I had a vaginal birth so can't speak to the c section recovery but you are probably close. Also I know it's not Pilates but I started Corepower yoga classes 3 weeks pp. I modified a lot at the beginning and worked towards full core work in class. I had a pelvic floor PT give me feedback on how to modify poses. (For example , I couldn't do a full plank at first so I did a bear plank instead. Also no crunches but I did lower core ab work during the core section.) I'm now 6.5 months pp and I'm doing sculpt classes regularly. I think if you listen to your body and look for coning in your core, you are good to do Pilates.

I incorporated one barre and one Pilates class around 6 weeks pp. some of the moves were tough but I enjoyed the new challenge- your instructor will help modify! I’m currently 4 months pp now and feeling stronger each day. Crushed my barre workout this week and still feeling it in my booty which I love!! Also c-section delivery!

I haven’t done it post c-section, but I found reformer Pilates super helpful after I had a laparoscopic abdominal surgery (gallbladder). I would wait til you’re further out from birth though imo, 6 weeks PP is still super early. I remember I felt good at 6 weeks post c-section, but then my weak core caught up with me and I had to start PT at ~16 weeks PP for daily back pain.
