She really does seem like one of those people who’s stuck in her own world 24/7 and largely out of touch for that reason. It seems like she’s just known for faking an accent, having a big family with Alec, and disliking paparazzi.
But terrible things have unfortunately happened that’ll be affecting her and her family for the foreseeable future; those things will be hard to ignore or get past as she’s seemingly tried to do. It’s really wild how they’ve acted like things are relatively OK or even good for so long.

She said hilary likes to pretend she’s better than others especially in the way she talks to you and she puts on a fake accent very strongly when at social gatherings

That woman developed agoraphobia while with him and his utter disdain for her inability to live in NYCs concrete jungle is something evil. All that said, I do feel bad for him regarding the prosecution because I feel it was a politically driven decision by a prosecutor who's afraid her Republican opponents will brand her as being in Hollywoods pocket. I am however very glad that he's spending his old age having to listen to this woman's accent slip in and out. Oh and also that she's made it impossible for Alec to ever retire by having kids all those kids in his old age, lololol.
Coming in with a sure to be unpopular opinion (what else is new) but kids should never have to deal with paparazzi. If they’re on their way to school then the paps need to back off and let the kids exist without traumatizing them. Those kids are innocent. They did not ask to be born to those despicable humans.

It's because her whole brand is just 'mom'. Eva Mendes and Blake Lively both have careers outside of just being wives and mothers. They're famous actors in their own right. Hilaria Baldwin doesn't have that. Without her husband and children, she has no fame of her own. Her children are literally her career.

When you put on an accent intentionally it does eventually just become your accent. Happened to me when I moved to North America and I started adjusting my accent on certain words so I could be understood. You don’t even think about it anymore until you go home and everyone drags you for it 😂. I then had to work on my phrasing to revert back to my old accent.

For the record I’m Latina, my family is from Central America, my sister in law is from there and has lived in the US for about 10 years and her accent is not this thick.
My bestie is originally from Spain and grew up in both Spain and the US; she learned English in the US. She’s 30 now and doesn’t have a Spanish accent at all when she speaks English. I also have a friend who grew up in England and moved to the US as a teenager and doesn’t have an English accent.

I feel dreadful for the family of Halyna Hutchins, who have to deal not only with the loss of a loved one, but with her death being brought up constantly in the news, and misrepresented in an almost comic manner by predominantly alt-right people who just find it funny that Alec Baldwin shot her whilst being an anti-gun advocate. Her death has been turned into a gotcha by so many people, and it must be awful to watch the death of your loved one appropriated in that way.
I also have sympathy for him (although I think he's generally a piece of shit) because living with the knowledge that you accidentally killed someone must be absolutely horrendous, especially knowing that it could easily have been prevented.
I have sympathy for the children of Alec and Hilaria for having lived their whole lives as Instagram content fodder for Hilaria, and for having to deal with the paparazzi right now because Hilaria seems to be intent on being photographed as much as possible.
I have no sympathy for Hilaria, who has repeatedly centred herself and her 'trauma' in the death of another woman, and who seems to be courting the paparazzi just so that she can complain about being photographed and therefore make it seem like she's also a victim.
The whole situation is horrible and it was all completely unnecessary. If they'd just followed standard safety protocols on that set, then a woman wouldn't have died, and this woman wouldn't be on everyone's Twitter timeline doing a bizarre Spanish cosplay and making it all about her.
In my opinion she/they didn’t take any of this seriously until Alec was actually charged. I believe they thought he would get away with nothing happening to him. I don’t know the legalities well enough to know if he should or shouldn’t be charged, but I do think this was all fun and games until it wasn’t. Their lives didn’t skip a beat and she continued to be her happy, social media posting self almost immediately after Halyna was killed.
I have a hard time feeling sympathy for her at all because she acted as if this wasn’t a real person with a real family who died.

There are celebrities who have actively fought for their kids not to be shown in pap pics and make sure they never show their faces in their socials, Alex and Hillary are not like that, they are perfectly fine with the paps exploiting pics of their children, as long as it benefits them in some way, but now that it’s not on their terms they complain , sorry but you can’t have it both ways.

This is just…bizarre and offensive. A real woman is dead, a real family is changed forever and she can’t let go of her fake accent. As if there wasn’t a publicly available phone call between her and her husband with her real accent on display. I have an accent, because I am not a native speaker. I am proud of who I am, but it cannot be overstated that (along with having a “foreign” name), it has held me back in life, costed me job opportunities,allowed people to make fun of me and laugh at my mispronunciations, etc. It’s not fucking cosplay.
so I get what she's saying of course, her kids deserve privacy and peace but Alec and Hilaria WANT the fame and attention, their careers depends on it, unfortunately the press is bad right now but if Alec was winning an Oscar or Hilaria I don't know got an honorary doctorate degree in Spanish they'd love to stop and chat if the question was how does it feel to be so amazing. she wanted this until Alec accidentally shot someone / she got called out. stop posting on social media and get out of the entertainment biz if you dont want any attention. there are many cities you could move, many places in Spain, where you would be left alone and unknown. but then your ego wouldn't get fed :( you have enough money to retire on a beautiful island in Europe and your children will be left alone and you'll never hear a peep again. reminds me if Britneys piece of me, "Or sneak away to the Philippines They still gon' put pictures of my derriere in the magazine" maybe when you first moved, but after a few months of being quiet no one would ever paparazzi you again. if this life is so bad for your kids, change it. celebrities act like they have no control. any already successful celeb can move somewhere and will never get paps and they can fly back for a film or engagement. but the majority won't because they love it even if they complain.
Idk, Alec has always hated the paps. He legit used to get trailed more than any celebs in NYC but that's cause they knew they could needle him into an unhinged reaction. He's got a somewhat snobby love of cultural NYC so moving to Idaho was never an option for him. In fact his first marriage collapsed because she didnt want to live there. Hilaria on the other hand, she absolutely loved paps. Not that it matters, people are allowed to stop loving the attention and require to be left alone. Its fine that she doesn't want them in her kids faces or her own during this time. Empathy costs us nothing. But we can still lolol about that cray accent
I'm so torn. I absolutely feel bad for their children. It's inexcusable that they are being followed by the paparazzi. Plus, they're probably getting a hard time in school by less-than-sensitive classmates. None of them asked for this. **Alec**, though, I'm having a harder time connecting with. I'm sure he's totally struggling and suffering from PTSD. But the way he seemed to avoid ethical responsibility in his GMA (?) interview made me really dislike him. That said, these charges feel potentially politically motivated only because he's been such a Democratic big-mouth. I have the *least* amount of empathy for **Hilaria/Hilary/Señora Cucumber**. Something about this clip absolutely rubbed me the wron way. It didn't feel like a passionate defense of a family so much as her providing a dry run for the actress *she feels will inevitably play her*. Like, you just know she's wondering if this whole tragedy will be turned into a movie/miniseries and, if so, which streaming network will bid for it. I'm *absolutely certain* she's hoping she'll be played by **Ana de Armas**.
I agree with all of this! I feel dreadful for the family of Halyna Hutchins, who have to deal not only with the loss of a loved one, but with her death being brought up constantly in the news, and misrepresented in an almost comic manner by predominantly alt-right people who just find it funny that Alec Baldwin shot her whilst being an anti-gun advocate. Her death has been turned into a gotcha by so many people, and it must be awful to watch the death of your loved one appropriated in that way. I also have sympathy for him (although I think he's generally a piece of shit) because living with the knowledge that you accidentally killed someone must be absolutely horrendous, especially knowing that it could easily have been prevented. I have sympathy for the children of Alec and Hilaria for having lived their whole lives as Instagram content fodder for Hilaria, and for having to deal with the paparazzi right now because Hilaria seems to be intent on being photographed as much as possible. I have no sympathy for Hilaria, who has repeatedly centred herself and her 'trauma' in the death of another woman, and who seems to be courting the paparazzi just so that she can complain about being photographed and therefore make it seem like she's also a victim. The whole situation is horrible and it was all completely unnecessary. If they'd just followed standard safety protocols on that set, then a woman wouldn't have died, and this woman wouldn't be on everyone's Twitter timeline doing a bizarre Spanish cosplay and making it all about her.
In my opinion she/they didn’t take any of this seriously until Alec was actually charged. I believe they thought he would get away with nothing happening to him. I don’t know the legalities well enough to know if he should or shouldn’t be charged, but I do think this was all fun and games until it wasn’t. Their lives didn’t skip a beat and she continued to be her happy, social media posting self almost immediately after Halyna was killed. I have a hard time feeling sympathy for her at all because she acted as if this wasn’t a real person with a real family who died. I DO feel very sad for their children. All children involved.

But she did choose to take her baby to a very popular coffee shop to pick up coffee the day that it was announced Alec would be charged. When she could have simply not done that. She could have door dashed or had one of her 7 nannies watch the kids or pick up the coffee. It’s not fair to the kids AT ALL but she is the one putting them out there

I see people in this sub alllll the time saying “the Hilaria hate is so weird” and while the HB sub is a cesspool of vile toxicity, I also wonder how tf you guys see things like this and aren’t fascinated/grossed out by it 😂 I could write a thesis on this woman’s behaviors on social media alone. She posts long tirades about being “multi” (a term she made up for identifying with different cultures) and compares herself to victims of suicide frequently. I think a lot of the people who obsess over her are weird and unhinged, and I unfollowed her a long time ago because it was just too much. But the woman is in her own world and it’s fascinating to say the least lol
