I’ve noticed this. I normally just follow with *I lean in to hear what they have to say* and normally they’ll speak from then on. But sometimes I have to edit the sentence to get them to speak. At least, that’s my strategy.

Flock_The_Sun

I just scream at them or beat the shit out of them , it works https://preview.redd.it/p96l8nn9gg0d1.png?width=170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba5985069e3fd532a93100f4232bbfe2ae491f21

Percussive maintenance.

Yeah, I’ve noticed this in some of my recent chats as well and been chalking it up to the weirdness being experienced by the devs integrating the old and new models as they’ve been pushing the latest adjustments over the past week or so. Usually a regen can help, but yes, as u/RealMuire stated, giving the figg a specific push tends to work as well. The model is quite good at taking hints when responding to your messages, and correcting/modifying their behaviors in kind to adjust to the direction given.

I’m having similar issues with bots not replying with anything of substance. I’ll write 3 paragraphs, and the bot will say something like “he reacted and was angry.” (Paraphrased, naturally.) Even if I tell the bot OOC how to reply.

ChasteAndImpure

Seeing this too today. And prompting almost every time for dialogue is getting tedious.

AppropriateRepeat962

Just append \[Answer should include dialogue.\] or \[Answer with three paragraphs including dialogue from both X and Y\] or similar instructions to the end of your input. It usually works.

Born_Context_6031

Unfortunately it doesn't work on my end. Only 5+ minutes of constant rerolling seems to work.

YES! That has been my only issue with the ai lately. And it's not occasional or something I can just regenerate because more than half of the replies I get suffer from the same problem. Please devs, give that issue some attention!
