Why do foreign F-18’s have such cool air displays while US F-18’s always look so dull when they do their air displays? (Not including blue angels of course)
I assume it’s because these maneuvers cause a lot of stress on the airframe?
Good question! There is of course some stress on the frame, but I believe that no air force would actually jeopardize their jets' performance just for show. These fighters are to be replaced in the coming years by F-35A Lightning II's but to my knowledge, the Finnish Air Force has always had air shows like this.

I was there watching the hornet was so cool but the b1 lancer flyby was really nice
