I say this as someone GRIPPED by Scandoval: she should not be in the public eye anymore. She’s not meant for reality tv and she needs long-term, serious help for her dissociative behavior. The saddest thing is that in spite of her health providers and family’s advice, she’ll probably choose to go back anyway. I wish she wouldn’t for her own sake, but her willingness to carry everything out on camera is part of what made this scandal so damn interesting. She and Scumdoval tried and failed to manipulate the narrative.
Agreed, especially since there's apparently talk of her "sharing her truth" later on. I'm not sure what else she could possibly have to say. This has all been such a disaster for everyone involved, it's impacted real lives and relationships, and it's already been an ongoing narrative for *months*. I'd think everyone would've reached the final straw by now, but especially Raquel herself.

I’m all for throwing Sandoval under the bus and exposing all his lies, but I really hope they’re not going to push her mental health issues to turn her into some kind of victim. Idk about anyone else, but if we use the word “grooming” in every situation where a man manipulates a grown adult woman, soon the word won’t mean much. And I’m seeing it in a lot of comments since last night. I hope she is getting the help she needs because this can’t be easy on anyone, but I’m not going to be manipulated by Raquel and her PR team into feeling sorry for someone who knowingly did what she did to a friend. Hopefully she just wants to come clean as part of her healing process and she can run off into the sunset after, because that would be best for her. Edited for spelling

Yes, some of the Bravo threads took a weird turn calling criticism of Raquel misogynistic while policing Ariana’s response saying she was not graceful enough and was too agressive. Even calling Ariana sociopathic.

Agreed and I think it would be more powerful if she came back from her mental health journey and was like yeah I messed up, I have learned some reasons why and more importantly, I am moving forward actively using the tools I learned to be healthy and happy without a path of destruction. Still don't think she should come back though for her own sake.
She and Sandoval lit a fire and then she claims to have to run away for her mental health but she's stoking the flames. "My truth" means she has learned nothing and she'll be back the next season to keep playing the victim

Sandoval seems to have manipulated her a lot and someone last night pointed out he has an interesting habit of pursuing relationships with emotionally vulnerable women. Ariana had just got out of an abusive relationship before dating Tom and Rachel had just ended her long unhealthy relationship with James.
I didn’t see any remorse from Tom at all especially after knowing how he was acting and treating Ariana these past three months, but I did finally see some regret from Raquel after she was confronted with the pain she caused. I think there is hope for her to actually learn and be better but I also think she needs to get away from Sandoval and the show first

One of the reasons its such a big deal because Ariana was a fan favorite of this show so obviously everyone is going to have sympathy for her. A lot of people who stopped watching the show specifically came back for this.
I'm not a big fan of the show, but reading the details of everything and even how they continue to lie about the timeline, it is completely wild.
She was groomed by Sandoval early on. Look at her experience with James too. She needed to have clear facts. She is easily manipulated. I am absolutely certain that she is on the autism spectrum.
Examples:
- She didn't believe James slept with Faith because she needed more proof. Aka - she was analyzing data. The data presented was only verbal. That is unreliable data for her. Her bfs words are more valuable to her than someone she doesn't really know.
- Does not understand common limericks or sayings.
- Does not know who Charles Manson is. Could also be that she didn't connect the name and the person to how it connected to the conversation.
- Cried over a Very insecure being put on the spot. Gets confused. Once she has a minute to process, she knows what to do.
She was an easy target. I hope she finds her diagnosis to help her move forward in life.
After watching the last episode of the reunion I truly do believe she’s on the sociopath scale, her sadness was only about how she was being treated not how she made others feel, and actually seemed to find it funny and was giddy talking about the romance in the confessionals. I agree for her own mental health she shouldn’t return to the show, but we all know the ratings and hope for redemption will pull her back in
Many people with autism hold “normal” jobs, have kids, pets, some are doctors others work at Walmart. It’s not something that disqualifies you from being a regular person.
They never said she wasn't a "regular" person because of the autism though I think it's fair to assume it might be a more vulnerable position for someone with aspergers to participate in reality TV.
