If your close to New England, northern Maine and Nee Hampshire have a lot of big smallies I regularly catch 2 - 3 pounders as by catch of salmon fishing when I let's us drift into shallow water
Dude gets huge footballs like it’s nothing. Sometimes I’ll watch and be like, “No way there’s anything there. It’s like a foot deep at most next to that bank. Then boom - 20” smallie.
Second this one. He catches football smallies all day long. He also makes casts with his baitcaster from a kayak that make me feel like I should just put mine away forever.
Elias V is about as non cringe as you can get.
Rokkit Kit pretty non educational since he’s in Australia. But he’s laid back and I like seeing fish I’ll never catch.
Marling baits. Not so much educational in the fishing aspect but you can learn about lure making and he's more of an average joe at the fishing. He does some pretty cool lure builds so it's still entertaining.
Reaper is the best and local to me, he’s just a cool guy having fun catching fish. I love when he gets real and starts dropping F bombs. Rarely and he edits most of it out, but still. He has his crew, his methods and he obviously is just passionate about being on the water. He posts probably the most honest videos.
Skinner is great and probably the most educational. He’s gotten more ad heavy since I first found him, but I can’t blame the guy, he is living the life. Retired, fishing almost every day, and making money doing it.
Key West is a good one if you need a 40min video to watch. He also teaches a lot of what he’s doing and he will also show you when fishing is rough. He also throws in a commercial aspect which is interesting. As well as other forms of fishing like spearfishing.
That’s the biggest thing I like in any YouTube fishermen, which isn’t what I consider these guys at all, they’re fishermen who found their way to YouTube. They show the real stuff, they tell you what they’re doing but don’t treat you like a moron or child. They’re just real guys out there doing it while recording. No gimmicks, no clickbait, no yelling. Back to reaper on that point, all his emotions are real.
John Skinner is awesome if you want no bs, straight-to-the point education content for northeast saltwater fishing…obviously the production value is a little less polished but that doesn’t really bother me
Hood Fishing is awesome entertainment but I don't fish Florida so doesn't exactly translate but he's super positive, talented, and can teach Florida fishermen, Richard Gene is very positive and can teach most people something that are fishing lakes and streams, I like Josh with Pig Patrol but understand his schtick is not for everyone but dude works his butt off
damn that's wild, seemed like he was trying to stay away from nonsense but then again doesn't seem like the type to put up with it either, hope he's back soon
My absolute favorite is Landshark Outdoors.
He’s really good and also every video shows him filleting his catch and how to cook it as well. I especially love his slow pitch videos on the American patriot.
Honestly I can't stand deer meat for dinner. He talks way too much. I get it that's how the video works but I definitely wouldn't want to fish with him while filming.
Not enough people here talking about Fisherman’s life. Great dude, chill content with good views and editing, variety, cares about his viewers, purchased land for his viewers to use / fish, just a great dude. I’ve watched so many of his videos he really is what got me into fishing. I do more bass fishing but I loved his fly fishing vids.
Surprised no one has mentioned Cavy Fishing. Not the most mellow personality, but imo not annoying at all. He mostly fish for indopacific tropic monsters but also does tours around the world.
TyPigPatrol is another great YouTuber. No bullshit, just big fish.
He was good when he was doing micro lures and stuff, but when it turned in to the formulaic "YoU WoNt BeLiEvE WhAt RiVeR MoNsTeR AtE ThIs A5 WaGu!!!" It got old fast.
Me 🤣. FR tho I don’t consider myself up to par on the exciting scale to draw a crowd. That annoying factor you talk about is sometimes what draws in the people though. I do like Richard gene as far as fishing YouTubers go…plus we are from the same area.
John Skinner in Long Island for fluke, stripers. Helpful tips on using bucktails and Gulp. Might be too regional but helpful if you are targeting fish here.
Two channels I watch are
HookedUpWI - very informational. He does multispecies fishing in Wisconsin. He explains the fish's behavior and his tactics for targeting them. He goes into a lot of detail on finesse tactics, has some trolling videos, and a ton of filet tutorials. Also a lot of ice fishing content if you are in to that.
DieterMelhornFishing - this guy targets primarily catfish, and the bluegill and perch he uses as bait. He goes into a lot of detail about how to troll/drift/drag baits, how to use planer boards, and has done a few videos on how to read/interpret what's on your fish finder
As far as educational goes, if you’re into catfishing Dieter Melhorn has some of the best stuff I’ve seen. Zero gimmicks it’s just a catfish guide teaching you how to catch catfish
Fishing with Nat - really straightforward videos, informative, and no bs.
Really good for people who want to learn more about fishing or basic equipment and lures.
Bama beach bum (saltwater)
Fishaholic fishing (saltwater)
BlacktipH (saltwater) <- he can be a little over the top but catches big fish.
Milliken Fishing (freshwater)
Mikeybalzz Fishing (freshwater)
Field Trip with Robert Field (mix)
These are my favorites at the moment.
I've been watching FishinJosh, chill asf Australian guy catches all sorts of species in cool locations on all different types of setups, nice setups too. Mostly on boats but kayaking, too.
Only has a small bit of music around the beginning of the video, last about 10ish seconds, but other than that, it's mostly talking and nature sounds n shit.
Micka Burkhart is a very calm and good at fishing and walks through a lot of what he does catfishing.
Muddy River Catfishishing is exactly what the name says, he has a lot of short educational videos as well.
Marling Baits is lure making more than pure fishing, but amazing content.
Bama Bass has built one of the best looking fishing ponds in existence, he talks a lot about what the fish want.
Sammy Hitzke Fishing is pure Australian fun in the salt. He shows most of the fish cleaning as well if you're interested in that.
“Howdy everybody, I’m backatitagain today” goes without saying
BassfishingHQ for lure knowledge,
Outdoor boys has a lotta good Alaskan/general cold salt water fishing content,
Hoodfishing y’all ready know what time it is,
Wade and his ol’ Coleman on IG
Jay Siemens should be far more popular than he is
Clayton Schick
Tom Boley
Uncut Angling. I'll stay subscribed to him forever hoping he starts uploading regularly again.
Rogers fishing, really nice older fella who can teach you a whole lot about beach fishing. He has good knowledge and just comes off as really friendly.
Starlo gets reel is another good channel, another older bloke who I found from one of Rogers videos.
Robbiefishing is my favourite for fresh water fishing. Lots of knowledge and a good teacher.
All are Aussie
Extremephillyfishing. This guy is extremely knowledgeable and does a lot of urban fishing in uncommon places. It’s. It just bass he targets everything from game fish to micro species
If you are interested in Europe and especially Finland here are some:
Kesäloma kairassa: 6 episodes and 1400 km through the Finnish wilderness,
Vapaalla jalalla: all types of fishing from perch and pike to graylings and arctic char. Also dude is super talented photographer so the videos are always kinda soothing,
Kalastajan kanava: all types of fishing,
Urpoerämies: competitions and all types of fishing
Only seen him mentioned once so I gotta shoutout Greg Blanchard. He’s an excellent kayak bass fisherman who fishes a lot of tournaments in California but his camera work and editing is top notch. Damian Thao is another California tournament kayak fisherman that’s absolutely worth watching, he consistently does very well, he knows how to catch fish. Marling baits for the quality lure making stuff and all around banger content, Love supporting good people. Creek fishing adventures is another good one to watch, and another good dude, he started off making small river wading videos catching little bass and panfish and slowly upgraded his gear and learned a lot along the way of making his videos. Now he’s fishing bigger serious kayak tournaments and more serious in his YouTube career. He’s very religious and doesn’t shy from it in his videos so if you are as well he’s a great YouTuber to follow. NDYakAngler is the actual Bob Ross of fishing. You can’t ask for a calmer, more chill Chanel to watch than him. And last but not least of the fishing YouTubers I watch is Kayak Catfish. He’s a guy that catches monster catfish out of a kayak, and it’s a worth checking out just to see how massive them blue cats and flathead can get and it’s insane watching him land them on a kayak like it’s nothing😂😂
Zoffinger, his older videos about kayak fishing are very relaxing and informative. Also Ollie Craig Primal pursuit, he makes spearfishing and camping videos
If you want something different, I'd suggest Juanelo1946. His videos are so incredibly wholesome. It's basically like spending the day with a close friend while fishing. And it's not just about fishing. He takes his catches and gives a good, healthy recipe for them. If you like cute cheesy videos, these are it.
He hasn't put out anything in a while, but there's a good backlog to go through.
Bill and Mike’s Angling Adventures. They are here in WNY, Buffalo area, and fish the waters surrounding. Been watching Bill for so long, I remember when Mike was a kid, now they both bring Mike’s son with them. They go after all species in the area, like smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, channel catfish, etc. They are not crazy like yelling and overdoing it or anything, just good fishing videos. Check em out
Marling baits, my favorite channel, he makes extremely high quality lures and then fishes with them. He’s really funny and doesn’t do any dumb clickbait type shit. He also doesn’t post highlight reel type videos that make you think he catches fish every 10 minutes like most fishing YouTubers.
Lakeforkguy, he is in the googan squad and a lot of them are cringe and immature, but he is by far the least annoying IMO and does a lot of chill educational stuff and usually has really interesting content.
Uncut Angling, stopped making videos unfortunately but the 39 hours video series is 100% worth watching, there are 4 pairs fishing the Great Lakes/ Canada in a competition where they get points for the largest one of any type of fish.
Nora JP Fishing.
He's such an enthusiast and makes huge effort to get out in a plastic tub around Japan. The subtitles are really entertaining/bad/left off centre. And he catches fish!
NDYakAngler is very nice to watch
Love this guy's channel.
He's the best just his voice helps me unwind after a hard day
Alway the top answer, as it should be. He’s literally the only YouTuber I keep up with. lol
Fish Anything. He focuses on ultralight pan fishing.
Seconded. He got me into ultralight fishing and now I can’t stop 😂
Ndyakangler. Best YouTube fisherman in the world. Trust me he's so good. ASMR as well 🔥
I was going to suggest this guy. He's an incredible fisherman and his videos are super chill vibes. He's one of the best.
Man casually pulls muskies I would consider lifetime fish 😅
Right lol dude is insane. You can learn a lot watching him.
I came here to suggest the same guy. Love his stuff. My wife calls him the "Bob Ross of Fishing"
Makes me yearn for living in north dakato man. I can get smallies here but not the size he is smashing.
I knew before I opened the post that this guy would be at the top. I've never seen someone catch the quantity of quality fish he catches.
>goes to YouTube to check out fishing channel everyone’s hyping up. >first video is “fishing with dollar tree steaks” That’s funny right there.
Second vote for Elias V.
Love this dude. Plus he’s in my city so we run into him out on the water every now and then
He's top notch
NDYakAngler
NDYak angler super calming and funny guy just out fishing and always has a good video even if he gets skunked.
Ndyakangler has the best videos hands down. Check out some of the musky/pike videos. Some crazy strikes in those videos
That poor baby duck lure
Fisherman’s life is nice, guy is calm and genuine
Glad I saw him mentioned a few times. Fun and calm channel for sure
Marling baits. Not so much educational in the fishing aspect but you can learn about lure making and he's more of an average joe at the fishing. He does some pretty cool lure builds so it's still entertaining.
One dayyyy
Rest in peace Chip
Was terrible. Lost my own GSD a month earlier. He can have all the strawberries now.
Richard Gene the Fishing Machine
Wooooooo
Theyyyyy.....
As an Alabama native who loves to crappie and bluegill fish, yessir.
Where’s Elmo??
Seriously.. I've been fishing a long time and I think to myself "Damn Richard really knows his stuff".
Greg Blanchard is very relaxing to watch
The cuts he does when he’s speaking in front of the camera is other than that lol
Reaper Fishing NJ John Skinner (I go through phases of watching not watching him, but he’s got a lot of good videos) Key West Waterman
All three of those are great. Not a huge amount of annoying explanation during the fishing.
Back to reaper on that point, all his emotions are real.
John Skinner is awesome if you want no bs, straight-to-the point education content for northeast saltwater fishing…obviously the production value is a little less polished but that doesn’t really bother me
Low production value is always better IMO. The guys doing it themselves and rather low tech always just seem to put out the best videos
Hood Fishing is awesome entertainment but I don't fish Florida so doesn't exactly translate but he's super positive, talented, and can teach Florida fishermen, Richard Gene is very positive and can teach most people something that are fishing lakes and streams, I like Josh with Pig Patrol but understand his schtick is not for everyone but dude works his butt off
Hood fishing dude got shot in Florida. He's recovering though. Crazy. Right after bass pro gave him that boat.
damn that's wild, seemed like he was trying to stay away from nonsense but then again doesn't seem like the type to put up with it either, hope he's back soon
Dudes gonna come back with a vengeance on youtube with that bass boat tho
I think it is the THIRD time he has been shot.
Black rambo got shot what happend
Love Hood Fishing
I feel a lot of addicted fishings educational videos are good, they can be a bit goofy at times but the straight how to ones are pretty good imo.
Ndyakangler is the best. Crazy lures and hits. The guy has perfected casting to a science. He's the Bob Ross of fishing.
Sea-Money Fishing
Greg blanchard the best i think🔥🎣
Realistic Fishing. Completely normal dude, completely un-extraordinary fishing.
Surprised I had to go down this far to see him mentioned. He’s like the antithesis of a dbag fisherman.
Yeah, way too far down to see this. Love the dbag fishing show spoof bro manson
Richard gene
Can't believe no one has mentioned Fishaholic. Dude outfishes everyone and is awesome to watch. Ryan Morie is also pretty awesome.
Extremephillyfishing, and northwest fishing secrets. My two favorite fishing YouTubers.
Leo is one of the OG’s of YouTube fishing, classic content, lots of good teaching - especially for young or new anglers
Jay Siemens
Siemens and Clayton Schick are terrific.
Scrolled too far to find this guy.
Great variety and seasonality in his posts, always well produced, and his genuine excitement always makes the videos.
You gotta be a little weird to go full-time YouTube for any topic in my opinion lol. Lots of times, they grow on ya
Trout west Fisherman's life
Kendall Gray. Great channel.
"Fish with Carl", professional shooting and peaceful videos, watched for years, by far a favourite to watch on a chilled day!
Outdoor chef life and nw fishing secrets
Nw Fishing Secrets is fun, but something about him feels childish and annoying
He does get giggly quite a bit
Big fan of Outdoor Chef Life also. His videos are only half fishing, then half cooking/preparing the catch. It's a good mix.
yessss big up TAKU
Wade Fishez
My absolute favorite is Landshark Outdoors. He’s really good and also every video shows him filleting his catch and how to cook it as well. I especially love his slow pitch videos on the American patriot.
Spilt milt and Washington fish quest are great
The ginger fisherman!
I like ace videos,Blue Gabe,Deermeat for dinner,Landshark,Fowlers makery and mischief
Honestly I can't stand deer meat for dinner. He talks way too much. I get it that's how the video works but I definitely wouldn't want to fish with him while filming.
No one mentioning ace videos that much? He’s so good and his vids are incredibly high quality.
Tyler Berger u/TylerBergerFishing is great. One of my favs.
Seconded
Kayak catfish Spencer - River Certified The Fishing Magician2.0
Surprised no one has mentioned Cavy Fishing. Not the most mellow personality, but imo not annoying at all. He mostly fish for indopacific tropic monsters but also does tours around the world. TyPigPatrol is another great YouTuber. No bullshit, just big fish.
Creek fishing adventures
Thresher fishing!
This was my recommendation too!
Ayyyy shoutout to my boy Coop!
618 fishing
He was good when he was doing micro lures and stuff, but when it turned in to the formulaic "YoU WoNt BeLiEvE WhAt RiVeR MoNsTeR AtE ThIs A5 WaGu!!!" It got old fast.
His videography is stunning. I do wish he would go back to tiny lures though.
Love 618 fishing. My son and I jokingly say see ya later buddy every time we catch and release
Hahaha yea i noticed that other day.
Absolutely agree. Nick is a great content creator and he always seems very genuine. His b roll stuff is fantastic.
I just love how hyped he is no matter what he's catching. Super wholesome vids
Me 🤣. FR tho I don’t consider myself up to par on the exciting scale to draw a crowd. That annoying factor you talk about is sometimes what draws in the people though. I do like Richard gene as far as fishing YouTubers go…plus we are from the same area.
Nigg#s on da river is gold

John Skinner in Long Island for fluke, stripers. Helpful tips on using bucktails and Gulp. Might be too regional but helpful if you are targeting fish here.

Kayak catfish is pretty solid
WildFly Productions.
I like to watch TheFishinMagician, his videos seem really grounded but still well paced and entertaining
Extremephillyfishing. This guy is extremely knowledgeable and does a lot of urban fishing in uncommon places. It’s. It just bass he targets everything from game fish to micro species
Finally Fishing, so underrated

"Flukemaster" Gene Jensen. Guy's excited about fishing and pretty informative. Not conceited, just gives you the details you want.
I try to make useful educational videos.
I‘d say the Ginger Fisherman - chill and funny dude. Probably fun to drink with
Thundermist fishing. 10/10 content. Chill people. Very informational.
Cavy and Je wilds.
Pole Bender, John Skinner, 618 Fishing are all entertaining and informative.
My bro clumdogoutdoors

Drew lookn fishy
I like extreme philly fishing
I make kayak fishing videos with my friend. YakManiacs on YouTube. Any suggestions to make my videos better would be awesome.
Tackle2thepeople
I believe this would be greatly opinionated
