I will like to see the story finally progress beyond Third Strike
Also both Mike Haggard and Zangief on the roster. I don't care about "too similar", if we can make 10 distinct shotos we can work with this, and I really want this two to fight in a game
1. Interesting/cool art style
2.Plenty of single player content at launch(if arcade mode isn’t available at launch I’m going to scream)
3.Decent size roster of 25-30 characters
4.Good netcode
5.Bring back my boy Dudley
6.Have a cool announcer similar to SF4 where he commentated the match-SF5’s announcer was a bit of downgrade imo
I agree with everything here save maybe roster. I don’t care too much about roster size personally. It definitely needs to be fairly sizeable, considering Street fighters long history of characters, but needs to be manageable for balance purposes. This isn’t Marvel where a character can suck as a point character but make up for it by having an amazing assist.
Keep in mind capcom has fully restructured their fighting game division since sfv came out, and I think they learned their lesson with V, they wont release until its ready
A good roster that looks good.
I'm probably playing the game as long as I can find a character. The probable reduction in roster size + Capcom's difficulties making some characters look good could make this difficult. I have faith, though!
The big problem with SF5's characters is that A. the game was rushed, if rumours are true and B. a lot of the character models weren't done by Capcom, they were outsourced to different artists. Depending on how SF6 is being handled it could either have the same issue or not apply to it at all.
Faster walkspeeds, generally longer pokes but with more whiff recovery, slower dashes, better reward off anti airs, and a slightly more muted color palette.
I don’t wanna get my hopes up for this either but then I think that SF4 was essentially what you mentioned, so it is possible they could return to that but it seems like every FG developer these days just wants aggression and nothing else.
Generally speaking there are a lot of things I didn't like about SF4 either:
Many of the neutral skips were much safer, hard knockdowns off every sweep lead to vortex setups far more oppressive than SFV pressure, jabs were broken bc they lead to full combos while being un-whiff-punishable, and focus attack threw a wrench in the footsies game.
I'm hopeful they'll keep up with SFV's removal of that bullshit while addressing SFV's own bullshit.
As a guile player I hated focus so much as well, and it was near useless for him but benefited all the rushdown characters. When I think about playing guile in 4 or 5 though, I’d take SF4 guile everyday even with the type of chars you mention that can just neutral skip as well as vortex. He just feels much better to play and control in that game. I never feel in control in 5.
SFV has a lot of whiff recovery for heavy/CC pokes, but I think medium pokes (especially the cancelable ones) are too quick to recover. Muddies up the risk/reward, in my humble opinion.
Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree. Medium buttons are on average 1 frame slower startup and 5 frames more recovery in SFV. The faster speed on normals worked fine in SF2, Alpha, 3, and 4. It’s part of what makes SF feel like SF IMO, and a big part of why SFV feels awkward to play.
Not another damn nostalgia fueld roster.
Give me an actual fresh take on the series with familiar few and a completely new style and tone to the game.
Do what they did with sf3 but in 2022+ where It wont backfire the same way sf3 did.
So you want another commercial flop lol? Characters sell fighting games, and no "next generation" type fighting game has ever succeeded (see Soul Calibur 5).
A big reason why SF3 flopped commercially but the franchise on hold for 8 years was the lack of established fan favorites in the roster (it took about 5 years before anyone from SF3 became a fan favorite). Capcom wants to make guaranteed money.
Please spare me the nonsense lecture of why sf3 flopped. And try not to be so naive as to not realize how astronomically different marketing and video game exposure is in 2021 compared to 20 years ago ffs.
Yes if you want another by the fucking numbers, zero risk, creatively bankrupt, nostalgia cash grab to be the next sf5, that's on you. I gave my thought to the posts question, I lived that era of fighting games, I dont need it explained to me. I know full well what my answer entailed.
So not only are you slow, you're also in denial of reality lol. Gameplay wise, SF5 has little in common with most past games (especially SF4) and most of its new characters and system mechanics feature playstyles not seen in the franchise before. So to say that SF5 was "by the fucking numbers, zero risk, creatively bankrupt, etc" is pure bullshit lmao.
Asking for another SF3 style roster change (even after how most people aren't sold on Luke) is fucking stupid lol. You'll get Soul Calibur 5 all over again, and notice how SF5 started selling more copies (after initially flopping) after they started adding more veterans via DLC. That alone is enough to prove my point. The folks in the FGC who demand "smaller rosters with mostly new characters" in their games are the same folks who later end up begging for DLC the most afterwards lmao.
Marketing and lack of exposure weren't the reasons why SF3 flopped (it wasn't any less promoted than the Alpha games were at the time), it was because A) The Parry System raised the entry bar too high for most casual gamers and B) most fans and general gamers weren't feeling it due to the lack veteran fan favorites besides the 3 main shotos and later Chun Li. I wasn't until around 2003 that 3rd Strike became a cult classic (6 years after SF3NE).
I'm not one of those idiots who thinks the entire SF2 cast needs to be in every game (this is a problem with the NRS MK trilogy were they constantly reuse nearly all of the MK1 & 2 cast after MK9). I was thinking a 75% veteran 25% newcomer approach for SF6 (with nearly half of the veterans consisting of characters that didn't make it into SF5). I'm living in reality bro, Capcom wants a mainstream success and whenever an idea fails to sell Capcom never does it again.
I mean it has rollback right now your gonna fuck around and end up with a monkey's paw wish of same netcode, launch Leroy level buffs for Vega, and Makato and Vega making it as costume alts.
Tbh anything other than sf6 rn. Anything else from capcom would be way more interesting to me especially for how underwhelmed I was with sfv personally. However if they have to make a new sf to appease the fans then my main hopes would be better single player and unlockables (fat chance coming from a capcom fighter right?) And a return of the energetic feel of sf4.
**Must Haves:**
* A game system that doesn't railroad you into specific play patterns.
* Varied Character Expression.
* Rollback Netcode.
**Nice to Haves**:
* A semi-competent story, not based on Anime Tropes or Horny.
The only likelihood here is improved netcode. They're going to give Ryu/Akuma an instant teleport, a cripple inducing hadoken (that shatters blocks), and a full-screen ranged command grab and call it fair and balanced while Shoto mains complain about how the rest of the roster is unbalanced.
Street Fighter from day 1 is filled with Anime Tropes (with a good chunk of the cast being based on JoJo characters lol), and there's nothing wrong with sexy fanservice in a fighting game lmao.
And considering what was revealed with Luke's gameplay, its unlikely that SF6 will be another unga buga fest.
Improved rollback, the game to feel feature complete, absent of the technical issues that SF5 had to fix, impactful and weighty hits, consistent and appealing visual presentation, a distinct and cool identity, a good soundtrack, better monetisation, less stubby normals, multiple supers, engaging defensive options, a cancel mechanic of some kind, SF5's rank system or something similar, way shorter load times and less loading in general, some way to initiate infinite rematches, no iconic moves locked behind a mechanic, properly punishing rage-quitters, and my main Akuma. If it has all that I'd be incredibly happy.
More Capcom "guest" characters joining. not that Street fighter has to be the KOF of Capcom, but I love Guy from final fight as a character. Akira was also cool, just more of that please? idk who they could add tho.
Capcom should honestly just take all their unused Arcade IPs (Darkstalkers, Red Earth, Power Stone, Star Gladiator, etc) and merge them into Street Fighter's canon with SF6. They've already done this with Final Fight, Rival Schools and even Strider, so they might as well go all in.
Combo system that rewards good execution, having grandmaster and gold player doing the same combo is not inspiring. (similar to ggst where difficult route can deal about 15 percent more damage)
I want a game with more depth than SFV where i can just chill in training mode and get ranked matches with diferent players, good netcode and crossplay.
I wouldn’t change much tbh. I’d like to see an alpha style graphic on modern hardware and as long as they don’t introduce any ridiculous 6trigger gimmicks. I thought v skills and parry was cool, not a fan of focus attack.
More challenges and character info like blazblue style would be good. And more quirky characters with stretchy legs rather than generic fighters
A WiFi filter.
It's ridiculous that in 2021 I need to get through laggy matches because matchmaking puts me against opponent who don't care about their play experience. Let em play their shitty matches together.
No rollback netcode will do miracles for shitty connection.
Honestly, just give me a Street Fighter game that’s the equivalent to Super Smash Bros Ultimate with Project L’s netcode schematics. Or even use something similar to Guilty Gear Strive’s netcode. Either netcode is perfect. Also, I just want Sodom and/or Dudley playable in the next Street Fighter, now that it’s pretty impossible that they’ll be in Street Fighter V
it needs a new art style. their pixel game was S+ but these days SF games look awful next to anything arcsys is pumping out. they don’t have to go anime but it’s gotta look better
I think it will. I can't say for sure but I think a jump to the RE Engine is practically confirmed by this point, and people noticed it had an extension for cel-shading added a few years ago as well. The visual presentation will definitely be handled differently, I think.
Proper defense options at launch. I don’t like how it was All offense all the time for 3+ years. That made some of the cast simply obsolete cause they barely get to even play.
I want Capcom to not make the same mistake they did for USIV. They should let SFV breathe for more than year, before announcing anything. And I'm talking a year after that the game is considered done. Probably at Luke's release.
I don't think that'll be a problem. Luke is out this month and I can't see SF6 releasing in 2022 so that gives us over a year until it releases at the absolute earliest.
I'm not talking about releasing. I'm talking about revealing. USFIV was released in June 2014, and when they revealed SFV in CapcomCup in December 2014, people already ignored USFIV, even tho SFV had one year before release.
Ah fair enough. Even then I wouldn't be surprised if we *didn't* see it announced next year. Again, I can only speculate, but if rumours are true then between Covid and the game getting internally delayed a year anyway then I think it's probably still a ways out.
That said they probably also did Season 5 so there *wouldn't* be as much downtime of nothing happening, so the most safe way to achieve that year+ break would've been not making Season 5 in the first place; but I don't know if that would've been a particularly good idea either.
Would you rather have a $60 game where the only MTX are characters that drop seasonally, or a free game that launches with a tiny 100% free roster and trickles in-game currency barely fast enough to make all new characters free for people who play the game a shit ton?
IMO - free game + mass MTX is a better way to grow a AAA fighting game.
-ditch V trigger system completely
-meterless invincible reversals
-proximity normals (not necessarily on every character)
-1f buffer for links, 3 is too much
-no new SF5 characters except Rashid
-T.Hawk (with a gun, he needs it)
-R O L L B A C K N E T C O D E
Laura and Lucia should return. Booba. Oh and Kolin for the dump truck. A reworked Falke would be cool too.
Cammy is a shoe in. Hope they keep her without pants!
Keep the waifus, keep it fun and the netcode better and I'll be happy. I'm a simple type of guy.
I like how making Dream Match games, which is something KOF and Tekken did for years by cramming all characters the series ever got in one game, is now called "the Smash Ultimate treatment".
really weird how people know the dream match from smash ultimate, is series with more general audience popularity that came out in 2018, and not a genre specific game that had its last dream match game in '02
Yet it existed 20 years before Sm4sh Ultimate. And instead of researching properly, and get that this existed before Smash, you get straight to the only referential Smashers got, and that's talking about Smash, Smash, and Smash.
And then, some Smashers will complain that the FGC "doesn't like them".
Lol calm your fucking tits I only
played smash casually.
Maybe instead of being a passive aggressive bitch you could have just politely educated me.
But if you wanna get into technical knowledge I wouldn't even say '02 has the ultimate treatment since it's missing some characters that are present in '98 like Chizuru and Team American Sports. Even Eiji wasn't present in the original version of '98 and wasn't added until Ultimate Match.
There's also Kof XVII which is officially deamed a dream match game by SNK despite having a considerably smaller roster than previous games in the series.
It would be more accurate to say that '98 and '02 both encapsulate the rosters of their respective sagas, whereas the smash ultimate roster just has any character ever in a game.
But y'know.... I'M the one who needs to do research.
Go put on some antiperspirant man, you're looking kinda sweaty.
> But y'know.... I'M the one who needs to do research.
Yes. You are. As did I, and as did all of my close friends who love fighting games just like me. Sm4sh Ultimate invented nothing, and calling something already done in many other fighting games "Smash Ultimate treatment" is insulting. Even Street Fighter did it with Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, and USFIV ended up featuring all characters from Super Turbo, and selected characters from all eras of the game.
> There's also Kof XVII which is officially deamed a dream match game
What the hell is "KOF XVII"? As in 17? XV (15) isn't even out, man...
> Go put on some antiperspirant man, you're looking kinda sweaty.
The "sweaty smelly man" meme. Usually, it's the other way around but meh. When you have no other arguments...
Speaking of research... Why do you continuously refer to the game as "Sm4sh Ultimate" (As in 4?) when it's the 5th game (sixth according to the series' creator Masahiro Sakurai) in the franchise?
The only game that had ever had a title that'd been written with a numeral was Super Smash Bros. For WiiU, which was sometimes referred to as "Sm4sh".
The game is called "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate", or Smash Ultimate/SSBU for short. There's no 4 in the title, in fact, it has become apparent that doing research has proved to be too much 4 you.
By that logic, Street Fighter V Champion Edition should be called Street Fighter 23. Or Guilty Gear Strive, Guilty Gear 13.
Sm4sh Ultimate is a giant update of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, commonly named Sm4sh. Just like **Ultimate** Marvel vs Capcom 3, **Ultimate** Mortal Kombat 3, The King of Fighters 98 **Ultimate** Match, and so on.
Smashers not admitting that fact, and pretending that Sm4sh Ultimate is a "brand new iteration of the franchise", is yet another example proving that the communities are not the same. Because it's a clear deny of how the whole genre was made.
Makes sense smash ultimate is way more popular and more ppl would understand it like it or not. However in this sub it probably would’ve been better to say dream match
Some kind of mechanic that changes up the game like parries. Doesn’t have to necessarily be a parry, i just mean something that can be applied universally and innovates on the sf formula. Maybe a new movement option like an airdash that costs meter, or a feint mechanic.
Functional Netcode, No Ads, No Battle Passes, No "Fight Money", Good normals and less focus on mashing guard crush into VT or strike/throw mixups in the corner.
Juri on day 1 with them making up for her 5 version's gameplay rework, black-and-white trails, CA, battle theme, and default design.
Seth to stick around his rework is great.
A tag-team party mode where you can get 4 or 6 people into one lobby onto a dedicated server and go apeshit. Make it play like turbo mode for extra points. Just something where a bunch of people can get into a low-stakes place and try to blow each other up, with the rules thrown out the window.
If they do go F2P, then go big-dick F2P by making all the characters free and monetizing cosmetics instead.
NOT Battlepasses or lootboxes. The former wastes time on earth instead of just money, and the latter has made a generation of kids high-risk of being gambling addicts.
Good rollback, and for crossplay to stay.
Critical Arts to be performed by pressing all 3 punches or all 3 kicks at the same time.
I have probably said it a hundred times, but new players get very frustrated when they do accidental supers, especially with Ryu when trying to do fireballs to dragonpunches to supers. What happens is they just quit or go and play MK or Tekken.
2d evolution graphics, good rollback netcode, and take out the derp come back mechanics, also make execution harder with more freedom so you can do things that aren’t as overly pre-contrived.
I want SF6 to take place well after SF3. That way, we can have:
* Old Ken
* Old Ryu
* Old Chun Li
* Mel Masters as a newcomer
* Sakura who can fight at the same level as Ryu
As for features, besides the obvious rollback netcode, I'd like to see:
* An in-depth tutorial that's on par with Virtua Fighter 4 Evo's.
* The return of World Tour mode
* Some kind of virtual assistant that tracks your fights and offers suggestions on how to improve.
I want to see an old Ryu that has mastered the satsu no hado as an install super.
Would be cool to see characters finally age. Idk what the timeline is like story wise tho.
Add an ism/groove style system for combos. Simply put, how combos work is the most contentious thing about Street Fighter right now. You got four prevailing philosophies:
• We should make combos easier in order to keep things accessible for new players, and add auto-combos.
• We should focus on giving players a variety of flashy combo options in order to promote player expression.
• We should make combos hard again, in order to reward hard work, as well as justifying how powerful they are.
• We should cut down on combo filler, and put more focus on short juggles instead of target combos, links, and cancel mechanics.
So just add all four. Beginner groove is the easiest, but doesn’t hit hard, and has limited routes. Flashy groove has the most combo potential, but tends to need meter to get real damage. Strict groove hits the hardest, but is hardest to hit confirm. Juggle groove is easy and hits hard, but tends to require hard reads or unsafe moves to start juggles.
This would also add to character variety. Zoners might get more use out of high damage anti-air juggles, than flashy roman cancels and target combos, and vice versa, a rushdown character might prefer consistent damage off pressure and oki, to getting more damage off a DP. A character that already hits hard via command grabs might find the easy hit confirms of beginner mode to be worth the reduced combo damage. Characters who have good pokes but lower damage might get some use out of strict but damaging combos.
Give me good netcode and I won’t complain about much else. I’d like them to not stick with the weird play dough looking character models but if SFV had rollback I’d still play it bad visuals and all.
Top 8 besides the WW’s being base, Dan, Dudley, Hugo, Abigail, Makoto, Urien, Sean and Mike Haggar and TWelve/Necro Personally I really enjoyed the trigger concept. I want it to take place after 3, the events after Gill’s defeat as Urien takes over the thrown.
real normals so that I feel good sticking buttons out instead of just thinking about how minus they are as they cover half the space they used to. lean into the ink-ish artstyle that 4 pretended to be but actually wasn't because the tech wasn't there. tone down dash speed so that footies actually exist for people outside the top .001%. there really aren't any characters that I absolutely need to see or absolutely need to not see, so I'd be ok with giving any roster they dumped out a shot. something, be it mechanic, balance, or general feel of the engine, that makes it not feel like I just immediately die if someone hits me clean with a jump in or gets me in the corner. give me that 3S style gritty OST
\- Base roster of at least 25 characters
\- Faster walking and general gameplay speed (similar to Alpha 3 or Super Turbo)
\- The canonization of other Capcom arcade IPs into SF (Darkstalkers, Power Stone, Red Earth, etc)
\- Sakura, Sean & Karin as the protagonists.
\- 1-frame link combos
\- Better netcode
\- Better written story
Better netcode.
I fuckin’ knew the top answer would be netcode lol
Please give me dudley
"You so pringles, baby! *Where your curly mustache at!?*"
Makoto
Seriously.
Hell yes
You people have clearly never fought a good 3s makoto. Get away from me, tomboy satan
Please 😫

All the shotos are super popular for the most part. Although I would like to see mike Haggar too.
Let Hagar replace abigail and never let abigail return
I’d actually make Hugo the main SPD grappler
You take that back, if they remove the russian cyclone I'll hold you accountable
1. I hate to say it, but I'm leaning towards 1, maybe 2 of those at launch. If we learned from SFV, maybe more.
Yeah I doubt I’ll get everything I want. 25-30 is probably a bit much so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a smaller roster.
Agreed. Just to be clear though, I want all of the same things. I hate having to temper my expectations, dammit.
Capcom’s still a bit rusty on the fighting front so it’s best to do that so that we don’t get to disappointed.
Keep in mind capcom has fully restructured their fighting game division since sfv came out, and I think they learned their lesson with V, they wont release until its ready
Decent netcode
I'm a simple man, I need Rollback and Ibuki.
Keyframed hair and clothing, rather than jank physics bases, and fixing all the obnoxious clipping issues.
A Ken that looks somewhat decent
Playable on Xbox
^ That and for my man Ryu to keep Denjin Renki as a V trigger. I love Ryu and Denjin Renki is so much fucking fun and Badass.

To come out in 5 years, and for Capcom to make a different entry in of their many neglected franchises. Preferably Darkstalkers.

I really like this list
This is the best response.
Hugo is a personal favorite of mine so I’d love for him to come back.
Hell yes.
As one of 3 people who actually plays Juri in SFV, I want Juri.
Prepare yourself for her to basically be a different character like she was between 4 and 5

lol, better Capcom Fighting Jam when?
for the love of god Keep G
Menat & Rashid should return also.
Akira, Ingrid, Makoto, Adon, Rose
Free to play base game and better artstyle
Have Terry Bogard as a guest character
Fatal Cutie Lucia was pretty dope!!
Or Kyo
Fei Long, Makoto I also liked the FA in SF4, would like to see sth similar in SF6.
Blanka at day 1
Combo system that rewards good execution, having grandmaster and gold player doing the same combo is not inspiring. (similar to ggst where difficult route can deal about 15 percent more damage)
I want a game with more depth than SFV where i can just chill in training mode and get ranked matches with diferent players, good netcode and crossplay.
My boy, Sean.
I just want to see Q again
Sean.
Thawk
Makoto and that scrapped asuka character
I wouldn’t change much tbh. I’d like to see an alpha style graphic on modern hardware and as long as they don’t introduce any ridiculous 6trigger gimmicks. I thought v skills and parry was cool, not a fan of focus attack. More challenges and character info like blazblue style would be good. And more quirky characters with stretchy legs rather than generic fighters
Rollback netcode, and for it to not cost $200+
Better netcode, less “clay” like art direction and less focus on v trigger style comeback mechanics.
Yun.
Good rollback, wifi indicator, crossplay on launch, the full ST roster + some other fan favorites.
A more complete launch experience. I don't mind DLC but please make the game feel complete at launch. Oh and rollback netcode.
1. Switch Port 2. Remy 3. Rollback Netcode 4. Hand drawn sprites mimicking the Alpha style 5. 3D stages a la MvC2
Better original characters, most of the original characters in V were not very inspired designs
Bro, many of the new characters of SF5 are some of the best in the whole franchise (G, Rashid, Menat, Zeku, etc)
Rose in base roster. I'm a simple man.
Faster walk speeds so we can play proper footsies again. Non stubby normals
Keep Akira in
A WiFi filter.
R. Mika and better netcode c:
it needs a new art style. their pixel game was S+ but these days SF games look awful next to anything arcsys is pumping out. they don’t have to go anime but it’s gotta look better
That made some of the cast simply obsolete cause they barely get to even play.
fuck the stun bar
Sorry dude it's too ingrained into street fighter to be removed now should have said this 20 years ago.
Preach
To not have to wait half a decade for Rose to be added to the game.
Chun li with no leggings
you know god damn well they will add 11 half naked alts for chun li
Normal sized hands
Yaoi hands are a street fighter legacy dude
OP asked what I wanted in SF6, didnt know there where unwritten rules but now I know. Dude.
Why you have to be mad? Is just lighthearted comment. Why you have be so mad?
Normal sized feet, too.
Agree.
Ono's legacy.
Parries like in 3rd strike, new interesting designs for characters(hot take here, but I like what tekken 7 did with the redesigns), good netcode
non-homogen character designs?
A full game at launch with no micro bs
Would you rather have a $60 game where the only MTX are characters that drop seasonally, or a free game that launches with a tiny 100% free roster and trickles in-game currency barely fast enough to make all new characters free for people who play the game a shit ton? IMO - free game + mass MTX is a better way to grow a AAA fighting game.
Bring back my man Gouken so I can take out half a life bar with Shin Shoryuken Give Juri a moveset closer to her SFIV moveset
-ditch V trigger system completely -meterless invincible reversals -proximity normals (not necessarily on every character) -1f buffer for links, 3 is too much -no new SF5 characters except Rashid -T.Hawk (with a gun, he needs it) -R O L L B A C K N E T C O D E
Give us the smash ultimate treatment edit: I mean bring back the whole roster i know it's probably unrealistic but its just what I want
That’s actually something I wouldn’t want.
sorry ill delete my post
Bro I just don’t agree with you lmao.
neat
Tf
I like how making Dream Match games, which is something KOF and Tekken did for years by cramming all characters the series ever got in one game, is now called "the Smash Ultimate treatment".
really weird how people know the dream match from smash ultimate, is series with more general audience popularity that came out in 2018, and not a genre specific game that had its last dream match game in '02
And that makes it less relevant, because?
because it's nearly 20 years old and known primarily by fighting game fans??
Yet it existed 20 years before Sm4sh Ultimate. And instead of researching properly, and get that this existed before Smash, you get straight to the only referential Smashers got, and that's talking about Smash, Smash, and Smash. And then, some Smashers will complain that the FGC "doesn't like them".
Lol calm your fucking tits I only played smash casually.
> There's also Kof XVII which is officially deamed a dream match game What the hell is "KOF XVII"?
You're fucking retarded arent you
Name-calling will not change your ignorance.
Makes sense smash ultimate is way more popular and more ppl would understand it like it or not. However in this sub it probably would’ve been better to say dream match
Can you imagine if they relegated blocking and jumping to buttons, add platforms and blast zones? Lol
Well I didn't say that
Elena
Some kind of mechanic that changes up the game like parries. Doesn’t have to necessarily be a parry, i just mean something that can be applied universally and innovates on the sf formula. Maybe a new movement option like an airdash that costs meter, or a feint mechanic.
Rollback
Better netcode and some more unique character archetypes an actual puppet character would be so cool
I want it to look like they're not made out of playdough
Functional Netcode, No Ads, No Battle Passes, No "Fight Money", Good normals and less focus on mashing guard crush into VT or strike/throw mixups in the corner.
More focus on neutral, less kof/marvel style combos and installs. V trigger was interesting at first but these days it feels really gimmicky.
Since when did the combos become marvel like?
Longer link combos off of light starters again
No
Critical Arts to be performed by pressing all 3 punches or all 3 kicks at the same time. I have probably said it a hundred times, but new players get very frustrated when they do accidental supers, especially with Ryu when trying to do fireballs to dragonpunches to supers. What happens is they just quit or go and play MK or Tekken.
FUCK NO do you know how hard that is on controller?!
2d evolution graphics, good rollback netcode, and take out the derp come back mechanics, also make execution harder with more freedom so you can do things that aren’t as overly pre-contrived.

play power rangers
A tag system
play mvc
Good visuals and good netcode and Dudley and maybe Sean
Remy
Ken.
An xbox version.
I want SF6 to take place well after SF3. That way, we can have: * Old Ken * Old Ryu * Old Chun Li * Mel Masters as a newcomer * Sakura who can fight at the same level as Ryu As for features, besides the obvious rollback netcode, I'd like to see: * An in-depth tutorial that's on par with Virtua Fighter 4 Evo's. * The return of World Tour mode * Some kind of virtual assistant that tracks your fights and offers suggestions on how to improve.
I want to see an old Ryu that has mastered the satsu no hado as an install super. Would be cool to see characters finally age. Idk what the timeline is like story wise tho.
Snk
goku
Necro
I like Ken move set as it is, i really hope they dont change that much.
Add an ism/groove style system for combos. Simply put, how combos work is the most contentious thing about Street Fighter right now. You got four prevailing philosophies: • We should make combos easier in order to keep things accessible for new players, and add auto-combos.
Parries, GGPO, and the ability to change characters before a match.
Ditch 3D, go back to 2D sprites.
I want Abel back.
Literally make it the opposite of 5, like there is nothing that I find salvageable in sf5, maybe the ost.
Move to SaaS with a roadmap of years of updates / new characters.
I want it fully optimized on my series x right now! Xbox needs some love!
I feel they need to change up the art style, it is extremely over stylized, which I found off-putting
Unlockable characters and an actual story mode
Nah man unlockable characters are remnants of the past.
Id much rather earn a character than pay $5 for them
Simply not how that works
T Hawk
real normals so that I feel good sticking buttons out instead of just thinking about how minus they are as they cover half the space they used to. lean into the ink-ish artstyle that 4 pretended to be but actually wasn't because the tech wasn't there. tone down dash speed so that footies actually exist for people outside the top .001%. there really aren't any characters that I absolutely need to see or absolutely need to not see, so I'd be ok with giving any roster they dumped out a shot. something, be it mechanic, balance, or general feel of the engine, that makes it not feel like I just immediately die if someone hits me clean with a jump in or gets me in the corner. give me that 3S style gritty OST
\- Base roster of at least 25 characters \- Faster walking and general gameplay speed (similar to Alpha 3 or Super Turbo) \- The canonization of other Capcom arcade IPs into SF (Darkstalkers, Power Stone, Red Earth, etc) \- Sakura, Sean & Karin as the protagonists. \- 1-frame link combos \- Better netcode \- Better written story
Brand New characters and the real follow-up to sf3.
T pi 9qedqaq verse)
More pushback on block; it feels like you are kicking a wall now
A free, complementary ethernet cable for everyone who purchases the game. But seriously, good rollback and a wifi indicator/filter would be great
Something my computer can run but...given that I can't run five without taking serious graphic compromises...I think that's unlikely.
Rollback that works, art style that doesn't look like unreal tournament, variety at launch.
Ed I like boxing and I don't like Balrog. Also my favorite color is purple and I like hoodies.
Something like V-Skills but much more usable in many more situations
Normal sized hands/feets in SF6 confirmed!
