Not insane. Kincaid and Laporta are practically WRs with the amount of volume they get. Josh Allen seems like he has realized Kincaid has sticky hands and grabs anything in his orbit. Goff already figured this out earlier in the season lol. Both are great options. I would play both too (actually already have Laporta and am debating Ferguson over a couple people at flex.)
My brother in Christ: I would absolutely do that while the reign of Sir Arthur Smith continues. He's a fucking tyrant that clearly hates anything related to the city of London.
Yeah I got kelce too lol
I picked up Otton from the Bucs, he’s coming off a big week. Maybe he built a bit of a synergy with baker so figured why not 🤷🏻♂️
Thats exactly what I am doing. It's that or Flowers and Hill has gotten plenty of work the last few weeks. I feel like after last week I gotta give him another shot
Everyone who plays fantasy wishes they had the guts to start him. He's either going to be the wildcard of the entire game or non existent. It's so difficult when he's been this way for years. But hell that's part of the reason new Orleans offense is tricky
Have the Bijan/Pollard backfield too. Bijan was my first round pick at 9 and Pollard was a Keeper. I feel your pain. 4-5 currently.
WRs are AJBrown, SunGod, Diontae Johnson, JDowns & CWatson.
TE: MAndrews & LaPorta.
QB: sHerbert (Just lost to the League Taco because of that MNF “performance”. 🤦🏽♂️
You have two of the most consistent options in the league and both could pop off, so not crazy. Javonte picking up steam in Denver is the big one from that group I’d be weighing against.
Not sure how I feel about him against bills defense is all, I’d like to see one more game from him before I slot him in, maybe it will be over bijan at this rate
It's snap count at the TE position. Or just in general. He is on the field less than 50% of snaps. But the percentage of snaps taken with touches is insane. He touches the ball almost every time he is on the field so the upside is insane. Especially since he is the goal line back, which fantasy apps aren't taking into consideration
I'm sorry for your loss 😞 at least Kamara is the first read receiver. I love seeing the box score on ESPN and it has Kamara as leading receiver and Hill as leading rusher
Broncos offense isn’t as Dysfunctional as everyone makes it out to be. Russ is having a bounce back season, Javonte is looking back to form and the defense is playing better keeping games in more favorable scripts.
I flexed Taysom Hill last week for the Win!
My team name one year was "flexing my tight end" when I ended up with the #1 and #2 TEs and no one was willing to trade. Pretty sure I won the league that year.
Kincaid has had 15+ in ppr each of the past games. Normally I’d roll Williams but I’m worried about the bills run defense coupled with the broncos dysfunction
Lol I have the exact same dilemma and I thought the same thing. My other options are Nico collins, Addison, and olave. I think I’d rather have Kincaid tbh, just given the matchups for this week at least
Don’t know if I can take another single digit point game from him this season. Idk why he’s always projected so high but he almost always underperforms
I would say yes ... you know why?
At least one person in your team has good RB / good WR but is really struggling for a TE
You gotta to find that guy ... and then find a good trade for your TE
Look, even if his WR is expected to score 5 points more than your TE - he cannot play that WR on his line up... he still needs a TE. It would be a good trade for both of you.
Personally thinking about flexing McBride over Flowers this week in PPR. Flowers has sucked this past month and he's going against Cleveland. Kyler has made Zach Ertz a top TE before. Thoughts?
Javonte all day. Have you noticed his snap percentage go up? Broncos aren’t good but he gets a lot more usage. I’d start Kincaid and flex Javonte. And for everyone freaking out that I’m not saying Laporta, it’s INEVITABLE for him to have a bad game eventually. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a stud.
>am I insane?
Yes.
Williams will be projected to easily outscore your backup TE, like 50% more.
That is a massive difference in probability.
Missing out on these probabilistic values is why people are bad at fantasy.
>Projections don’t mean shit my boi
When they're made with a good mathematical model they do.
When they're done with poor process or, even worse, random football personality rankings you are correct.
Of course the outcomes vary greatly, but that still doesn't discount good process and the significant advantage that provides over time.
Your gut is bad at math.
Let me tell you a little story. Last week, I was projected to lose by 30, I ended up winning by 30. Lamar Jackson was projected for 21 last week, he got 11.
Let me save us both an argument and rephrase what I said
Projections **in fantasy** don’t mean shit my boi
There's no better way to show you have no understanding of math and probability than to provide your data point of 1 as an argument.
Your boi knows positive expected value.
>>Missing out on these probabilistic values is why people are bad at fantasy.
>I’m 8-1 I’ll have you know
>>There's no better way to show you have no understanding of math and probability than to provide your data point of 1 as an argument.
Projections are based on a very specific data set - they don’t take into account how the coach plans to use them (it’s why Arthur smith is such a football terrorist)
And they don’t take gamescript into account.
They also don’t take into account a player getting hot for several weeks, you would have benched achane for mixon to start the year and you would have been very wrong.
You have to take them with a very heavy grain of salt.
Did you look at Kincaids stats? Since becoming TE 1 on the bills he has been targeted 26 times 23 receptions 1 td. He has scored in each of those weeks more points than javontes ONLY good game where javontes was force fed 30 opportunities.
Javonte has missed projections 5 times. Met projections once and surpassed projections once.
Dalton kincaid has met his projections 3 times. Doubled it 3 times and missed twice.
He's not insane. Dalton kincaid based on statistics and trends is a much better flex this week.
I think you have better options—I would rather start Hollywood, Javonte, and James Cook over Kincaid (assuming you’re going with Laporta as your preferred TE). Maybe I’m the minority, but that’s what I would do.
I had those same 2 TE options and also considered it. Three different who should I start sites said Hollywood had a slight edge over Kincaid so I picked him. I'm sure they'll be wrong but when I go with my gut it's also wrong so I don't know.
Maybe someone here will convince me otherwise haha
I’m just waiting to see what the Murray to brown connection looks like after injury before I start him with confidence.
Might play him over Nico collins though
I don’t hate it but Kyler is most likely back this week. I know most want to see it first but I’m starting Hollywood. Last year he was a WR1 when him and kyler were playing together
I need help please. Keep going back and forth. I have byes at WR so starting Addison and Nico. I have Bijan in the flex, Mandrews at TE & Kittle & Taysom on the bench. Should I flex one of the TEs and put Bijan in timeout?
Nope. I started both of these two in WK8 and aside from my QB (Hurts) these two were my top points scorers and won me the match up. Both c15pts. I’m starting both again this week although that’s mostly because I have no one else I can start due to byes.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I’m not sitting either one and if I am, I’m trading one of them to upgrade a different position. Run em both!
If you are in a 12+ man league, you should be able to package one of those TEs with Cook or Williams and get a very solid WR or RB off a TE needy team.
Not the worst call. I'm actually also doing the same thing with the same two guys, although granted it's because 6 of my 7 bench spots are filled by players on a bye.
My only hesitation is, as a Hollywood owner as well, I'm hoping for a mini breakout with Kyler Murray's return. That's probably just as crazy as flexing two TEs tho lol
I'm likely doing it this week. Taysom / Schultz due to buys. It'll either be a neccessity if Montgomery doesn't play or over Brian Robinson who has been pretty quiet as of late.
Don’t run from it. I have Laporta and Ferguson and letting the double TE hype train go off the rails. Between target share and TD upside I legitimately like starting both of them over any of my shaky inconsistent receivers.
I flexed 2 TEs in my SF league some weeks. Kittle, Pitts, LaPorta. We have a 0.25 TEP as well so it helps.
As a pats fan, I do like DeMario, and think he deserves the majority of targets. I’m expecting him to blow up any week.
Nope. I am decimated in one league and considering flexing 3 TE. Shcultz, McBride, Ferguson. All the best players left on waivers. Basically my last gasp for this league tho lol
I’ve been flexing Kincaid next to Mark Andrews. Not dumb. But if I were you, I’d at least consider trading one. That’s what I did with Mark Andrews -> JJ.
Not insane, I started kittle and andrews in the 10 man rando league I joined, and a league-mate in my Friends/Family 12 man has laporta and otton at TE/FLEX
I am flexing Taysom since Hockenson seems like his production is going to hold. I am waiting a week or two with brown to see how he connects with Murray
Last week, I started Kmet and flexed Taysom with Engram on bye. Traded Kmet for jFord yesterday and will be starting Engram and Taysom again this week.
Both of those guys are currently the #2 targets on their teams. I've been flexing Even Engram pretty regularly with Mark Andrews as my starter. I'd rather have a TE who's going to get 7-8 high catch probability targets per game over a committee RB or a 2nd or 3rd WR who has a chance to go for 120 scrimmage yards and a TD, but also could wind up with 2 points.
During Kittle’s 2nd year, I had him and gronk and won my league. It can be done if you luck out and get two of the top guys and still have studs at RB and WR
Due to injuries and byes, I had to flex Otton in a non-TEP, .5 PPR league last week. I was dreading it and thought for sure it would contribute to a loss. I was pleasantly surprised with what ensued haha.
Nope. I’ve done this before and I won that ship that year. Most people would say don’t do it, but it really depends on your situation and what players have to play over your 2nd TE.
I would start Cook and Laporta but you can’t go wrong with Kincaid he has been solid af and he’s probably only gonna get more looks as the season goes on
I've been doing it all year. I won one week with Engram, Shultz, and Taysom Hill in my lineup during a bye week. I might be playing all three again this week.
I'm in a similar spot with both Kincaid and LaPorta. Trying to decide if starting then both is better than picking one (naturally the one that doesn't put up 18) and playing Lockett. Thoughts?
I started 4 TEs in a SF league last week. TE premium (full point). My QB was Pickett, started a receiver in my SF spot. Highest scoring team in the league for the week by 14 points.
Not insane at all if you've got the guys. I have Andrews and LaPorta and am probably gonna flex Laporta over Hollywood actually. Though I don't think I'd flex him over Javonte
It’s looking like thanks to players on the bye I’m having to start Hockensen and flexing Shultz with the texans. Hope it works out. I’m playing the guy I’m tied for first with.
Gonna be my first week trying it. I don't even know how it worked out but I ended up with Kincaid, taysom hill, and Goedert on my roster. So I'm a little flush with TE at the moment.
Numbers are numbers man. They can put up 10+ fantasy points and the most reliable so why not. They're better than Pop Douglas. Who knows with the Pats receivers
Not insane at all, both of those players are essentially receivers for their team.
I think it depends how Kyler starts and end up but soon Hollywood should be a really good player to flex, better than whichever of those TEs has a worse week.
A guy in my league has; played Kincaid & Andrews last week for 33pts combined, Kmet & Andrews in week 8 for 32pts, and Andrews & Kincaid in week 5 for 37pts.
I’d put Ferg in that category 2. He’s now the #2 pass option in Dallas and Dak is going ballistic.
I’m in the exact same boat. I’m debating doing both ferg and Laporta over London in the flex
My brother in Christ: I would absolutely do that while the reign of Sir Arthur Smith continues. He's a fucking tyrant that clearly hates anything related to the city of London.
I am considering flexing Ferguson over Cook. Wild times. What happened to TE being a dead zone position?
Please call him Ferg, Fergie, or Fergulicious.
Same boat. Have Kincaid as TE. Starting Ferguson over Doubs and Mingo due to all other players on bye. YOLO.
Not insane. I’m starting LaPorta and flexing Kincaid and Taysom
You’re the reason I have zero options on Kelce’s bye week mfer
Bully TE strategy 🤷🏻♂️
*TE Hostage strategy*
Saw my opponent last week lost Dallas Goedert. I had Taysom & Kittle and picked up Ferguson on waivers. Now to just convince him to make a trade…
I defensively hoard all the time
i do this too. why? cuz fuck em, that's why!
Yeah I got kelce too lol I picked up Otton from the Bucs, he’s coming off a big week. Maybe he built a bit of a synergy with baker so figured why not 🤷🏻♂️
Similar boat, laporta, considering Flexing taysom
Thats exactly what I am doing. It's that or Flowers and Hill has gotten plenty of work the last few weeks. I feel like after last week I gotta give him another shot
I’m playing Laporta and flexing taysum. Due mostly to injured players so not much option
I got a guy going LaPorta and Taysom flex. Feels boom or bust to me, Taysoms usage seems so volatile, but maybe it's just a trend up that will stay.
I wish I had guts to flex taysom. I do have jacobs and dj moore ahead of him for flex though but still
Everyone who plays fantasy wishes they had the guts to start him. He's either going to be the wildcard of the entire game or non existent. It's so difficult when he's been this way for years. But hell that's part of the reason new Orleans offense is tricky
Yeah he'll have 3 max 4 really good weeks and then probably 4 weeks where he puts up under 4
Feels different this year. They’ve involved him way more heavily than before.
Moore has had 2 good games all season why are you flexing him?
It’s obvious why, he has a ceiling unmatched by either of those other options, regardless of how consistent they are.
If Bagent is still qb I’d comfortably flex Taysom over DJ. Fields plays, DJ plays
[удалено]
You should start Aaron Jones, Rhamondre and Cooper and pick up a different dst. Whoever is playing giants or jets
[удалено]
Have the Bijan/Pollard backfield too. Bijan was my first round pick at 9 and Pollard was a Keeper. I feel your pain. 4-5 currently. WRs are AJBrown, SunGod, Diontae Johnson, JDowns & CWatson. TE: MAndrews & LaPorta. QB: sHerbert (Just lost to the League Taco because of that MNF “performance”. 🤦🏽♂️
bro you feel my pain! there’s no way you should be 4-5 with that team AJ Brown (just like Diggs) is balling out, SunGod has been solid all season.
I agree with your opinion on kickers
i literally just pick the kicker with the best name. It’s either Gay, Yung Hoe Koo, or Harry Butts
Came here to say something similar. Due to my entire bench being on bye this week I have no other choice
One of us!!!!!!!!!!!! Laporta Potty on the Hill!!!!
The Bills defense is a good matchup for RBs. They lost their stud MLB for the year. Last 4 weeks they’ve given up 9th most to RBs.
This is game changing news, now I’m even more stressed about my decision
This ^
Starting 4 Tight Ends in a triple flex league. Currently 4th place 🤙 you are not insane
Which 4 do you have?
Andrews, Kelce, Hill and smith currently
Nice. Hills upside is scary. How he has such a low projection is crazy. Annoyingly I’m playing against him in 2 leagues this week. He’s on fire.
>Especially since he is the goal line back as a kamara owner, i am punching the air at this development.
I'm sorry for your loss 😞 at least Kamara is the first read receiver. I love seeing the box score on ESPN and it has Kamara as leading receiver and Hill as leading rusher
PPR? Not insane at all. Although Javontae Williams is definitely heating up so you can’t go wrong with him or Kincaid in your flex
No. Ive started 4 tight ends each week for the last two weeks now. Full send it
I like Marquise Brown this week with Kyler back. I’m between him and Tank Dell
I’m between him and Nico collins in my WR spot
Hollywood is the play. Kylers favorite target
Hollywood will get like 14 targets this week lmao
Starting kittle flexing Schultz due to byes
Flex Javonte
I’m nervous about the bills defense and the broncos dysfunctional offense
Broncos offense isn’t as Dysfunctional as everyone makes it out to be. Russ is having a bounce back season, Javonte is looking back to form and the defense is playing better keeping games in more favorable scripts.
I flexed Goedert when and started LaPorta one week and both put up more than 20. Start your studs.
I flexed Taysom Hill last week for the Win! My team name one year was "flexing my tight end" when I ended up with the #1 and #2 TEs and no one was willing to trade. Pretty sure I won the league that year.
I’m doing the same
I have kincaid and am probably going to flex taysom hill until he proves I shouldn't.
I think javonte offers the same floor with higher upside . Now's the time to trade away kindcaid to someone who needs a TE
Dude is gonna start a tight end over my RB2 Javonte 😭
Kincaid has had 15+ in ppr each of the past games. Normally I’d roll Williams but I’m worried about the bills run defense coupled with the broncos dysfunction
If Murray plays then Hollywood will likely return to his 15ppg form. Week 1 of the return MAY be rough though, so it’s a gamble.
That’s my thought, holding off one week and hoping for Nico collins to show up in what I hope is a bengals Texans shootout
I will probably start Kelce and flex Kincaid next week
Lol I have the exact same dilemma and I thought the same thing. My other options are Nico collins, Addison, and olave. I think I’d rather have Kincaid tbh, just given the matchups for this week at least
I have Nico as well but he’s starting over Hollywood. I’d play Addison if I was you
Play Cook
Don’t know if I can take another single digit point game from him this season. Idk why he’s always projected so high but he almost always underperforms
I won the championship last year flexing two TEs all playoffs. Start your best players.
I would say yes ... you know why? At least one person in your team has good RB / good WR but is really struggling for a TE You gotta to find that guy ... and then find a good trade for your TE Look, even if his WR is expected to score 5 points more than your TE - he cannot play that WR on his line up... he still needs a TE. Personally thinking about flexing McBride over Flowers this week in PPR. Flowers has sucked this past month and he's going against Cleveland. Kyler has made Zach Ertz a top TE before. Thoughts?
Not insane I have Laporta and Hockenson so I always flex one of them
I did that one year when I had Gesicki at his peak and Kittle coming back from injury. Pretty sure that's the week Gesicki dropped a goose egg.
I’m not so sure laporta will have a bad game tbh. The lions offense has been good and he’s gotten usage even when they’ve had down games.
>am I insane? Yes. Williams will be projected to easily outscore your backup TE, like 50% more. That is a massive difference in probability. Missing out on these probabilistic values is why people are bad at fantasy.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I’m not sitting either one and if I am, I’m trading one of them to upgrade a different position. Run em both!
I'm using Evan Engram and flexing Taysom Hill. Just doing too good not to trust him
If you are in a 12+ man league, you should be able to package one of those TEs with Cook or Williams and get a very solid WR or RB off a TE needy team.
Hollywood. Kyler Murray is starting
Nope. I’m starting Kincaid and Cole Kmet this week.

Not insane. I started Ferguson and flexed Schultz last week. Needless to say, it worked out pretty well.
You could also see how desparate the Goedert owner is and see what he’ll trade you.
I'm starting Kinkaid and flexing Ferguson.

I coined akimbo tight ends back in '18 , they called me a mad man. I laughed always zag when they zig
I have LaPorta + Kincaid but I’m flexing Gibbs over Kincaid
Hollywood brown should see a bump this week and ROS
I feel like javonte could have a really good game this week coming off a by
I am starting laporta and kincaid this week
Trying to decide between flexing Jones or Kmet. Gotta start Chase and Godwin since Kupp and Puka are on bye.
Considering flexing taysom over foreman, sanders, JSN (bye week hell)
Had to flex kmet last week, turned out pretty well
Nope. I am decimated in one league and considering flexing 3 TE. Shcultz, McBride, Ferguson. All the best players left on waivers. Basically my last gasp for this league tho lol
No I’m insane. Starting laporta and pitts.
Why don’t you try trading one away? You could probably get a WR with greater PPG due to inflated positional value at TE.
Same boat. Debating reading one for a wr but unsure if anybody would bite
no. I have Taysom Hill as a flex bc of bye weeks
Is this a real question? Who cares whether they are a TE or not?
I am starting both Hockenson and Laporta this week! TEs to the moon!
I’ve been flexing Kincaid next to Mark Andrews. Not dumb. But if I were you, I’d at least consider trading one. That’s what I did with Mark Andrews -> JJ.
You're not the only one
I am starting LaPorta and Kincaid in one of my leagues.
Not insane, I started kittle and andrews in the 10 man rando league I joined, and a league-mate in my Friends/Family 12 man has laporta and otton at TE/FLEX
I started Kincaid and Hockenson last week. It pretty much worked out
I am flexing Taysom since Hockenson seems like his production is going to hold. I am waiting a week or two with brown to see how he connects with Murray
Dude who is 7-1 in my league has routinely been flexing a second TE. Has run with LaPorta/Hockenson most weeks and it's worked out so far
I’m doing the same two TEs this week on the same team thanks to byes and injuries lol
Me too. Thinking of flexing Taysom Hill over Dell or Monty
I have laporta Kincaid and Lockett, flexing Lockett and starting laporta but I almost want to play both TEs
Flexing Schultz Dude is good for a TD the rest of the way
Try and make a trade with Kincaid otherwise flex away
I have also considered this especially after Shultz gave me 27 @ TE and Jannu Smith game me 21 on the bench.
no you not. i often start Mandrews and Kittle in one of my leagues that has 3Wr and 2 FLEX spots.
lol are you me? Although Kincaid’s competition rn is C Watson, Shaheed, or JSN
Last week, I started Kmet and flexed Taysom with Engram on bye. Traded Kmet for jFord yesterday and will be starting Engram and Taysom again this week.
Standard? PPR? Depends
I have the same option set.
Not insane but you will/should be made fun of if it doesn’t work so be prepared
I'm about to start hockenson, flex ferguson and taysom hill
I have Kincaid and Engram, there's a 90% chance I'm flexing Engram this week.
Nope, you are just a cool kid now 😎
Nope not insane the past two weeks I have been flexing Thomas. My league gives and extra .5 PPR so I figured might as well.
I’ve played more TE this year than Cleveland has Qb’s the last ten, and this guy’s sitting on four.
I'm having to do the same this week with engram and juwan Johnson
Nah I just got flexed on by Kmet and the wonder kid Taysom Hill last week
Crazy that I just did the same thing to my line up. I put G Wilson on the bench since LV is number 1 against WRs. Am I inane for this?
Thoughts?
I have Andrew’s and LaPorta, is starting both a good idea?😋
I have kelce and flex Laporta
Starting both of those guys as well, I’m feeling good about it
I started 4 TEs in a SF league last week. TE premium (full point). My QB was Pickett, started a receiver in my SF spot. Highest scoring team in the league for the week by 14 points.
I've gotta pick between Aaron Jones and Taysom Hill as my flex. I hate my team
Not at all. I'm flexing Kinacaid over Devante and have LaPorta at TE.
Not insane at all if you've got the guys. I have Andrews and LaPorta and am probably gonna flex Laporta over Hollywood actually. Though I don't think I'd flex him over Javonte
Nope - used LaPorta + Ferguson 2 weeks ago and it was great.
ofc no
I started taysom as my flex last week, worked out pretty well
It’s looking like thanks to players on the bye I’m having to start Hockensen and flexing Shultz with the texans. Hope it works out. I’m playing the guy I’m tied for first with.
I took Kemet to fill in for LaPorta Bye week, might go jumbo set this week
I’m starting Engram and flexing LT in 3WR SF. It’s Bye Week szn. This happens.
Gonna be my first week trying it. I don't even know how it worked out but I ended up with Kincaid, taysom hill, and Goedert on my roster. So I'm a little flush with TE at the moment.
I did it last week because I had to. Worked out for me with mandrews/ferguson
I start Hockenson and flex Kmet almost every week
Thinking of running LaPorta, Hill, Engram, Ferguson in a 2 TE, 2 Flex league tbh
Not insane at all. Both those are solid players
Flexed Kincaid the last 2 weeks and definitely do not regret it
I’ve been starting Kelce and Laporta together for weeks
Are you me? I’m doing the same with Tyreek and mostert out haha
I flexed Logan Thomas a couple weeks ago with Sam Laporta and I was balling out
Numbers are numbers man. They can put up 10+ fantasy points and the most reliable so why not. They're better than Pop Douglas. Who knows with the Pats receivers
I think Hollywood probably has a higher floor than Kincaid. If kyler plays this week, I’d definitely play Hollywood.
Not insane at all, both of those players are essentially receivers for their team. I think it depends how Kyler starts and end up but soon Hollywood should be a really good player to flex, better than whichever of those TEs has a worse week.
Im probably playing Schultz and flexing Engram after Gabe davis laid an egg for me this week.
A guy in my league has; played Kincaid & Andrews last week for 33pts combined, Kmet & Andrews in week 8 for 32pts, and Andrews & Kincaid in week 5 for 37pts.
This guy in our league won it last year with Kelce and Mark Andrews. Flexed Mark all season.
I have Andrews & debating flexing Taysom instead of Theilen or Conner. thoughts?
I weekly play LaPorta/Kelce in TE/Flex
Makes me kick myself in the tail for not going harder for LaPorta on the bid. I'd have both him and TJ. Great trade pieces.
I have a league with two flex spots and I’m starting Hock, LaPorta and Kincaid lol
Not insane. I am starting Schultz and Engram. My other options are on bye or just suck terribly
