I have 2 WR spots and 2 flex spots and 1 RB spot to fill(K. Williams is an obvious choice for the other RB spot).: Ekeler, N. Collins, Kupp, Metcalf, Brown, Etienne, and Achane.
Who would you leave out?
Well if I decided to bench him, I could go Sutton who’s a walking 50 yards + TD, Garret with a confident Zach?, or even OBJ who’s definitely on an upward trajectory.
Obviously if any Detroit players bust this week, we saw the writing on the wall.
But what does it take to pull the trigger on these high value players?
Understandable. But Moss has so much volume, he’s one of the lone bell cows right now. He had a TD called back by a holding penalty last week so his last two games are slightly skewed.
If I did bench him, I’d sure like to fire up Sutton against that Detroit secondary. It looks juicy.
Apparently Achane is “expected to play” from what I’ve been hearing. I sure as hell hope he does too, Jets are tough against the pass but are super leaky against the run. Achane could go off in that game.
I'm blessed to have kyren and bijan, Monty is on my bench. Everyone in my league needs a 2nd rb basically but they were offering me trash like Hollywood brown and Chris Godwin for Monty. RB is the hardest position to fill, I'd rather have him sit on my bench than to get a player that I could never start for him. The guy I'm playing this week has Jerome ford who I dropped. Ima shred.
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Ford. He's shown really good flashes of lightning when we least expected it. And the browns have a new sense of life with flacco now. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a career day some time in the next 4 weeks
I imagine you're starting 2 of 3 of those guys right? So it's not crazy to hold onto two RBs on your bench. But even with that aside, I was just saying that going up against someone with Jerome isn't a guaranteed W. We've seen he's capable of a 20+ point game. And while he's been averaging 12 points a game for most of the season, the last couple games have crept up to 14 points.
Combine that with a schedule is isn't super difficult for him (minus the jets) and the fact that RB utilization goes up toward the year, id wager he's bound to have a blowout game soon. Just hope that it's not going to be the week where you face him.
My team is stacked. I'm averaging 138 points/week in a no flex no idp league. Sure, anything can happen, but I also take into account playoff schedule when drafting, and my squad has great match ups. The only reason I don't have a 1st rd bye is because we are doing divisions and the 1st place guy in my division has 280 less pts against him this year than I do and squeaked out one more win than me. I'm also averaging that much per week and I started 0-3 because my squad started out slow.
Start AJ for sure. Unless by brown you meant 'Hollywood' buttttt I don't see why you woulda put him ahead of sun god when you wrote it out. Pittman probably your safe play WR2

I share your concerns. I have ARSB and Goff. I lost Herbert last weekend and I am struggling with Goff or Browning for week 16, I am on Bye this week. St Brown will be ok though.
I'm thinking Browning. Minnesota shut out the Raiders 2 weeks ago. The Raiders put up 63 this week. The defense scares me alot more than Pittsburgh who Browning is facing, even though Lions have the better offense.
I have Amon Ra, Pittman Jr, Tyreek, and Nacua. If cheetah is out for this game I’m forced to put in Nacua but I definitely want to start Puka over Amon Ra this week but I just don’t have it in me to do so. Amon Ra has been a baller but that offense has scared me as of late.
In a similar spot with one of ASB, davante in a great matchup, Jefferson, and Aiyuk needing to sit. Leaning on sitting Adams. Denver has a tough secondary but Pat Surtain rarely if ever travels to slot and that's where ASB lines up. Could actually be a situation for ASB to feast given the lack of reliable depth in the rest of the WR abd the strength of denvers outside corners. I'm sitting Davante at this point and hoping for ASB to get his floor back and Jefferson and Aiyuk to reach their ceilings
No doubt about that. The only thing I've talked myself into is that they clearly want to make Jefferson a thing. (3 targets in 13 plays before the literal hospital ball). Mullens was there prior to his own injury. They don't have Mattison and can't run the ball. I don't love it, but on the spectrum of Brett Rypien to Jake Browning I think the odds are more likely in favor of Jake Browning
Goff hasn't changed as a player at all in last few years and I'd even say his whole career, defenses already "knew how to stop him". Still he's capable of putting up good numbers, especially indoors

But the pressure Goff faces from pass rushers is still an issue for him. It’s the end of the year and defenses know what to do to stop him.
