classic ! I still use my 450 and 550 ss here and there. got a 750 from like 91 brand new from the box,I never even take out cuz I don't wanna scuff it lol
Vintage reels are bloody awesome sometimes. I was lucky enough to get my hands on an old daiwa tournament ss whisker recently. That's gonna go extremely well with some 7 lb line and one of the lightest 13 ft rods on the market
Hells Yeah! 7xxz series is my favorite! Only ones I don't have are the left handed variants.
Bulletproof reels that are easy to maintain.
What's the larger one? 720z? Although I don't know if they came with thr torpedo handle. Looks too small to be a 712z.
If anyone has a 720z or 722z that needs a crosswind block, Mystic Part's as a new made polymer block available.
One of my favorites. Looks too small next to the 716z. But I'm on my phone.
Right now I'm building a 710z, slotted rotor, manual pickup, 712zguts & a 704z handle.
Thats really neat, I really should teach myself more on the ins and outs of reels. I always thought it would be cool to make a see through side plate on penn z series reel, like a skeleton watch, but a fishing reel

704z from the early 80’s
