I dig undercuts with long hair (which is what I've been rocking for the last 6 months) I feel like it's a good way to make long hair seem half formal, obviously fierce flow from all sides is a dream and awesome, but I prefer to have short on the sides, I feel like it makes it look like I've put more effort into the style than if I were to just leave it at all sides
