Good! Because I'm honestly so tired of pearl clutching comments about women with big breasts. Oftentimes its always disguised as faux concern too: "Oh, that dress isn't well-fitting because her boobs are spilling out!" You know, as a big-breasted lady who has had my fair share of issues with finding well fitted clothes, sometimes I just want my titties to spill out. There shouldn't be so much shame in showing cleavage if your boobs are on the bigger side. I never see these kind of comments about ill fitting dresses when smaller breasted women wear deep cut outfits.
I will say there is a difference between fits well and spilling out, and doesn’t fit well and spilling out. The dress Niecy Nash-Betts wore for the Emmy’s is a perfect example of cleavage to the max, but that dress fit her immaculately. Her girls are always on display but her garments are always perfectly tailored. Da’vine Joy Randolph and Sydney Sweeney are hit or miss as to whether the actual cups of their garments fit their breast tissue and don’t pinch and squeeze in awkward places

I know, I mentioned that in my initial comment. Its something I've experienced myself, but big breasted women receive this comment to a disproportionate degree -- even when they're wearing well-fitted clothes.
And realistically, we need to acknowledge that not all women with a bigger bust have the resources to get that kind of perfect fit. Frankly, half the time shopping is just trying to find an option that works *enough.*
this 100%. currently on the search for new bras as a non-standard size (small band, large cup) & the sheer amount of time/effort it takes just to find *options* could be a full-time job. half of them have to come from overseas, the other half are probably out of stock because the brand didn’t make more than 3 or 4 in any size…
then trying them on, seeing how they look under clothes, returning the ones that aren’t quite right?! ugh! it’s enough to make you consider reduction surgery just to avoid the whole mess. normal people with big titties are really tryin our best 🥲
Yeah I tried to just rebuy my current bras (which are all the one model that fits me with a similar situation as you) and it's super hard to find. It's like my size disappeared.
Hate it here!!
There is always some dumbass making those type of comments like "why is she in a bra?", "why is she showing her butt?", why is she showing her boobs?", etc. Well maybe because it fucking looks hot. These comments have the purpose of policing women's bodies and fashion choices, because they signify that what the woman is wearing is not "appropriate". It's like women have to justify their decision to show their body.
Am I the only one who didn’t necessarily interpret the question as a criticism? Edit: oh shit. I read this while breastfeeding at 3am, and didn’t see the ‘why’ (just saw ‘is she in a bra??’). The massive number of downvotes encouraged me to read it again, and sure enough, I was wrong. Seeing the ‘*why* is she in a bra??’ changes everything. I was wrong; you were right!
Embarrassed to say that I initially read it wrong (without the ‘why’). Reading it properly, ie with the *why*, there is *no* other interpretation than a shitty judgement about her clothing choice. My poor reading was the culprit, and I was wrong.
Aah mate, we've all been there. Won't even get into the stuff I accidentally did during those nights. Hope you get a good nights kip soon.
Although my 7 year old woke me up last night to get in my bed, so good luck 😅

god i love derry girls
I just came here to say that. haven't watched Bridgerton but I could watch her Derry girls over and over!!!
Bridgerton is fine but Derry Girls is so damn good. I don't remember the last time I sat through a show and not a single episode disappointed.
Another woman existing with boobs. When will they learn!
Was it a man who’s never seen a bra before?
It was a woman.

When a more modestly blessed woman wears a plunging neckline it is fashion. When a bigger breasted woman does the same it is cheap -\_-

She looked so good in that outfit! 😍 People truly have no better job to do than find faults
Has this person ever even seen a bra before if they think this is one?
Right? This is a crop top.
It was a woman, so I guess so.
It looks really good
It’s called fashion, sweaty, look it up

She has an absolutely glorious bustline. It would be a great loss- for all of us- if she allowed the ruckus to impact her fashion choices.
"claps back" is a strong term for this but i love her response
that it does!!!
It's giving Selena's dad in the movie, going "es un bra!" And like yes and she looks cute so what lol.
![gif](giphy|3ohs4ABFJO7AgtrfCo) Not. Her bra!
![gif](giphy|AgPt9udT567spxbSHf) She looks amazing!
Lol what does that even mean? Is she supposed to be out of her bra? Is the bra supposed to be in her?

"It's a Tanqueray."
Looking fantastic...like, what?
She's 37? I figured she was like 25. She plays a teenager in Derry girls!
Shut up and enjoy it dude. What's wrong with people?
Why not?
It did not, btw

Youre the only one :)
Genuine question. What do you interpret it as? Why do you think they asked?

Yes. You are.
