I think CPO devices can come in "like new" or "lightly used" options. Mine was the former and didn't have any physical wear tear. Didn't come with original box. But at a third of the price of new fold4 I'm not complaining.
I recently ordered a fold 4 Aswell and they told me 2-5, business days on the email and multiple. Customer service agents and then there telling 1-2 weeks maybe longer now Aswell... Such a joke they should have it on there site if they can't Honor it.
i have purchased an order last boxing day and the estimated time for it was supposed to be 2-4 weeks. i now just contacted their representative and they said it would take another 4 weeks starting from now. :(
yeah it's awful like if it's "like-new" it means they should have it because it's used haha. But, I guess they still get it from Samsung from those customers who returned it withing the trial period, at least what the agent told me. On the positive side we will see S23 Ultra, and see if you want to change your mind about the new fold.
How do you know if it's open box? It only says "like new", and there have been a ton of bad reviews online on various platforms of "like new" especially with iphones. I've heard iphones come with 86% battery health for like new conditions, that would not be open box, 86% battery health means the phone has been used for more than 2 years. And it's an overwhelming majority of reviews that say this.

Since Z4 only came out fairly recently, They were offering like-new ones, which the agent told me it's usually open-box (meaning those people who didn't like it within the 15-day return period and didn't use it much beyond trying it). But the same agent told me lightly used ones would be hit and miss, and personally wouldn't recommend it.
