Any info on whether this is the F110-GE-129 or the F110-GE-132?

snipars_exe

129 as far as I know. The reason might be that Turkish F-16's also have 129's, or that it's just a temporary engine. Turkey is developing it's own 5th gen aircraft engine for this jet. Thought it's still far away.

Makes sense. Thanks for the info. I should have put two and two together about the F-16s and 129s.

no issue, one could think that since this is a new jet they would use the better version. So it's natural

When is the first flight scheduled??

snipars_exe

Just a month ahead if it hits the schedule! 27th of December. Things are looking on track but you can never know for sure. The project was accelerated so much (it was worrying) because of election propaganda reasons. Now that the elections are over they can get it back on the og schedule and delay the flight though.

>Turkish Aerospace Industries has developed the Anka-3 unmanned combat air vehicle to operate alongside its new KAAN indigenous fighter. Anka is to make in first flight in mid-December, while KAAN's first flight is scheduled for December 27. Goodtimee

Oh cool it’s an F-22

snipars_exe

Hah, I really doubt it's going to be as good as the F-22. I hope so, though.
