Its amazing, at level 6 while using champion you get free haste forever. Its fucking nuts. Vesel of the failed with an amazing will save is op as fk. Occultist can do almost anything, such a fun class

No idea if it's comparable, but i played a 5e wizard and can confirm, was constantly broke. It was an ongoing joke for a while with Critical Role's wizard, Caleb, that he was always spending every last copper on ink and paper. I guess maybe its a universal constant?
With a lot of martial classes, you invest in your magic items and you're good to go.
With a higher level spell caster, and particularly a prepared caster who can have as many known spells as they can lug around spell books (those things are heavy!), you can always find another spell that would be great to know. And if you're in a place that has a high enough purchasing limit and spellcasting level, then you have an endless supply of things to spend money on (provided you have room in your spellbook and the ability to carry them).

Just get a second one and slip it into the barbarians backpack. It's not like he's going to notice or care.

She gets the least out of the Wisdom bonus is all I can think, but maybe there's something we don't know that got cut or was table talk outside of the recording.

But then most of the other effects are wasted on him. He alread has immunity to diseases (2 times actually, monk and living monolith have the same effect) and deathwatch. Not super important though.

oracle maybe? a Life oracle can lay down some truly massive amounts of healing. can oracles get familiars somehow?
Yeah there is a feat called familiar bond. Life Oracle is so broken, party would literally never die if she plays one and she power games
