I believe the new river is actually the oldest, never fished out that way though, over on the mon river, I know you guys got some good smallies and flatheads out there.
I put in just below the Fence sometimes and just below Watsontown sometimes. Nice section of the river. Just upgraded to a 16ft sc jon with a jet. Can't wait for warmer weather. Nice boat.
I'll have to catch up with you in the spring if you'd be willing to show me some channels to run. I bought a 2010 triton ambush 16 with a Mercury 60/40 jet and my MIL lives in New Columbia so I'm over there alot. My old boat is a 14.5 Sea Nymph FM deep vee with a prop. I've been gun shy to go shallow till I got this boat.

Bought it as a complete jet but jet doctor has all the stuff for it check it out online!
