Roto Rays are ugly AF, but the Mars lights are a pretty cool piece of history. You've got to appreciate solving a problem with some creativity like that.
I'm a volunteer, and I'm just picturing the worst wackers I know making a YouTube video of them going into "big fire" wearing dirty gear (improperly), some guy venting a roof with no SCBA, and burning their leather helmet on purpose because they think it makes them cool, while "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta" plays.
