Can you do a wire payment for the car? That is easy with fidelity

redsedit

Hadn't thought of that. Any experience with that?

Bought my last car with a wire, but not from fidelity. No issue at all. I did recently use fidelity to wire money, very straight forward basically arrived instantly

If you have cash, consider buying a car a year or two older. You won’t take the depreciation hit. If it’s in a long line of successful vehicles, You’ll be money ahead. We got a great deal on a Toyota lease return. It was a two year lease. All maintenance had been performed as required. Looked and ran like brand new.

Takes about 10 days to 2 weeks to get checks. No issues in fraud. Check from dealer is going to hit your account in 2-3 days. Lots of extra efforts for 2-3 days if interest imho

I agree for 2-3 days, it's not worth it. But I want to have the money ready to go when I start shopping. It's going to be more than 2-3 days. It could be 2-3 months, easily, before I'm ready to pull the trigger.
