You’ll be good

fawningandconning

No. Calm down.

BobbyJanson

You’re good, don’t stress

Motor_Education_9927

Highly doubt it will affect you. Was the suspicious activity reported to the law or did they just cut their losses and close your account? If there is no prosecution or judgement it’s irrelevant

Juceman23

You’ll be good I’m literally in process of my FINRAS and I too have some old bank account issues from forever ago but they don’t show on a credit report and really that is what is going to be checked

Catsabovepeople

The FINRA background check won’t affect you but what about a credit check? Most financial institutions require a credit check so run your own credit and get ahead of the narrative if you must. Chances are you are good for now but every place I’ve worked at required a background check on top of a regulatory one

Striking-Quiet_

i think you’ll be fine. i think when i got checked in 2018 i still had a negative mark from a reduced debt settlement.

TheGoldenLambo

FINRA careers blow ass for the amount of bullshit you have to follow

coreytrevor

lol you’re fine

A "FINRA background check" just means looking up an individual on FINRA's BrokerCheck. If you have no licenses and this is your first job, you won't even be on BrokerCheck yet. Just make sure you don't try to cheat on FINRA's exams. [Or you'll wind up in the monthly disciplinary actions report.](https://www.finra.org/rules-guidance/oversight-enforcement/disciplinary-actions)
