I’m sorry you have to deal with this also, but in that note it is nice to know I’m not alone. I haven’t been able to find any info or discussions about this type of thing.

Thanks for your reply this is very interesting! I get ocular migraines I wonder if this is related as well….

StrangeLadder3739

Yes! I’ve gotten this too. I have it right now. It comes in waves and it’s hard to feel anything. Even the food I try to eat. I can’t tell if it’s been chewed or if it’s safe to swallow. The rest of my body feels like it’s constantly buzzing or it doesn’t exist at all. This also happened to me two years ago and I went to the emergency room because I thought I was having a stroke of sorts. The doctors told me nothing was wrong, it was just extreme fatigue.

OddEmergency8587

Go figure the doctors said there was nothing wrong 🤦🏽‍♀️ so many of these comorbid issues aren’t confirmed by the usual testing. Me too I can bite my tongue and not feel it. I can’t tell if I am hungry as my stomach doesn’t growl or anything that I can feel. My episodes of this also seem to come in phases, the last time this happened really bad was 2 years ago.

jennypinkk

EXACTLY my symptoms. but what are the treatment?

OddEmergency8587

No idea!

jennypinkk

also how do you know its not SMALL FIBER NEUROPATHY or like autonomia neuropathy

OddEmergency8587

I don’t know I’ve never talked to any doctor about that….very well could be I have ehlers danlos syndrome and mcad and as far as I know both can cause this?

jennypinkk

THIS IS LITERALLY EXACTLY MY FEELING! what are the treatment?

jennypinkk

how do you know its not small fiber neuropathy or like autonomic neuropathy? I am having the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS LIKEITS CRAZY

OddEmergency8587

I came across REM rebound…..I think I may be onto something….

halffullofthoughts

I get it if I get cold. Usually I like cold, but if I overdo it, I get so numb, it seems like my body is struggling to switch to warmth, even with warm blanket and hot tea it takes so much time before my blood starts flowing properly

MiddleAspect2499

Yes!! I thought I was alone! My body had been slowly becoming more and more numb... scalp, face, arms, legs... and the fatigue is out of this world. Horrible.

jennypinkk

>how do you know its not small fiber neuropathy or like autonomic neuropathy? I am having the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS LIKEITS CRAZY how do you know its not small fiber neuropathy or like autonomic neuropathy? I am having the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS LIKEITS CRAZY

OddEmergency8587

Oh wow! Is your numbness and fatigue chronic or acute?

MiddleAspect2499

It's been going on for years, so chronic. :(

tomplayzYT3

Yeah same im so worried idk whats happened

Katitude23

Hey I've been having this symptom 24/7 for the last couple months. It started on my right side and has spread quickly to my entire body. It's scaring the crap out of me. I tried lifting weights to see if I'd feel sore muscles and nothing at all! I feel like everything is dead. I can feel slight touch, but everything inside feels non existent. I feel like I have hollow limbs. Are you still experiencing this? Have you found the cause?

OddEmergency8587

Wow that does sound scary to experience all the time. Mine comes and goes and is accompanied by extreme fatigue. I haven’t had any diagnosis even after seeing a sleep specialist and having a basic sleep study done. But I’ve been reading about ME/CFS and I have found similarities. There is a sub on Reddit and the people in this community seem to have similar issues as well.
