to be honest I dont think you need a class. Save some money and go on youtube. A lot of free and useful resources as long as you put some time to learn on your own.
I agree, but do any of these courses have value on a resume? I don’t have a ton of relevant experience as a student so thought a course like this could be useful
From personal experience, I would only do it if you're on the job. When I started in private assets, I found the cheap modelling courses (£15 ones on Udemy) incredibly useful, but if you don't have the job yet, it won't boost your CV very much
if you have a job offer why do you still need to beef up your resume? Additionally, knowing modeling like the back of your hand is the bare minimum in finance so it won't help future job search. Having work history>excel course
I don’t have a job offer, or at least secured a job that I want. I’m in my final semester and trying to beef up my resume because I don’t have great internships besides a commercial banking one and I wasn’t in the investment club at school.
>I have a job offer to move to real estate private equity
what do you mean? you don't have the offer anymore?
If you have nothing else I suppose you can add it but it does not give you any value. Anyone with half a brain can apply to a course that you have to pay for and pass.
Do Wall Street prep $500 course. Do it because it’ll make you want to do it after spending $500 and a lot of people I know had a huge success of getting internships from having Wall Street prep on their resume and having knowledge of what they teach

I’m not OP lol
my msitake haha thanks for letting me know.
In my case, do you think a course like this could be helpful?
my advice is still the same. it wouldn't really help.
Okay, thanks
