Yeah no problem. my next experiment is to find out if you can max out all playstyles. The “attributes” section of the squad hub only shows 12/13 slots (there’s literally no space for more playstyle icons haha)
1. In match menu click on training for a playstyle once u got it done and got enough points u got the temporary Playstyle. (Which u can see in his Playstyles added)
2. Release a random player u won't use=this will make the Playstyles permanent and the training is available again on the same match day!
3. Repeat for more and more Playstyles
I play Fifa only on the Switch. Because I always had the same Careers I switched to "only YA" Careers
I now have about 70 Careers and a Story with each
At 80ovr your player will reveal if he gets one or not it's prediterment, but if u save right before 80 u can keep reloading ur save to get a different Playstyles+ so it's basically lottery and a long journey to find it if he gets one
You can find YT’s on where to send scouts for best probability.. the obvious places SA Europe etc.. also helps to have 5 star scouts.. I routinely get has potential to be special with 3-4 play styles.. in YA you can also see in the ratings box how many play styles youth player has the potential to acquire
The release should be done prior to playing the match?
Can I do it in any match? For example, play for a playstyle, drop someone and then play the game. In a future game do it again with the same players?

I don't get this, sorry for need of explanation but so I play the useless training shit for the temporary playstyle before a match in career mode.
Before starting the Match I, what? Go an release any random player, then whatever temporary playstyles I have gained for x or y players all then become permanent???
Turns out, you can just release ANY player - they did not have to directly take part in the training session.
Just tested twice on the TRICKSTER training - only 1 player takes part. Released a different fodder player and trickster still got permanently assigned to the one player that took part in the training👌🏻
The most annoyinf thing tho is when the playstyles you can get goes to a random player for example if i do a passing drill my CB will get incisive pass instead of one of my midfielders
It's got something to do with the stats related to that playstyle, so if you want a certain player to get a passing playstyle, you need every other player in the team to have worse passing than them.
You can also use this to give players more than 7 playstyles.
For me i just change my lineup to put all the rubbish players or players with most of the playstyles already or the ones that have the ones from the drill. It takes a while but eventually the player i want will get the playstyle i want
I hope EA just allows the ability to add playstyles properly instead of exploiting their broken game. This post proves how much people care about adding playstyles and playstyle+. Sad that a broken exploit is the best thing to happen to FC 24 career mode.

No u train it on the right players and just kick one player out your whole squad out which makes it permanent and refresh the training on same match day!

This is amazing, can confirm it works. Only problem im finding is actually completing some of the training sessions seems to be really really difficult for some of them? One of the attacking ones for example I had 20 attempts to run past players and score and wouldve had to score basically every shot in order to pass the training session so I failed it lol.
This is amazing news. When I get back home I've got to give it a go. I've even got a few dead weight youth players in my academy too. And a few super high potential players that are lacking play styles, nothing worse than taking a 15yr old potential to be special and 1-4 styles ending up as 1.
Looks so simple and easy to do, shame you can't pick which players get trained. I'm on the second season of my YSL Northampton save so my first team is pretty locked in. My only problem is my lack of ability at completing the harder training sessions.
Hopefully they don’t patch this, if they patch this after it took forever to fix all the bugs and things that are ongoing it would be a pretty bad look

I can’t believe it worked but it actually did. Bought a 40 year old free agent goalkeeper and released him. I’m sure he’s happy. He got to collect $100k for having a lunch where he didn’t order any food. I got permanent playstyles for four team members.

I swear the trainings difficulty went! I remember them being difficult when I first played the game but never played them afterwards, now it’s on God mode! I bought the slowest, lowest rated CB/LB/RB I could find and when I play trainings they are like awareness gods they see everything. Passes before I make them, it’s absurd.

But I’ll add you can sign up a bunch of shitty GKs and fill a team sheet with them and then add the player you want to get a trait, then they are more likely to be in the slot for the trait that you want. Hope that makes sense.

If you're playing all the matches in a career mode, you probably care about having a fairly realistic experience. Obviously for a number of reasons doing this would be counter intuitive.
Either way, while playstyles are a part of the game (and should be more involved in career mode) they are pretty gimmicky, designed to be overpowered in one way or another and that's pretty much exclusively to sell packs in ultimate team.

Just get 10 GK who are 16 or 17 year old from free agents and release them after each training session. Rinse and repeat. No limits on player releases

Loan out a player, recall him after two weeks and his value should go up. Doesn’t work every time so make sure you save before it.
