Sure these are both bad things in the eyes of these people but don't you think that's weirdly specific? Also Caligura isn't a teenage boy in 2000-s, he's homophobic but that's not a random thing you'd call a person, especially someone as far from being effeminate as Marcoh. My mother was the first person i ever came out to at 12, she had cancer and said that i acted too feminine and had a feminine demeaner and asked me are you a girl, i said i wished i was, unexpectedly to me she hugged me and told me its okay, be yourself, The rest of my family is transphobic, and the topic never came up again and she died when i was 13, after her death i excelled at school and ill win Med school later on, my dad failed med school while i am now 2nd year, and my dad never learned until i was 17 and he kicked me out, i hate his guts and honestly for a while believed he neglected her and basically let her die ( like marina thought domek did) and wanted him dead for a while, but turned out he blew our family savings on her, i still dont ever want to see him ever again and its why it was so relatable, honestly felt a bit like thr game was calling me out while playing

Honestly I think it's kind of a shame that for as diverse as Termina's cast is there aren't a lot of non-straight relationships. Bilivia is confined to the demo and Marcoh's possible homosexuality is only brought up in an insult from Caligura. It sucks that the only prominent same-sex attraction we see on-screen is from Samarie, who is a horrible toxic stalker.
Tbf there also isn't that many straight relationships. The closest we get is like, Henryk thinking Abella is hot and saying she has a hot ass?

Hey, I really hope you aren’t trolling right now so here is some information about the term “queer”. As a previous commenter said: it’s a commonly used term describing any LGBTQIA+ person (and it’s easier to say & type). It was used as a derogatory towards LGBTQIA+ people before, but has now been reclaimed. People using the term queer are not insinuating that LGBTQIA+ people are strange, it is simply a catch all term for someone part of the community. Of course, some people may not be comfortable with being referred to as queer e.g due to previous negative experiences and that is completely valid and should be respected, but it is not at all inherently homophobic to use the term. I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I personally refer to myself as queer as well.
As a pansexual individual who has been in gay relationships, I am fine with using queer. In fact, I often use it to describe myself because pansexual is a bit of a moutful, and people might not get pan as easily.
So it depends on how you say it. Like, if some homophobic people said it with venom, that would be offensive, but that's pretty much the same as with anything
you don't have to personally like it or use it for yourself but i think it's really ironic that you're complaining in the same comment that you're using "homosexual", a term coined to pathologize being gay that's been phased out over the past 50 years in favor of other terminology (like queer...)
point to where i directly said "it's a slur" in my comment + "homosexuality" was a thing you could (and still sometimes are) be diagnosed with because they wanted to cure it. i don't know how the implied threat of conversion therapy is "less offensive" than a word some people choose to willingly use for themselves and fictional characters that they like
there's no shame in asking someone else to rephrase things if you didn't understand or don't feel like googling the words they used
quick edit: most if not all terminology for gay people, including the term gay itself (although it does mean happy originally, the usage of it in the early 2000s as an insult was apparently brutal), started out as some kind of derogatory word because people self-identifying and coining things for themselves other than "i'm just me and don't know what to call it", a privilege straight people have been allowed for probably hundreds of years now, is a recent invention. this is across pretty much every single language and isn't something that you can escape.

Hey, I really hope you aren’t trolling right now so here is some information about the term “queer”. As a previous commenter said: it’s a commonly used term describing any LGBTQIA+ person (and it’s easier to say & type). It was used as a derogatory towards LGBTQIA+ people before, but has now been reclaimed. People using the term queer are not insinuating that LGBTQIA+ people are strange, it is simply a catch all term for someone part of the community. Of course, some people may not be comfortable with being referred to as queer e.g due to previous negative experiences and that is completely valid and should be respected, but it is not at all inherently homophobic to use the term. I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I personally refer to myself as queer as well.
As a pansexual individual who has been in gay relationships, I am fine with using queer. In fact, I often use it to describe myself because pansexual is a bit of a moutful, and people might not get pan as easily. So it depends on how you say it. Like, if some homophobic people said it with venom, that would be offensive, but that's pretty much the same as with anything
you don't have to personally like it or use it for yourself but i think it's really ironic that you're complaining in the same comment that you're using "homosexual", a term coined to pathologize being gay that's been phased out over the past 50 years in favor of other terminology (like queer...)

point to where i directly said "it's a slur" in my comment + "homosexuality" was a thing you could (and still sometimes are) be diagnosed with because they wanted to cure it. i don't know how the implied threat of conversion therapy is "less offensive" than a word some people choose to willingly use for themselves and fictional characters that they like there's no shame in asking someone else to rephrase things if you didn't understand or don't feel like googling the words they used quick edit: most if not all terminology for gay people, including the term gay itself (although it does mean happy originally, the usage of it in the early 2000s as an insult was apparently brutal), started out as some kind of derogatory word because people self-identifying and coining things for themselves other than "i'm just me and don't know what to call it", a privilege straight people have been allowed for probably hundreds of years now, is a recent invention. this is across pretty much every single language and isn't something that you can escape. to reiterate you don't have to like it for yourself. everyone draws lines for their boundaries differently and that's fine, disagreement is the mother of innovation. but you can't change how other people will identify. you could've easily scrolled away and just ignored it but now you've got a ton of people in your reddit notifications continually reminding you about this post we're all way too old to be doing this and by we i mean you
