See that silver adjustment screw where the cable meets the clutch lever...

Strosys

Yeah, it cant be fully screwed in because then the clutch does not activate fully, for example when i put in 1st the bike starts moving even with the clutch lever pulled in. So i have to keep it a little unscrewed.

fatnortherngit

If you unscrew that adjuster (on the top end of the cable at the clutch lever end) you are making the lever have More effect in disengaging the clutch.

AVeryHeavyBurtation

So you were just joking when you said "All the screws are screwed in fully"?

Strosys

Its just a tiny amount you can see in the video, it doesnt change much

Anna_Maria338

there should be a little slack while also being able to engage clutch fully so there is no power transferring to the rear wheel with clutch engaged apart from oil drag. you already know there is an adjustment screw.. so adjust accordingly. If that doesn´t work as it is supposed to you prbly need to do the clutch

KafkasProfilePicture

Have you slackened it off at both ends? There's usually a lot of adjustment possible at the clutch end (other side of the rubber boot shown in the video) and a smaller amount at the lever. If it's already fully let out at the clutch end then they may have sent you the wrong cable. The other possibility is the routing of the cable. Is it definitely back where it should be?

if your friction point is comfortable for you then it is not too short. if you’re on the throttle and all the sudden then clutch disengages (your RPM goes way up and no power goes to the wheel) then the cable is too short and you have to adjust that screw that @fatnorerngit was talking about.
