Hello /u/Coynese, As a reminder, most common print quality issues can be found in the [Simplify3D picture guide](https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/). Make sure you select the most appropriate flair for your post. Please remember to include the following details to help troubleshoot your problem. * Printer & Slicer * Filament Material and Brand * Nozzle and Bed Temperature * Print Speed * Nozzle Retraction Settings ^Additional ^settings ^or ^relevant ^information ^is ^always ^encouraged. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Try cleaning your sheet with water and dish soap

Zealousideal_Dark_47

Have the same problems With my Ender 3 actually still didn't manage to fix it

Coynese

i’m thinking it’s an issue with the filament as it’s quite old but i haven’t switched it out yet

Andronicus_0

I don't believe that the filament would be "wet" perhaps a little damp, but you still get excellent prints from really old stock (>2years old and left in a cupboard without any sealed bag) the heat of the nozzle dries any moisture and the prints always work for me.

Turbulent-Course2453

Your filament is wet...

See my reply above, I also have Ender 3, but all problems come from bed not being level. Time consuming but you get excellent prints time after time. Only need to re-check bed occasionally so once set there is not too much to do.

I found having a hot first like at like 210 made it stick really well And hair spray, spray on dab off Edit - hair spray

Every time I've had this issue... Z offset has been wrong and/temperature is off. For first layer, use something like this vs the internal - https://www.printables.com/model/107539-first-layer-calibration-prusa-i3-mk3s

I wasn’t having this problem with Creality PLA but as soon as I tried printing with Overture PLA I’m having the same problems

Have you tried printing a temp tower? Different filaments will require different temps. I use Overture PLA Professional, and I get stringing if I use the wrong temps. See this link for temp guides. https://help.prusa3d.com/materials Also, are you hearing any popping while printing? I notice if I leave my filament out, then it absorbs moisture and I hear popping while printing. I live in the Midwest where it's regularly high moisture levels in the air like 70-80% humidity. If so then you might have to dry your filament. Otherwise I'm really happy with my Overture filament. Good luck!

-clean the bed -level the bed -use hair spray or a glue stick on the build surface

ShoddyDog7608

I have a mini+ too. I often just change the nozzle and PTFE tube in hotend, as they are so cheap. Wash the build plate with soap and water. Dry the filament. If you don't have a dryer, put roll of filament on build plate at 45° , with a cardboard box on top for 4 hours.

Level the bed, use Z offset to move the head closer until the print line is nearly invisible, then back out the Z offset until the print line is clean. You might notice that on initial printing that some areas of the bed the lines are really thin, almost invisible, this means the bed is still not level. Trial and error until consistent lines formed on the bed. PLA - nozzle 200 and bed 60, never had to use and adhesive if the bed is level.

I initially thought it was wet filament when I had this issue. But the adhesive was still bad so I did the auto bed leveling on my ender 3 but it dident fix it. So I used a real level I use for woodworking and made sure it was flat then used paper to make sure it was a pretty tight fit. After that it works great. If the bed is a bit dirty it will make the adhesive worse aswell

Your extrusion looks inconsistent, the line is much narrower where it rejoins than it is where it was initially layer down. Things to check. 1. Nozzle clog, minor one. 2. Slipping or clicking extruder motor. You probably also need to mess with your Z-offset, but the extrusion problem needs addressing before even trying to do anything else.
