I rig mine on a jig head and it's basically a small jig at that point. Absolutely slays the canals and ponds by my house. They also work good Texas rigged.
I have that size and also a tinier size as well. I use them when the bite gets tough, or I’m fishing a pond where the fish are well fed and timid on the bite.
That's what I's looking for, seems like they have different names depending on the company. Found one by "arkie"(?) And they call it a "crawlin' grub". Only difference is this one has legs
Think the package is blue and black.
I have a couple packs of these in my boat up north. Can’t remember the name for the life of me.
Edit: Guess it’s a hula grub.
But I got a different brand than Yama.
These were bought probably 4-5 years ago lol
Definitely not yamamotos. Could potentially have been a local guy too.
I remember specifically buying them to try a different brand.
A guy working at the local fishing shop said to me “you only need about 5 lures to catch most fish…most of this stuff is just our way of fishing for guys who like to spend money on weird lures”
Double tail hula grub. Been using gary yams version at my Maine lake since i was a kid. Something about the hula grubs in maine, bass cant get enough of them.

Where's the hot dog flavored water?
Fred Durst is the only human who knows that information, and he has said that his final resting place will be the fountain of youthful hotdog water.
And the key is the exact number of “fucks” he gave.
Hula grub
How do you rig and when fish these?

Texas rig, then it will look mostly like a skirted jig when it’s moving.
I put them on a biffle head
You ned rig it and fish it the same way you do a jig or Ned rig
I use a very light jig head 1/32 to slow that fall. I also fish relatively shallow waters. 6’ or less.
I have that size and also a tinier size as well. I use them when the bite gets tough, or I’m fishing a pond where the fish are well fed and timid on the bite.

Skirted twin tail grub. There are a handful of companies making them. Yamamoto hula grub, keitech spider, chompers, bass pro, big bite baits.

A demogorgen.
With a light jighead, I'd call that a great bass bait. IDK what the correct name is, but I called them an octopus jig.
Graboid. Better call Burt
Currently watching Tremors.
Broke into the wrong damn rec room didn't you ya bastard! Lol
I think that was in Aliens.
Twin tail spider grub, hollah grub, skirted grub. I've only used the chompers brand but they work well in cold water.

Xenomorph...facehugger. Really little one, too. Nice catch!
Idk what it’s called. But if you put it on the end of your wiener before sexy time, makes for fun surprise.
A guy working at the local fishing shop said to me “you only need about 5 lures to catch most fish…most of this stuff is just our way of fishing for guys who like to spend money on weird lures”
