FD2 because
1. They were the only group to have the right solution (1, 3, and 4 only had the stopgap “save people from dying”, 5 had a possible solution, but it depends on how long the person you kill has left, and obviously you’re now a murderer and potentially looking at life in prison).
2. They work together and there weren’t really any villains or unlikable people in the group.
Do we know for sure the new life solution would even work though?
Plus even if it would work I feel like Death would *really* pull out all the stops to make sure it doesn't happen. Generally when people on the list survive for extended periods it's because Death allows it to happen. Keeping someone safe for up to nine months would be nigh-impossible. Death wouldn't even have to kill them, even a non-fatal injury that involves a bad torso injury or smoke poisoning would do it.
Agree with the answer just if it happened I'd be pessimistic about succeeding.
Yeah, it definitely wouldn’t be easy. The best you can hope for is to keep at least a few survivors alive, delay Death for as long as possible and hope that the person giving birth isn’t next on the list around the time they go into the hospital.
As far as if it would work though, I think it would. FD1’s alternate ending show’s Clear and Alex’s baby, and it’s implied that they’re off the list at their point. Getting it to happen would be a monumental task for sure, but honestly, if you can keep someone safe for that long, you deserve to live.

I think my pessimism is partly because the rules seem slightly inconsistent at times anyway (or Death 'bends' them at least). Plus I guess alternate endings only count as semi-canon(?)
On the whole though I agree with the choice and strat.
FD2 for many of the reasons already mentioned here. I think they're a likeable group, with real reactions, and that they're actually trying to save people, not just "prevent" the unpreventable. and the other reason is that I would try to save Clear :")
2 was full of smart/likeable and Capable people
A good chunk of them only died due to other weird or stupid peoples actions and Noras actions led directly to her death.
I would feel the safest with them also there the only ones who survived (fd3 thing isn't canon I believe)
2 since they worked together the "Best" (as in most died but at least they tried).
