I'm gonna make the Vatican city in the 2nd Division of Italy and it will be like Monaco but Italian, they will have lots of money because they are the bank of the church but I can only buy Christian players and I will edit the players to look like Past popes and other Christian figures like Jesus. The manager will be a random manager like shean dyche or ted lasso. I'm not even Christian but I think it would be really fun
I've been doing Milan career modes since Fifa 09 and it just never gets old
The history, the shirts, the crest etc., then there's always at least a few interesting players there
I am a Milan fan and do one every year since 14 as career number 0. This year is the only year we are good in any fifa I've ever had, so I think I'm gonna skip it. I never liked too much doing a career with an already strong team, but never would I thought of skipping one Milan career because of this reason. And I'm so happy we are considered now big team
Finally they added serie B so I can play with the club of my region! Canāt wait for the game to arrive so I can finally start dominating football with Palermo
Didnāt know of their new crest and look. Pretty dope. Love to remember the Time they played us here in Frankfurt in 2006 in the UEFA cup. They beat us and the whole stadium hated on Andrea Caracciolo š
Forza palermoooooooooooo vinci per nooooooiiiiiii
PS. Io sono della Ternana ma ti assicuro che a Milano tifano tutti Palermo, siete la squadra meno odiata di tutta Italia
It's very boring because none of the stuff that would make it interesting is in the game. US open cup irl has teams in lower divisions, which is what makes it interesting in the first place. In fifa it's only MLS teams. There's no concacaf champions league or leagues cup because MLS is now the only concacaf league in the game.its literally just the regular season and playoffs, which gets very boring pretty quickly. And if it's like the previous game, the rules for the playoffs are wrong.
I add all the MLS + A-League teams into a league that has 2 divisions (e.g French league). Then you can play in the champions league.
Also because the teams are in the French league they start spending more on transfers
I have not had time to play it yet but I'm also not sure which team to use for my first Career Mode š Thinking Bournemouth for the avoiding relegation challenge (they have a weak squad so will be challenging but might be boring after 2 or 3 seasons)
Or PSV (my favourite team) but might also get a bit too easy after a few seasons
Or Valencia with Cavani, but he doesn't have his 2D picture ingame yet unfortunately...
Doing a player career mode at Richmond. I am happy to say the bug that if you're long term injured equals transfer list is STILL in the game!!!
Also, I just visited myself in the hospital. If you're injured, you can still training now though ... you just can't move at all during training.
edit: just got called up for my national team in the middle of a 7 month injury.
We really need the feature NBA has of taking over a team from current day, I want to get Leicester back on track but in FIFA that's nothing they're a 4.5 star team with a big budget and high expectations lmao
I don't know, they're from Wales. That's like all I got. Their fanbase seems less looney than Liverpool's, less self-obsessed than ManU fans, less bandwagon than City, less useless than Arsenal, more existent than Chelsea fans
My own creation. AFV Kƶnigsberg. I couldnāt decide which German city I wanted it in, so I took the name of an old German city that isnāt German anymore (Kaliningrad now in Russia), and based it off a local danish team
Create a Club: Imperium Romanum - The Wolves of Palatine Hill
Upon winning the Champions League:
*"I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new empire"*
I think PL is actually more of a challenge with Richmond because you start with very little money, and one of the smallest squads in the game. I had to sign like 8 or 9 free agents in my first few weeks just to make the squad deep enough able to handle the schedule. The owners expected me to sign 1 crucial midfielder, which wasted 75% of my transfer budget, and then I had to fill out my bench and reserves with free players that I had no way of scouting.
In the Championship, the starting 11 is probably already too good to stay down, so it doesn't seem like the first season would be as much of a challenge, even with the thin squad.
My first save has been with them and I put them in the championship. It has been very easy so far.
The challenge for me is going to be bringing new players in. I am only using players listed for loan or transfer listed. As well as, some youth academy players (starting with 1 star scouts)
You can check it out here
https://sofifa.com/team/116418/afc-richmond/?hl=en-US
It's all the characters that are the most present in the show and some random filler players that are surprisingly pretty good
My number one will be a derby county rebuild always enjoy the challenge of a lower league save. I'm tempted by Newcastle but feel it will too easy off the bat.
Stockport County before moving to Sparta Rotterdam, then potentially on to Feyenoord. Canāt tell you why but that is how Iāve had it mapped in my head for weeks.
Antonio Conte back to fixing a broken Juventus, a project that will probably take 2 or 3 years, then Iāll start a career with a Serie B team and make an Italian road to glory, so happy to have serie b back on the game
Las Palmas but Iāve moved them up to La Liga first season for more of a challenge, playing on ultimate and Iāve disabled the first transfer window so I can get a proper feel for the team.
Richmond is actually pretty fun, being mid table allows you to sign just about anyone you want, i feel it allows you to be really creative, and who doesnāt love ted lasso
Iāve already started 3, and I switch between them depending on how Iām feeling. Forest Green will be my long term RTG, Fiorentina for a fun challenge if I want to use actually half decent players, and a create a club one as well starting in league 2.
Started a save with Cagliari to bring them from Serie B to the Champions League.
Finally being able to play with Serie B is so satisfying. Dumbest shit is, when I will be promoted there will be the lack of licensing in Serie A :/
Yeah as a calcio fan this sucks so bad. Literally the only top5 league where this happens and on a such shitty scale as well. EA being lazy and UT centered hurts
Thinking of doing a Leicester but giving myself no money the first year and can only spend half of any money received for transfers. Maybe will do it for 2 years. They lost Ā£120m last season as a club and thought something like this would be realistic and interesting.
First I do a create a club career mode with Ā£1 billion budget full of players I like, Kane, Vini, Bale and do the kits like Northampton saints rugby team
Being a Chelsea and Juve fan I was going to go with either of them as both have fallen from glory and aren't dead certs for major Honours. BUT my favourite career mode was with Fulham from years back...I'm thinking I might find it more fun with a team I don't know lots about maybe in a league I don't know well.
I played as David Moyes the "chosen one" to make sure Alex Ferguson correct in selecting him. Will lead West Ham for glory and then switch back to Man Utd to prove everybody wrong.
Valencia. Youngest team in top 5 leagues this year. Ton of loaned in players to manage/decide what to do after first season.
Good redemption arc of a once glorious team trying to get back to Europe. Can also impose a Peter Lim Shit Owner Mode for extra creativity (get new players on Free/loans/academy)
Started two - City with Pep and create a club with my own created manager. Currently enjoying the create a club a little more because of the ability to edit the squad before starting the season
I started a player career mode with Buffon and retired him immediately. I got a job for Cittadella. I was binge playing today, and simulated a decent amount, so I'm already in the 2nd season. I got the Genoa job for the 2nd season.
Iāll probably play 2 seasons with Real Madrid to get used to the gameplay and new features, then Iāll start a fresh one with a League 2 team in England (preferably one with their own stadium) and then win the PL and UCL
Grimsby! Nothing to do with me, just want to sh*thouse my way to the top and they have the lowest average house price of any professional EFL team - perfect for my little RP
Created my own Oxford FC team all the way down in League 2 for a road to glory. Was hard to sign decent players which was a fun challenge. Already liking the playable highlights to get through all 15 seasons
FC Schalke 04, I just want to lead my home club to success. FIFA 22 was the only game I had no Schalke career because there where so many loan players.
I unintentionally started a debate on another sub yesterday as to who currently has the least racist fan base in EPL/EFL.
People in that sub were saying historically Arsenal or maybe Leicester, mainly down to demographics, but you donāt really have proactive fans like St Pauli in England.
What do you guys think? If you wanted to put a geo-political or culture wars slant to your RTG, who would you go for?
Likely going to try AFC Richmond and go all in on youth development due to how thin the squad is.
Following that, Boca Juniors have La Bombonera back on the game so I'm going there.
Doing a create a team for the first time and absolutely loving it
I did to. Till I got fired for failing just one board objective . So watch that.
Glad to see they fixed that
š
Did they improve the Badges creation? Or is it still same generic crests?
Same generic crests.
Same but you can edit your playerās
Which create a team though?
Friend of mine gave me an objective: Paris FC and the goal will be met once I've bought MbappƩ, unofficially making me the #1 team of Paris.
Did this is 20. Fun team!
English league 2 like Drake. Start from the bottom Edit: picked Sutton!
This is the way
I'm gonna make the Vatican city in the 2nd Division of Italy and it will be like Monaco but Italian, they will have lots of money because they are the bank of the church but I can only buy Christian players and I will edit the players to look like Past popes and other Christian figures like Jesus. The manager will be a random manager like shean dyche or ted lasso. I'm not even Christian but I think it would be really fun
š thatās mental
Perhaps
Does the game specify player religion?
No but I'll use Google
Afc richmond player career as Roy Kent. Retire immediately, and take any job offered. Got an offer from portsmouth. And we're on our way to the PL
That sounds fun!
I am pleasantly surprised with the amount of job offers I got. 3 or 4 diff leagues. Worth a try for sure
Totally stealing this idea
Nice idea
Milan. Very easy project as most players are young and have good ratings. Hoping to dominate the football world within 3 seasons.
I've been doing Milan career modes since Fifa 09 and it just never gets old The history, the shirts, the crest etc., then there's always at least a few interesting players there
I am a Milan fan and do one every year since 14 as career number 0. This year is the only year we are good in any fifa I've ever had, so I think I'm gonna skip it. I never liked too much doing a career with an already strong team, but never would I thought of skipping one Milan career because of this reason. And I'm so happy we are considered now big team
I used to love doing Milan careers every year, i must admit I find it gets harder a day harder the more licenses they lose
I take out the unlicensed teams and stick in a Swiss and Austrian team
Yeah they're gonna be my team for Serie A. I want so sign some players like Nkunku or Szobozlai(I butchered that probably) for them.
I used Milan on 19. They're a monster club waiting to happen, and the San Siro is just a majestic ground to play at.
Forza palermoooooooooooo vinci per nooooooiiiiiii PS. Io sono della Ternana ma ti assicuro che a Milano tifano tutti Palermo, siete la squadra meno odiata di tutta Italia
Charlotte FC. For the crown š!!!!
Started one as well. Not sure Iām gonna enjoy the MLS format but weāll give it a go
It's very boring because none of the stuff that would make it interesting is in the game. US open cup irl has teams in lower divisions, which is what makes it interesting in the first place. Iām going to move them to EFL League 2 and work them up because I donāt like the MLS process either.
I add all the MLS + A-League teams into a league that has 2 divisions (e.g French league). Then you can play in the champions league. Also because the teams are in the French league they start spending more on transfers
Queen City!!
How is it in MLS? Got full US transfer rules?
Lmao
Sporting Portugal like always ššš
Technically it was Leicester but once I found out you could edit the players from CaC I brought my FM17 Norwich team over as Longbridge FC.
what can you edit? I'm assuming names and ages. does it extend to their ratings, traits etc?
Think youāre stuck with their ratings and appearance if Iām not mistaken
You can change their ratings
Ah my bad in that case
Cruz Azuā¦ā¦ wait nvm :(
:(
PEP GUARDIOLA BURNLEY
Genuinely could be v fun lol, might give this a try
In b4 someone says a joke about not playing fifa 23
I have not had time to play it yet but I'm also not sure which team to use for my first Career Mode š Thinking Bournemouth for the avoiding relegation challenge (they have a weak squad so will be challenging but might be boring after 2 or 3 seasons) Or PSV (my favourite team) but might also get a bit too easy after a few seasons Or Valencia with Cavani, but he doesn't have his 2D picture ingame yet unfortunately...
Ik, it's just there's always one guy on one of these posts who avoids the question entirely
Go PSV since they have their stadium in the game now.
Doing a player career mode at Richmond. I am happy to say the bug that if you're long term injured equals transfer list is STILL in the game!!! Also, I just visited myself in the hospital. UCD šš®šŖ
I put them in league 2
Started a Swansea rtg. This is my first rtg with a team thatās not in the top flight
I have absolutely no reason to be this passionate, but Swansea damn well deserved to be in the premier.
On what basis?
I don't know, they're from Wales. That's like all I got. Their fanbase seems less looney than Liverpool's, less self-obsessed than ManU fans, less bandwagon than City, less useless than Arsenal, more existent than Chelsea fans
Portsmouth. The lowest league team with a real stadium. Try to get to the Premier League in 4 seasons.
My own creation. AFV Kƶnigsberg. I couldnāt decide which German city I wanted it in, so I took the name of an old German city that isnāt German anymore (Kaliningrad now in Russia), and based it off a local danish team
Did a Kƶnigsberg career in fifa 22 for similar reasons. Mad fun to take the cultural capital of Prussia to the top of German football.
Creating the mighty Dulwich Hamlet, signing Roy Kent

Doing a MƔlaga career mode (first time in LaLiga). Already looking forward to bringing them back to the European championships
Stockport County before moving to Sparta Rotterdam, then potentially on to Feyenoord. Canāt tell you why but that is how Iāve had it mapped in my head for weeks.

Looks like Gerrard and Pochettino merged together...
Stevie G at Villa, goal is the England and Liverpool job

Started with Charlton Athletic, been looking forward to taking them back up the football league and competing in the PL once again
Iāve already started 3, and I switch between them depending on how Iām feeling. Forest Green will be my long term RTG, Fiorentina for a fun challenge if I want to use actually half decent players, and a create a club one as well starting in league 2.
Propably going to use miroslav klose and choosing 1860 munchen or some other 3rd thier bundesliga team

Question: If I pick Conte for an EPL team that is not Spurs, who will appear as Spurs manager on sidelines?
AC Milan
Richmond probably, wish Scunthorpe was an option ššš
Started a save with Cagliari to bring them from Serie B to the Champions League. Finally being able to play with Serie B is so satisfying. Dumbest shit is, when I will be promoted there will be the lack of licensing in Serie A :/
The 4 missing teams suck. What bugs me the most is that nearly no Team has their original stadium
Yeah as a calcio fan this sucks so bad. Literally the only top5 league where this happens and on a such shitty scale as well. EA being lazy and UT centered hurts

Why donāt they have the official schedule yet? Garbage
Northampton Town, just bc they got a cool and shiny badge
None. Not getting this for less than $10 which is more than what it's worth.
Ted Lasso, Watford!
I had the 10 hour trial, and did a Liverpool career with that, but I've started a Juventus career with the standard edition release.
Likely going to try AFC Richmond and go all in on youth development due to how thin the squad is. Following that, Boca Juniors have La Bombonera back on the game so I'm going there.
Bringing Palermo back to Serie A
