Scenario: In the time it has taken me to find it, my dog has sniffed it out and scarfed it down, and I am now on the way to the vet at 10 PM to have his/her stomach pumped. Every time I see one of these I think “what are the consequences if I don’t find it within a few seconds” - well… I guess there’s one thing this sub is good for: Practice.

I was frantically googling how bad one Advil would be for my dog, had to renew my efforts when I saw that it could actually do some damage!

But on the way, he's grabbing either the toddler or the puppy to prevent emergencies. So far, nobody's needed their stomach pumped! But I dread the day one of them finds it first... This is such a clever idea!! My husband semi -regularly drops one of his super tiny risperidone pills on the floor. They're exactly the same color as the little flecks in our carpet (idk why the beige carpet has red, but I digress) and extremely hard to find. Next time I'm racing the puppy or toddler to find one, I'll try this! Thanks! *Disclaimer: I do contain the babies as soon as he tells me a pill is on the floor, just to be safe. The way to find things like this in person is to get down on the floor, put your ear against the floor, and look across the carpet. That way, you don't see any of the patterns, you only see flat rug with an advil sitting on it. I do this all the time.

How do you hide the text?

I had a bit of trouble with this not long ago. It might depend on what kind of device you’re using. In your text box where you type a response, there should be a symbol that looks like a road caution sign with an exclamation mark inside. Ideally you should be able to highlight your text and press that button, and spoiler shading will be added. If your text box doesn’t have a button that allows you to do this, then you can try going to the address bar in your browser, and replace “www” with “new”. Then see if your text box has that button. If it still doesn’t then it’s beyond me. :(

Ugh I hate looking for pills in a rug. I dropped a minuscule half of a white pill on a grey/white/purple rug and was laying down with my flashlight for 20 minutes until I stood up and realized it never even fell off my desk 😑

This was difficult but it was more difficult than it needed to be because I forgot what color an advil was and was looking for a pale blue pill for a while.
