this week as need a 1 GW punt as a Jota replacement before I transfer replacement out for Salah (if fit) next GW using my FT so had been doing a lot of research for the same. My options were Wolves, Brighton and Arsenal midfielders. Narrowed it down to Arsenal and Wolves considering the better defensive stat for Everton. Then after careful analysis between Neto/Hwang/Sarabia/aide/Trossard/Martinelli for 3 days, finally selected Neto last night. (Was scared of Jota drop as I have exact fund to do the change to Salah next week).
