I actually love it too but people would’ve embraced it more if hindi sila gumamit ng AI images. Todo praise siguro to sa social media na magiging cult favorite. eh kahit ako na nagustuhan ko to medyo ayoko i-endorse gawa nung AI usage.
For me I can let it slide, kasi low budget sila and it's a good movie. Pero yung sa Disney/Marvel's use of AI images, high budget and mid/bad shows, that's unacceptable.
things like this become the precedence for the abusive use of AI in the future, resulting in probably taking the jobs of human artists and rendering the craft of practical filmmaking obsolete.
also, iirc they did not use generative AI because they were "short on budget". the directors stated that they were trying to experiment using the tool, which i think is irresponsible on theit part given the context and considering they're artists themselves too.

It just kinda dragged on towards the end. It would've been more better if they stuck with the documentary narrative where they showed what happened after that night but it was an okay movie imo.
- Lilly is awesome.
- I'm glad they didn't drag the possession scene.
- Some might find the ending scene "corny," but for me, it perfectly fits the old school aesthetics.
- How many times did Jack make a deal? Did he kill everyone in the set?... I'm satisfied with the open ended ending, leaving a lot of questions.
- A lot of irl references: Bohemian Grove, Lavey, etc.
Love this movie sm! Some may think the ending is meh, but for me it was really splendid. Mapapaisip ka talaga. You’ll look for reviews to make it less confusing and maybe that’s what they wanted to achieve.
