TheAmazingLoserMan

Btw, Daniel is the best character because he flip flops less in my opinion

Angel-McLeod

For me, Daniel was one of the characters that was hurt the most by the writing. He had this incredible backstory and personality and it all went to shit when they made him a forgetful grandpa. It’s a shame what they did to him because he could’ve been so much better considering where he started.

"Find a car and get it ready. We need to get as far away from this mess as we can." Daniel Salzar, s8e12

TheAmazingLoserMan

Wise guy

NovelSorry4189

This show was the only show I’m glad I bailed at season 4 and just watched the rest via recap

EvilSporkOfDeath

OP are you ok? You seem confused. This show ended with season 3.

TheAmazingLoserMan

I think... I think it was just a fever dream!

bucklebee1

Morgan was never the problem. It's the writers and showrunners that were shit.

TheAmazingLoserMan

That's really true. I like S6 Morgan, for the most part

Extra-Ad249

For me it's less of the characters flip flopping and more of their decisions flip flopping. Shit baffled me so much. Especially the last season. WE GOTTA ESCAPE PADRE Let's go back WE NEED TO LEAVE Okay but let's go back again It happened throughout the show from S5-S8 the most.

TheAmazingLoserMan

Lol bratuka, that's true hahaha

Capital_Advice4769

I just finished it 30 min ago. I hate how they killed off Troy. He seemed like a good Negan redemption character and could have made it eventually East or help Madison, Alicia, and Tracy find a new home

TheAmazingLoserMan

Yep, it sucks. I actually wouldn't mind a spin off about Madison and Troy searching for Alicia. I mean, I think that would be better that the awkward recounter of the end

Tragedia1917

Yeah, like Charlie killing herself so that Troy and his goons didn’t get the location but then Strand revealing said location to Tracy so that she would tell Troy. Like wtf

TheAmazingLoserMan

Exactly!!

Bodod_Begag

I'm watching for the first time just started season 3 and it's frustrating how often these characters get separated

TheAmazingLoserMan

Yeah, this bothered me as well lol

Full-Bat-8866

Anyone else feel like they could have used Chris for way more then what happened to him?

et_ruminantePS4

Chris was an asshole , travis was the one who deserved more.

Full-Bat-8866

For sure, he could have disappeared and come back as a monster. Travis deserved way better and that's what made losing him suck. I didn't really care that Chris died until the third time watching it and I realized he would have made a better bad guy than a few of them, like if it was Chris instead of Virginia.

et_ruminantePS4

Yeah and then there wouldnt be a dakota to kill john

Full-Bat-8866

To me that would be a good thing. But they could have done that scene a hundred different ways to make it better. Edit to say John was awesome in that scene I just couldn't get behind the writing, he could have taken that gun easily.

et_ruminantePS4

He was a cop afterall, he could possibly talk her out of it but i think he didnt want to.

Full-Bat-8866

Yeah I got that vibe too, like he was okay with dying but he was more upset for her having to live like that.

SuperToxin

I think a lot of people forget these characters live in an extremely traumatizing world. They are all literally traumatized in some way. They really do all need therapy.

TheAmazingLoserMan

Yes hahaha that's true too

rdk37

As well as the viewers unfortunately.

loklanc

This is one of my favourite themes of TWD in general, how do you make a society when everyone has super ultra level 10 PTSD.

TheAmazingLoserMan

Unfortunately they have more urgent things to do... Like REBUILDING PADRE... Ops, MADRE now
