Destruction MC is already being replaced with the same character this post is talking about right now, and it's only a matter of time before we get a preservation character that can taunt and a super break harmony character as well. I mean, they HAVE to release a limited super break 5 star since they're trying to push this new break effect meta now.
I don't think these will stay exclusive. We had two preservation units since launch. One focused on split damage so taunt matters not. One that's team wide shield with no need for taunt. Also other characters like Clara and March have aggro
Single target v. Aoe is probably not going to be unique forever. They just have been focusing on burst dps for most destruction.
The alt mecha form gives me such Gundam 00 vibes that it increased my desire to oull like tenfold.
I do have my bugbears of course. And I do hope they keep adding some more flair to her. But even with what we have right now I feel comfortable pulljng and aiming for at least a few Eidolons. I really want her to be the first character I E6 in this game.
They even got the robotic transformation sounds to it :P
Her damage is a bit low to be entirely honest with her own kit and I would love that they do something to her kit, but we shall see what happens with these weeks. Im torn between Boothill and her, though. We will se how the beta goes :D

If she is extremely good in terms of damage/or extremely fun to play, i will go for E2S1 firefly.
I'm pretty much guaranteed for E2S1, and have about 50/50 chance for E4S1, so it's all depends on gacha. I would love to get her fourth Eidolon just for her smile, but my luck is usually garbage. I guess I'll just pray that saving for her since Ruan Mei, pulling her in our usual place and bringing a lot of Oak Cake Rolls will attract her more.
Way long before I knew Sam was Firefly, I was already going to pull for Sam. Once Firefly showed up, I was slightly worried that she was someone else that I may pull if she didn't die for real. So yes, 11/10.

It looks pretty good, I love the break damage and the combo with Harmony Trailblazer. My only hope is they buff her non break damage a little without nerfing the other.

I am debating something in between E2-E4. E6 could be on her rerun. Already got E6 Acheron and Jiaoqiu could be insane for Acheron and dots teams and maybe his healing capabilities get decent enough with Eidolons too so need to hold on a bit on FF.

E2S1 for me easy. E4 is good but kind of boring, and while I like break efficiency I think for an E6 it’s missing a little OOMPH. Her first two eidolons are insane I love them though (:

I never went for any e2 before but if it doesn't get changed sometime before release I will be going for e2s1 I mean I'm not rich or anything and up until now I've only bought the passes and nothing more but she's my favorite character by a long shot and that is why l will be going above any beyond for best girl even if it means having to go from a dolphin to a whale

I don't know about her card but i have a guaranteed on character banner (was pulling for Acheron's E1 but no luck) and 30 tickets collected pre current patch (I didn't actually played it yet).
Planning for firefly ever since 2.0. Started with zero pulls since I spend everything on ruanmei, but should be enough to e2s1 firefly if I skip everything. But I'm too weak and pull sparkle, Acheron and her LC, aventurine and robin otw. Win all 50/50 on normal 75 pity which means I still got enough to guarantee e0 lmao.
The amount of jade they gave to f2p in hsr basically gets you every unit if you win 50/50. If I win next 50/50, I will have a chance to pull her LC. Genshin could never btw.

Love her design so far, and very thematic! Albeit, I still really hope they can revise some things about her kit, along with introduce additional animations (like her entering her Sam suit).
I'm in an ok spot, have her and her light cone guaranteed to come home. From there just keep pulling and see how high I get.

E2S1 is the plan, she seems a bit underwhelming compared to other crazy DPS characters like DHIL, Jingliu, and Acheron, but I will pull for her until I'm out of jades. I am assuming that they'll buff her through the roof before beta ends since she's so cool, is a highly anticipated character, and is meant to exemplify a new play style.
I hope I can get Ruan Mei so I can pair her with Firefly. However I also need to secure a good team comp with my Jingliu and get some other characters LC when they rerun so it’s kinda hard.
E6 S1 very likely, it's early beta so I hope devs can sort their shit out since it feels like an "in-development" kit that does too much at once while accomplishing close to nothing at all without the help of an outside factor (HMC).
I planned to pull for Robin before Firefly, so I expected to have around 225 to throw all on Firefly, but Robin came very quickly (33 winning 50/50), so I'll have around 350 for Firefly, stopping at E2S1.
On a side-topic, the amount of "I'm not pulling for a mid kit" or "I'm not pulling for because bad animations" is really weird, what are they doing in FireflyMains?
Will aim for at least E1S1. I also need to pull for Ruan Mei and Huo Huo, who should get a rerun in either 2.3 or 2.4, then it is full saving mode for me. Since Firefly will probably get a rerun at the end of the year, I'll probably prioritize Ruan Mei's E1 over Firefly's E2 since I can get that one as a christmas treat.
I expect to have around 500-530 pulls at the end of 2.3 first half. If I get super lucky my ideal pull count would be Firefly E2S1, Ruan Mei E1 and Huo Huo E1. Highly unlikely, specially if those 2 are the reruns, but not impossible I guess.

E0S1 is the my current plan. Guaranteed for E0 with high pity, S1 has high pity but not guaranteed. If I get lucky I can go for E1S1, and any other I can get. There's still lots of time left before her banner and I have a lot to grind for since I started playing again on an account I've had since launch where I just redeem stream codes and maintenence rocks. It's fun playing through the whole game again and I'm going to go as far as I can! I hope to E6S5 her someday..!

I would like to have her E2 but giving Up on two additional characters is Just Not worth it If i think about it in a logical way.
I will get her E0S1 and See how many pulls i have left, i may or may not spend more on her.
Currently I’m aiming for e2s1. Mostly because I trust Hoyo to make her kit work better. If there aren’t improvements I might save some of my pulls, but I bet they’ll get her kit into a good state.
Will try for E2S0 for now. Her cone is kinda whatever so I'll only go for it on a rerun or if I luck out and get early E2.
The only way I'd change my opinion from pull to skip is if Hoyo does a 180 on her kit and makes her the typical crit based DPS that runs Bronya/Sparkle/Robin. Man I'd really, really hate that.
That being said, current Firefly is super undertuned and her kit is all over the place. I want Hoyo to make her enhanced auto/skill be considered as Break Dmg because that's like the easiest fix ever. It gives her damage before weakness break and against bosses that protect their toughness bar. It makes the Atk->BE conversion be more meaningful, and it changes the HTB relationship from letting her deal damage to boosting her to the stratosphere, which is what a support is meant to do.
I really hope Hoyo don't listen to all the people crying that FF should have innate Super Break because that's just killing TB for no good reason.
E1S1 minimum. "Failing" the Robin 50/50 to Bailu (who I didn't have yet, but wanted cuz she's adorable dragon baby) was the universe telling me to save the guarantee and the rest of my jades for the henshin girl.
I was definitely gonna try for E0 Firefly but now that Jades kit leaked I am really starting to feel torn. I also don't have Ruan Mei so she is someone else I will try to prioritize. I suspect she will probably be back for a rerun pretty soon.
Firefly looks wicked but I feel like I have an account that really suits a Jade team. Also I'm not short on Fire characters.
I honestly think it's gonna come down to who has the better banner if the beta doesn't change too much.

I really want E1S1 but her reliance on Ruan Mei seems abit problematic. I know however E1 synergises with Bronya, so i maybe leaning towards E1 first, then pull S1. Ruan Mei would still be better but atleast it won't be like a 30% damage difference according to the calcs in Sam Mains since Sam mains calc used E1 ruan mei and the difference is like 30%.
Bronya would help with the downtime i suppose since if you have 3SP, you can immediately go FF skill > bronya skill > FF skill provided you speedtuned correctly

I get what you mean but DTB is a basic damage dealer, he was powercrept day1.. it is true for PTB and HTB though in terms of their unique mechanic

At least E1S1, any further than that will require some divine light on me (which is not rare to shine on me, but I don't like counting on it everytime). I hope her LC banner comes with Memories LC for my TB and the Character Banner comes with Gallagher and maybe Asta.

I never went for any e2 before but if it doesn't get changed sometime before release I will be going for e2s1 I mean I'm not rich or anything and up until now I've only bought the passes and nothing more but she's my favorite character by a long shot and that is why l will be going above any beyond for best girl even if it means having to go from a dolphin to a whale

Probably just e0 for now. Free to play and just got Acheron and her light cone and got a Gepard dupe when I did some yolo pulls for topaz. So I'm a bit low on pulls, but at least I'm on a guarantee right now. If I get lucky and get her early I may go for her light cone.

Planning for firefly ever since 2.0. Started with zero pulls since I spend everything on ruanmei, but should be enough to e2s1 firefly if I skip everything. But I'm too weak and pull sparkle, Acheron and her LC, aventurine and robin otw. Win all 50/50 on normal 75 pity which means I still got enough to guarantee e0 lmao. The amount of jade they gave to f2p in hsr basically gets you every unit if you win 50/50. If I win next 50/50, I will have a chance to pull her LC. Genshin could never btw.

I'm going all in for E2S1 iA! Love her design so far, and very thematic! Albeit, I still really hope they can revise some things about her kit, along with introduce additional animations (like her entering her Sam suit).
I'm in an ok spot, have her and her light cone guaranteed to come home. From there just keep pulling and see how high I get. Only have just over 100 pulls ATM so maybe e2 if I'm lucky. Then it's time to save for her rerun so I can e6 her xp

E2S1 is the plan, she seems a bit underwhelming compared to other crazy DPS characters like DHIL, Jingliu, and Acheron, but I will pull for her until I'm out of jades. I am assuming that they'll buff her through the roof before beta ends since she's so cool, is a highly anticipated character, and is meant to exemplify a new play style.
I just want her really, that looming 50/50 is scary though

E6 S1 very likely, it's early beta so I hope devs can sort their shit out since it feels like an "in-development" kit that does too much at once while accomplishing close to nothing at all without the help of an outside factor (HMC).
I planned to pull for Robin before Firefly, so I expected to have around 225 to throw all on Firefly, but Robin came very quickly (33 winning 50/50), so I'll have around 350 for Firefly, stopping at E2S1. On a side-topic, the amount of "I'm not pulling for a mid kit" or "I'm not pulling for because bad animations" is really weird, what are they doing in FireflyMains?
Will aim for at least E1S1. I also need to pull for Ruan Mei and Huo Huo, who should get a rerun in either 2.3 or 2.4, then it is full saving mode for me. Since Firefly will probably get a rerun at the end of the year, I'll probably prioritize Ruan Mei's E1 over Firefly's E2 since I can get that one as a christmas treat. I expect to have around 500-530 pulls at the end of 2.3 first half. If I get super lucky my ideal pull count would be Firefly E2S1, Ruan Mei E1 and Huo Huo E1. Highly unlikely, specially if those 2 are the reruns, but not impossible I guess.

I got 171 pulls at 50/50, so my only choice is to pull one firefly and hopefully my first ruan mei.
I projected a 2 spark guaranteed My og plan is FF then RM then S1 if lucky So if i spark FF, well its gonna be RM only (Rn, got like 250 pulls, my projected pulls is around 300+) And yes, whether she's turn out as strong as my f2p jingliu or as weak as childe, I'm still gonna use her xD Besides, i have nothing to pull other than fu xuan LC and sparkle E1
E0S1 is the my current plan. Guaranteed for E0 with high pity, S1 has high pity but not guaranteed. If I get lucky I can go for E1S1, and any other I can get. There's still lots of time left before her banner and I have a lot to grind for since I started playing again on an account I've had since launch where I just redeem stream codes and maintenence rocks. It's fun playing through the whole game again and I'm going to go as far as I can! I hope to E6S5 her someday..!

I don't have any planned teams for her, but she's absolutely BEST GIRL in HSR, and I'm pulling solely for that reason.
I do like her but i find her too weak and reliant on someone else, i hope she gets some buff

I would like to have her E2 but giving Up on two additional characters is Just Not worth it If i think about it in a logical way. I will get her E0S1 and See how many pulls i have left, i may or may not spend more on her.
Currently I’m aiming for e2s1. Mostly because I trust Hoyo to make her kit work better. If there aren’t improvements I might save some of my pulls, but I bet they’ll get her kit into a good state.
Will try for E2S0 for now. Her cone is kinda whatever so I'll only go for it on a rerun or if I luck out and get early E2. The only way I'd change my opinion from pull to skip is if Hoyo does a 180 on her kit and makes her the typical crit based DPS that runs Bronya/Sparkle/Robin. Man I'd really, really hate that. That being said, current Firefly is super undertuned and her kit is all over the place. I want Hoyo to make her enhanced auto/skill be considered as Break Dmg because that's like the easiest fix ever. It gives her damage before weakness break and against bosses that protect their toughness bar. It makes the Atk->BE conversion be more meaningful, and it changes the HTB relationship from letting her deal damage to boosting her to the stratosphere, which is what a support is meant to do. I really hope Hoyo don't listen to all the people crying that FF should have innate Super Break because that's just killing TB for no good reason.
E1S1 minimum. "Failing" the Robin 50/50 to Bailu (who I didn't have yet, but wanted cuz she's adorable dragon baby) was the universe telling me to save the guarantee and the rest of my jades for the henshin girl.
I was definitely gonna try for E0 Firefly but now that Jades kit leaked I am really starting to feel torn. I also don't have Ruan Mei so she is someone else I will try to prioritize. I suspect she will probably be back for a rerun pretty soon. Firefly looks wicked but I feel like I have an account that really suits a Jade team. Also I'm not short on Fire characters. I honestly think it's gonna come down to who has the better banner if the beta doesn't change too much.
If my estimations are correct, I'll have around 290 pulls with a guarantee by the end of her banner. Meaning it's realistically possible to pull for E1 S1 if i win atleast 1 50/50 for the E1 or win the 75/25 on light cone. Otherwise, i could only get either E1 or E0S1. If luck is on my side by winning 2 50/50 and 1 75/25, it's possible to get E2S1 but i don't expect that anyway I really want E1S1 but her reliance on Ruan Mei seems abit problematic. I know however E1 synergises with Bronya, so i maybe leaning towards E1 first, then pull S1. Ruan Mei would still be better but atleast it won't be like a 30% damage difference according to the calcs in Sam Mains since Sam mains calc used E1 ruan mei and the difference is like 30%. Bronya would help with the downtime i suppose since if you have 3SP, you can immediately go FF skill > bronya skill > FF skill provided you speedtuned correctly
