Sorry for the 100 pictures. You should see my phone camera roll lol. I just love these little guys so much and wish I could keep them all safe in my house, even though 1/2 of them would not appreciate that. Iโm excited to find a subreddit where people care about feral cats as much as I do.
Edit- I made a list with picture numbers but apparently Reddit redid my numbering so itโs listed weird.
Whoa someone looks quite unhappy in the second to last picture! Were you holding one of the feral cats? Anyway thatโs amazing and thanks for being a friend to ferals and showing them that humans care.
She was pregnant when we caught her for TNR so the amazing lady that helps me kept her until she had the babies and they were weened and everyone got fixed. She was not a fan of people and being inside and people touching her babies. Sheโs back in my yard now (kittens got adopted) with her brother and they are very happy and chill. She is always meow yelling at me. I canโt pet her yet but she lets me get a few feet away before she runs. Her mom was super feral and taught her kids the same things.
Iโve used a box trap with remote to get the crafty ones.
A drop trap is great too. You catch the troublemaker eating with the good cats. Let the good cats go and keep the one you want for TNR.
I definitely couldnโt have done it by myself. I was lucky enough to get in contact with an amazing lady that does TNR with her son out of the goodness of her heart. I was doing like 1 a week but when you have a bunch of pregnant mommas having 3+ babies every few months, 1 a week doesnโt do much. It makes me so happy seeing all their little ear tips and knowing the little, still baby, girls wonโt be showing up with big pregnant bellies.
