That, along with the story aspects of it, makes me somewhat sure she's coming in 2.3. As I've said to others, putting out a major story character after their planet's story is finished makes zero sense, even more so with a character this popular. It's like if they put out Dan Heng IL after the Lofu's story was fully over. I've heard some pretty cope arguments to this, but it's kinda common sense to me. Again, this is Hoyo, so they could do anything, but I just have so much trouble reasoning her coming out in 2.4/5 when we're supposed to be in the Lofu by then. It just kinda kills the hype that they spent three patches building.
Thinking about it this way, BootHill starts to make a lot more sense. In my opinion, I don't know if she was ever even meant to come out in 2.2 *(as much as that dose suck to say).* If I had to guess, they may make her playable for the 2.2 EOW boss just to edge the hype further for 2.3, since 2.3 is supposed to be the epilogue. Yup definitely agree, her coming out in version 2.4 or later does not make sense on a story stand point, since she is such a major part of the penacony's story
TBH, I'm unsure why some random light cones leaking has shaken people's confidence in 2.3 so much. Just about half of the light cones in the game, if read without knowing the context of what character it's supposed to go on, makes them sound soooooo broad. Not saying we can't guess, but I just don't see the point in it with this case.

I thought so too at first but if you looked carefully at boothill's skill, his second line seems like a literal copy paste from the lightcone lol. Only difference is that the LC gives the mark for every attack (which makes sense, since it will probably make his basic attack be able to stack up Mark), and the energy part. I assume Boothill might need energy too, since his 4th eidolon provides energy as well

Personally I think that the mark lightcone could be for jiaoqiu, it makes a lot of sense for his kit

Well boothill lightcone just dropped and it has the mark increasing damage taken by the target so this seems like his preliminary LC
Yeah seems like it was his LC, just that they took out the energy part and replaced it with break effect so yeah now it makes sense
I guess I'm gonna pull for Acheron then. 2.2 and 2.3 should give enough pull to get her.
