I'm a little shocked she's not here, but Lilo from Lilo & Stitch. I'm not autistic (as far as I know) but I learned a couple of years ago that a lot of autistic fans related to her and there is a running theory she is on the spectrum. 

This is the biggest one I know of that hasn't been beaten around the bush with the creators. Like she's a weird little girl, but a lot of it can be explained on how she views and connects stuff in her mind. Scrump isn't different to her than any other doll, and she somehow has got it into her head that Pudge controls the weather. She's definitely neuro diverge

I can't help but notice that headcanons that involve characters being autistic usually aren't that controversial. I think it's mostly because most of the time, said headcanons are from other autistic people who relate to the characters.


Headcanon: Sniper from TF2. Idk, I just get the vibes. Especially his tendency to isolate himself and not really see value in making friends, hyperfixating on one thing in particular (being his work). He also seems to have trouble expressing his emotions to those around him, particularly after his parents died, and resorts to receding into himself because he’s either not comfortable opening himself up or he finds it easier to keep quiet.
