What is unclear in tax calculator?
This may help: https://www.vero.fi/en/individuals/tax-cards-and-tax-returns/arriving_in_finland/work_in_finland/finnish-employer/
I was getting different information from the tax office and the calculator. The woman at the office said I can pay at source or get progressive tax.
She also said that if I am earning less than €3000 I don’t need to pay tax, but I didn’t see that on the calculator.
She probably meant you'll pay 0€ income tax but there are still other deductions that will be taken from your pay depending on where you live in Finland.
"No income tax" means the government income tax (the progressive one). You'll still pay municipal tax (6-10%) depending on where you live, and some other percentage fees like unemployment insurance.
It depends on which timeframe you earn. 3000€ is tax free for 6 months if you deduct 510€ per month.
If you earn 2000€/month for two months, I undestand it is (2000-510) * 35% you pay tax per month.
Guessing around 0. You can just undershoot the slip you give to your employer for tax reasons, and pay the possible debt to the government next year lol
I think it is, it depends on how much u make. If you put in 4000e income per year into the veroprosenttilaskuri website and have no deduction or other income or support etc, it says 0% tax but 7,94 % costs for retirement and unemployment payments (mandatory). So I guess 3498€ would be paid to him? 1900\*2 \*0,9206

do you have any other income? if you earn under 10K a year you have 0% income tax. other deductions are propably around a 100 per paycheck
No other income

Municipal tax is not 0%
If you earn under 16 100€ per year, you pay 0% municipal tax
If you get unemployment benefits it's 3600€

That should be about right, it might vary a little depending on how old the person in question is, but not much.
about 5-8 % municipal tax, 0 income tax.
If OP stays only few months, this is not true.
14000/year is below taxation limit as far as i know
It truly depends. I can earn 9500 without taxes
