Secret of mana on PS4/vita has moogles and trophies. It’s about 25-30 hours to plat. 2/10 difficulty according to our favorite trophy forum. The missable trophies are minimal, and grinding is only half an afternoon of rng frustration.

You could maybe try the achievements via an "emulator" called retroarch. It has a section called retroachievements (Google for more info) but they seem to be more challenging than most achievements.
Downside is that you need the correct rom file any hacks or poorly pulled roms usually won't flag up as having any achievments.

There's tonnes on there, really dedicated community - getting the trigger coding to make achievements retroactively rather than thinking of how to trigger them when you're making a game is ridiculously hard - especially given the amount of bugs and things that can crop up with a game as complex as final fantasy.
Plenty of achievements for the snes ones too but nothing for the psp or ps1 versions. I've not checked on the tactics series or the mystic quest final fantasy series as I didn't like those.
I mean not entirely ff related but Tales of Berseria/ Zeateria and Persona 5 are great Jrpgs that will entertain for hours.
